With about a month to our wedding day, Ted and Alisha contacted us, letting us know that they had our wedding date available, that was if we hadn't found a videographer already. We hired a Spotlight Parties Photo Booth for our wedding. I had tried many photo booths at the…read moreBridal Bazaar, but was having trouble finding one that gave out great photos, had fun props, and was affordable. I really didn't want to add another $1000 onto our wedding cost, but I knew we wanted to have a photo booth at the reception. I actually found them through Amazon Local deals. They are based in LA, but seems that they are providing services throughout Southern California now. The deal was originally for 2 hours, but they doubled the price so we could have them at our venue for four hours. They also threw in some of the extras we wanted for free, and we paid a little extra for a few additional upgrades, such as a disk with all of the images, and a hot pink curtain. We had a concert-themed wedding, and I was able to drop off a lot of concert-themed props to add to the fun props they already had...so I added rockstar shades, inflatable guitars, and microphones. The photo booth is open rather than enclosed, which made it fun, because at any given moment, I could look over and see a group of friends and family posing with crazy props, which just added to the reception entertainment. The attendants were nice to us and our guests. Several of my guests told me that was the most fun they ever had at a photo booth. I would have given 4.5 stars, as a few of the graphics could be a little stronger, but I rounded up because it added so much to our reception, and it is more important to have a really fun photo booth, than one with perfect graphics. I definitely do recommend hiring them for a wedding or party.

To improve the range of wardrobe in the shots, we paid a little extra and were able to rent out the wardrobe room which includes everything from fur shawls to angel wings. Another feature I really love about the studio is the variety of shots you are able to get because of the wide variety of backgrounds and complimenting furniture... a white cove, a brick wall, a chaise lounge, etc. Chanel Rene owns and operates Studio OC and is an absolute pleasure to talk to and work with. Her drive, determination and love of the space are apparent as soon as you walk through the door. I HIGHLY recommend this space if you're looking for a Studio in OC...and for all of southern California for that matter.

In group shots not everyone was looking at the camera or people were in a strange spot. Honestly there isn't one image that stands out that I truly love, and out of 508 images that's shocking to say but true. I had to suggest different poses for our wedding party. Something I thought the photographer would have done esp for such a hefty price tag. Almost 2 years later, I am still disappointed when I look at the images, and it has taken me this long to even wrote a review. Wedding pictures are supposed to be something you look back and with complete excitement and happiness. I don't get those feelings at all. I feel stressed when I look at them and disappointment. I will say I am giving LM Photo 3 out of 5 stars because of the photo booth which we got from the photographer last minute. The photo booth was a surprising success.

Each corner and area has its own character and I love that you can do so much with it. The hair and makeup room is really cool and glamorous. I love the long and open window in the blue space. My favorite part of the studio is the corner Windows facing the streets because it has all the natural sunlight shining through. The energy is so awesome right there which makes me want to zen out! Love this studio.
