Heres a breakdown of how it works: First, you request a quote through their super easy online system with your desired dates/type of vehicle. I received my quote about 3 days later with the type of vehicle and exact price. After paying my $50 deposit, my reservation was confirmed. I received a reminder text a few days before with info about my rental. The owner requested my flight info to track my flight/ensure the car was ready by the time I reveived my luggage. Right after my flight, I texted Lenka and she immediately replied she was on her way with our rental vehicle. Lenka picked us up curbside at the airport within a few minutes. After being picked up, we drove to the office which was about 5 mins away from the airport. We filled out paperwork for a few minutes and was able to leave with our rental! Lenka was super hospitable and gave us a small lunch bag with fresh fruit. Lenka also gave good local tips. Day of drop off was even simpler. You meet Lenka at the office and she drops you off directly at the terminal. When it came time to pay, it was the same exact price as listed in the quote. Found this place and was able to book a van right away, they picked us up at the airport, signed the contract and provided my license and insurance and was on my way! I can't say enough positive things about BEXT Jeep Rental. Being only a week before our trip, options were obviously limited. Looking at the BEXT site, I saw a few available Jeeps that weren't exactly what I wanted, so I submitted an inquiry on the site. Seeing that it was mid-afternoon Hawaii time and late evening my time, Gaston from BEXT reached out via text. I sent him my requirements and he had creative options in front of me immediately. They had the perfect one-touch convertible Jeep available for every day except our arrival day. He offered to have a standard Jeep at the airport for us and then come all of the way to Kaanapali and swap for the convertible Jeep the next day. This was way above-and-beyond and we had an agreement immediately. The pickup experience was fantastic. Clear and timely communication via text with images and videos of where to pickup the Jeep and how to get the key. The vehicles were both spotless and amazing Jeeps. The one-touch convertible is the perfect fit for a Road to Hana trip. Very easy and quick to push a button and have the top back on when a random rain storm pops up. The kids thought the Jeep was one of the best part of the trip as we explored all Maui has to offer. Long story short, if you're going to Maui and want great customer service, reasonable prices, and amazing vehicles, BEXT is the way to go!

The most important factors were: - for convenience (you could not ask for an easier location to pick up/drop of the car).... - for price (so much more affordable than any other option...especially appreciated with our weaker Canadian dollar)... - and for AMAZING service by Josie and Paul!!! We also love supporting local and this couple is just wonderful! Yes, the Toyotas are a bit older but they run beautifully, are spacious, and the AC was perfect! I've zip lined about 5 times now in Hawaii. This was the most intense and fast and furthest…read moredistance course ever. The harness' are by far the most comfortable I've ever used. Biggest downfall, all the hiking. It was straight up the mountain on this goat trail. Footing could be dangerous If you don't have good shoes, balance and pay attention. They give you a water bottle full to keep ( however not in the least bit cold). If you aren't in att least half way decent shape this adventure probably is not for you. It is a lot of physical work. Be prepared to sweat and breathe hard and carry yourself and that 10 pound trolley up the dang mountain with very little to no shade. The guys doing the actual Zipping with us were awesome! Fun and friendly! The guy at the start, when you check in and pay... let's just say he's a grump. Maybe he had a bad day, but we found his to be grumpy and just honestly rude. It's like he hates his job. Would Recommend and go again for sure!
