The king bed is firm but comfortable. The outside kitchen area is perfect, you may share a refrigerator with others but the empty wine cooler serves as another refer. Price is pretty good when comparing to other B&B's in the area. The manager is awesome, he can even help you get a table at Momma's Fish House. Now that is service. Plenty of beach gear is available for guests also. They will do a lot to make sure your visit was a good one. I'll be back for sure.

Best of all, the beach is literally about 10 steps away, making it easy to relax and watch the honu (sea turtles) during sunset, such a special experience. The unit came well equipped with a king-size bed, a full kitchen, microwave, a fridge, and all the basics you'd need for a comfortable stay. We were also given two keys, which made it convenient to access the pool and hot tub. Our lanai had an amazing ocean view and became our favorite spot to enjoy meals and unwind. I've honestly never stayed anywhere that felt so peaceful and relaxing. While the property may look a bit dated, that's part of its Maui charm. We booked the room through Airbnb, but it's also available directly through My Perfect Stays. My only wish is that checkout were a bit later, 11am instead of 10am, since we had a red-eye flight home and a lot of time to fill on our last day. Still, an amazing stay overall that I'd happily return to.

I booked a beautifully appointed studio at the resort at an amazing off-season rate and was extremely happy with my accommodations. Modern kitchen with all the necessary appliances and equipment; large bathroom with separate toilet/shower room, iron/ironing board, blow dryer AND a closet filled with pool/beach accoutrements. The bedroom/living area was outfitted with a comfy queen-sized bed, couch, desk and chair, lounge chair and 43 inch tv. The best part of it all was the spacious balcony which overlooked the Pacific and gave birdseye views of neighboring islands. Noelani Resorts also offers two beautiful pools---one heated, the other not, and a jacuzzi. It also has several grills and a bar area complete with ice machines and the ability to set up an impromptu cookout/luau/party at any hour. What's more, the resort is conveniently located near popular restaurants, shopping, beaches and tourist attractions. But the best part, however, was a secret path leading to an area where green sea turtles come to chill at night. Lets give a round of applause to Mother Nature for this unexpected treat. Some vacays call for expensive hotel rooms with all the amenities and outlets one who saved up for it in advance, can handle. Last-minute vacays on a budget, like mine, call for an amazing place like Noelani Resorts.

Must download and pay through an app (PayRange) Opens 8am-9pm. Free parking for one car. Condo had everything we needed for the beach. Umbrella, beach chairs, snorkel gear, sand toys, cooler!! Plenty of bowls, dishes, cups, pots and pans! Everything you need if you plan to cook!! There's also a bbq grill near the pool. I loved this place!! This place did not have AC, but surprisingly it was not hot. Nice breeze and fans in every rooms kept us cool. We kept the windows open. Each condo has their own wifi, fast speed! At some point, the owners sold off each unit and now every unit there is individually owned and managed thru Vacasa . com (at least that is who you end up booking with when you go to Mahina Surf's website to make a reservation. Therefore, amenities will vary by unit. There is a review here from June '23 stating her unit provided everything (beach chairs, cooler, etc.). She was lucky her unit provided that, but those are not standard amenities the property provides. My unit (#221) had some old random pool noodles and boogie board. Maui is gorgeous and this property is just as beautiful in the photos and is right on the ocean, but just know, your beach access is a beach full of rocks. It's not your regular swimming beach. There's nowhere you can take a stroll on the sand. Either way, most ppl will drive to see all the other wonderful beaches in Maui. Units there are only 1 or 2 bed. 2 bed units are all on 2nd floor. You get a full kitchen with standard amenities (dishes, cookware, utensils, etc.) Some units like mine had cooking spices in the cupboards, leftover pantry items like coffee, sugar as well as plastic containers food prep dishes. Property has a nice pool. No umbrellas (they get blown away by wind) there but plenty of lounge chairs and a few tables. You are equipped with ONE set of bath &beach towels & bed linens. That's it. So depending on how long you will stay, you will need to wash. There's co-op machines. Our unit provided about 5 loads worth of laundry detergent & tabs for the dishwasher. You need to be careful and read about what each unit provides before you book, because it tells you. They DO NOT provide any cleaning supplies. SO BRING YOUR OWN. I brought a 3oz TSA approved spray bottle of Formula 409 and Clorox wipes. You will need to clean because of bugs. There's a Safeway (Vons) nearby & a Costco close to the airport. Costco will have the best prices. Also tons of ABC stores (Hawaii-based general store) where you can get just about everything--but EXPENSIVE. The units have louvered windows and a huge glass sliding door to the balcony/lanai so there's a lot of openness, hence bugs. You may find bug traps (ours had them). It's Hawaii, there's bugs. Anyway, you really can't get away with keeping everything closed up because none of the units there have any AC. I went in July and it was quite hot. There is almost always a breeze, so it's tolerable, but just so. I've also been there in November, but that was 20 years ago, so with climate changes, who knows now lol. Vacasa also provided a few hotel-style toiletries like shampoo and lotion, but bring your own from home because buying at the store is very pricey. A small package of baby wipes at the store was almost $10 for example! Nevertheless, it is Hawaii and almost everything will be double if not more than the mainland.

The house has two separate homes: one is located upstairs with 1 bedroom, bathroom and updated kitchen; downstairs is relatively the same but features a bigger bed and bigger bathroom with a tub. The house is surrounded by windows which allows for a little breeze. Unfortunately, when we were visiting Paia it was extremely humid and even the fans didn't help with air circulation. Pros: The kitchen and bathroom in the upstairs unit was completely updated and the downstairs the bathroom and bedroom had a updated feel. You were able to hear and see the ocean from the top stairs and cook or barbecue on your stay. The grounds were also beautiful. It was also within walking distance from downtown which made it really nice. Cons: The screen doors were very flimsy and hard to close (could be updated) The upstairs bedroom was very small and wasn't the most comfortable for two adults. Although the grounds are beautiful, the grass could of been mowed to cut down on the mesquites due to the heavy rain. They had the sprinklers running but made no sense due to all the rain (it made everything wet). Lastly, they had no can opener which I needed for something (not a huge deal) This is Maui so if you don't like lizards this place might not be something you are into. There are lizards that come out occasionally and roam around to greet you and say hi!

Yelpers want to know. I ve been able to use the restaurant or my kitchen for all meals. We can walk and use two great beaches daily. I haven't moved the car. Today we may go Shop. Decide later. ..... The fitness studio has free weights , a universal machine, a peloton and walking and a striding machine. I ve been able to go daily and the average is 1-3 people. Right now , i am on the Lanai, and i see two distance swimmers crossing the bay in front of us, side by side. Same Stroke. You can only get this lifestyle right here. All i hear is surf and birds.

The Bell Man Nathan was just a gem, he went above and beyond to welcome our family including our children. We attended a special talk he put on to learn about Hawaii. It was so informative and engaging for the kids and we didn't want it to end. It made the time we spent on the island even more special. He even gave my young son a little toy turtle stuffy as a souvenir. They had coloring pages about Maui and crayons in the lobby for the kids which was so convenient for when we were waiting to meet with family. The location is just divine with the koi pond and bridge, the beach is super clean, the pool staff is also so kind and informative ready to provide fresh towels whenever needed. It was a joy to see them each day. The beds are super comfortable with soft cozy blankets and nothing beats the soft sound of the waves as you go to sleep after a fun filled day. The location was so perfect, right on the beach in the middle of Blackrock on one side and Whaler's Village on the other. We found the ABC store to be a bit pricey so we went a couple blocks down in the car to Foodland Market and bought some poke and staples to keep in the room for when we were dining out and it was perfect! We also really appreciated the coffee they provided in the mornings in the lobby. It was so convenient to have there and then at 11:00am they switch it out to the most delicious pineapple ice tea you've ever had in your life! Such a refreshing treat that we enjoyed each day! We didn't have not one single complaint during our stay! It was like living in paradise! We booked through Costco and had no issues! This time, I did my research & called in advance requesting to have a view facing the north (either side - tower 1 or 2). I was told they cannot guarantee a specific room. Which I understand, it was just a request to have a different view. They gave us room 1164 (Studio room in tower 2). The views from the balcony is beautiful. You CAN hear the ocean from your balcony. There is a small table to eat meals in your balcony & a lounger chair. We did not pick a Premium studio so that is why the furniture, kitchen and bathroom is dated. But we were only there to eat and sleep. The bed was too low but was comfy and soft. There is a small sized tv facing the bed. Hawaiian tropical decor all around. The bathroom was ok. The kitchen is fully stocked. Dishwasher and stove works. There is a shared washing machine & dryer in each floor by the elevators. They provide just enough dishwasher pods, soap, and laundry detergent. Again this hotel is a nice gem. Steps away from the Whalers Village: Restaurants & ABC store is walking distance. Hotel grounds are immaculate. Every morning, you can see the workers cleaning or pruning the trees/flowers. You get what you pay for, if you want updated/newer furniture, pick the Premium.

MGO is a small B&B (6 rooms) nestled in a neighborhood between Lahaina and Kaanapali. The neighborhood is full of beautiful flowers and mountain/ocean views. Immediately, I felt a bit more like a local. The location was perfect for hitting beaches in Kaanapali and shops/dining in Lahaina (about a 5-8 min drive to each). The room (as described) has a king bed, mini fridge, kitchenette with microwave, and several dishes/silverware. The bathroom is full of natural light, and has a large vanity. Blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. The room had a spacious deck with a panoramic ocean view and lounge chairs + bistro table with umbrella- We star gazed at night and whale watched during the day (saw a full breach by a beautiful humpback and tons of blows and fin slaps). The real amenities lie in the shared space- MGO offers tons of beach gear to be borrowed- a variety of chairs, coolers, umbrellas, sunscreen (reef safe!), beach towels, toys, floaters, AND MORE! I can't overstate how amazing this is- similar rentals would cost a small fortune to rent. The host was not available when I arrived, but I was greeted by a sweet black cat & check in directions. We met the host later in our stay and he was so kind and welcoming. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Thanks, MGO!

The rooms are also beautiful with a quaint, cozy feel. Our view outside our window was gorgeous. Although it wasn't the ocean view, we had beautiful views of the garden and greenery. The hotel was also very clean and well maintained. There were a few cats that would roam around but my favorite in particular was this black cat with brown stripes that would occasionally hang out on the balcony. It was a beautiful cat and was super friendly and is very polite and didnt disturb us at all! He even let me pet him :) overall our stay was everything we wanted. Thank you from tyler and deb!

One thing we appreciated was that the resort never felt crowded, even though it was clearly busy. The underground parking was convenient, and there were several historical sites and additional restaurants within walking distance. There are also multiple beaches accessible right from the property. We had the opportunity to meet the executive chef, who shared some exciting plans for the future of the resort. While some building updates were taking place during our stay, we found the construction minimally disruptive. Overall, this is a high-quality resort that delivered a memorable experience for our group. In fact, we're already talking about returning when we gather again in a few years.

Not kidding you, when we pulled up to Valet our car, the lady came and opened my wife's door on the passenger side and said, "What are you here for?" Immediately. No "Hey! Welcome." nothing. Super rude demeaner in general. Moving onto the amenities, they are transitioning from the Montage managing the property to now Marriott. Someone in Marriott decided in their infinite wisdom to make the transition happen over a week. This was a disaster. Pools and grounds seriously understaffed and dirty. The spa couldn't take appointments because they couldn't tell you when they were booked because of their system being down. You couldn't room charge anything because of the same system, so you had to make sure you had a CC everywhere you went and keep the receipt if you get room credits. The room service food was ok but constantly got our orders wrong or missed things. We had 1 really great waitress that delivered food to our room. Talked to 5 other couples down at the pool and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them said exactly the same thing. Terrible service, terrible experience, nice view just wish it was an actual 5* resort like it claims. They offered to comp our parking. For reference I paid $3800 a night for my room. This place is a joke, save your money and book the Ritz or stay in Wailea at the Fairmont or 4 Seasons.
