I stayed at Napili Point B44 from September 14-21, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Every evening I sat back and watched the most breathtaking sunsets right from the property -- something I will always remember. Just steps away is a small beach where sea turtles swim peacefully, and in only a five-minute walk you can reach a beautiful sandy beach, perfect for a morning swim. The entire property is spotless, quiet, and so well cared for that it immediately makes you feel at ease. The condo itself had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was excellent and made it easy to enjoy meals "at home" while still feeling like I was on vacation. We stayed here for 7 days and let me tell you!!! This resort is stunning! We were able to watch beautiful sunsets each night. we booked a 2 bed 2 bath condo thru booking, com. it came fully stocked with everything you could think of. there's multiple pools and grills. its mostly quiet. we had 4 adults and 2 children. Our unit in particular did not have tubs just showers which may not be suitable for families with littles. It has a washer and dryer which is great for all of the beach and pool days. the unit was nice and clean. our patio was facing the water and the chairs were comfy. The pool is elevated so you can be in the pool overlooking the water watching the sunset. The location is really what sells this resort. Its walking distance to Napili Beach and close to the shopping center that has a market good eateries. We'd stay here again. read more

Really hard to beat the views and the little location. Sitting on the beach in Napili, those blessed with an ocean view condo get to peer out their window and see a lovely bay that offers amazing snorkeling, then gaze to the right for an ocean view with picture worthy sunsets. Below also sits lava rock where the waves provide a soundtrack to your stay and just a short walk to a gorgeous sand beach. These places are all privately owned. Some are owner occupied but most are rented out. The facility is run like a hotel for about half of rental units while some are offered on sites like VRBO. It's actually cheaper to just call the front desk and book through them. You have a choice of one or two bedroom places and most offer ocean views. We were able to get two of the two BR places a couple of deeper down from each other for our two families. We had an upper loft with a king bed and private bath and the downstairs had another bedroom and a fold out sofa in the main room. Fully furnished with dishes, cooking tools, towels and linens. It made it so much more affordable to buy groceries from Costco, fill in at the local Napili market and splurge on the occasional meal outside. Maid service is cut back to twice per week due to Covid but we loved every bit of our stay. read more

We booked our 3rd stay at Napili Point once again through Donna Bender of MauiCalls. Napili Point has everything we look for when we come to Maui: it's quiet, has wonderful snorkeling literally right outside your door, helpful and kind staff, kitchen with amenities, view....and some of the best prices on the island for ocean front properties with kitchens. We were in a 1 BR + loft unit on the second floor in Napili. This was needed due to our group arrangements (two teen boys, two adults). The boys slept in the twin beds in our back bedroom, we slept upstairs in the loft with a gorgeous view out onto Honokeana Cove. We could watch sunsets from our balcony and it was an easy walk to the barbecues on the grass area of the lower levels or to the pool(s). We've also stayed in the lower 1br units and they're equally perfect. Donna will help you figure out what you need and get it all booked for you. We rented snorkel gear for the week at the shop in the parking lot next door, which makes it so easy for returns when you're done. Their prices seem comparable to the other chains on the island and they were really helpful in picking out the best size fins for my in-between feet. I highly recommend getting a float belt so you can just float without even thinking about it while snorkeling. We went out in the bay at least three times a day to swim with turtles, fish, octopus, eels...just amazing. Be sure to use the defog that the shop gives you with your rental! We stock up on groceries at costco and the market and then cook almost all our meals in the condo. The kitchen is well stocked with every utensil we would've wanted (except maybe a digital meat thermometer for the time we grilled steaks!) If you do like to eat out, Napili Point is located close to lots of great spots... The beds in our unit were really comfortable, the towels nice and fluffy, the furniture is tasteful and clean and the unit was well-updated. All in all, another perfect stay. All in all our favorite spot on Maui. We have been coming here for years. We love Napili beach and Honokeana Cove. we have only had one incident in which we were forced to request that we be put into a different condo, due to the rundown nature of the unit. most units are in tiptop shape, Some are fancier than others, but almost all of them are perfect for our well-traveled family. We are not self-described as overly-bougie, but we do require a good location, cleanliness, comfort, and a decent level of updated style. It is wonderful to have such a great location near so many fun activities and beaches. There is tons to do and it is much cheaper buying groceries from the local market and our own dinner, to be enjoyed out on our patio near the breaking waves as the sun sets. I would live here if I could afford to. It's actually quite reasonable compared to many spots on Maui. I wouldn't trade it for the world. read more

Donna Bender of MauiCalls booked our family into a 2 bedroom condo at Napili Point Resort. It was a perfect location. Very quiet and the view was spectacular. We typically are a family "on the move" but the view was so beautiful and it was so tranquil, that there was one day that we spent on the lanai just watching turtles and surfers. It's ok. Close to the beach. This place is not clean. The towels in the kitchen smells like shit. Counter tops are not wiped down. The dishes are dirty. Stay anywhere but here in Napili. There is a complete Lack of maintenance of the facility. I have been coming to Napili for 20 years and have never seen such a dilapidated resort. It is so sad because it used to be in good shape. The inside of the units are not any better taken care of, many things are falling apart and the cleaning is disgusting... for example, we found a lot of sand in the middle of the futon when we opened it. There are too many problems here, and too many nice places to choose from. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. read more

This is a beautiful spot, great view, great sun sets. However the the after we checked in they started a demo of the unit next door. It is the seventh day of our stay and the constant hammering, noise from power tools and a jack hammer has been overwhelming. We can't stay in the condo during the day because of the noise. Only comment from the office ; "it's not a managed unit". The people next to us left complaining to verbo demanding compensation. Don't know how that worked. Other issues air conditioner in bed room cycles on and off every two minutes, it is noisy as well so we had to turn it off at night. Other issues, drier vent hose disconnected, just exhausting hot air into the hall way, kitchen set up sparse and toaster does not work. We love the area, watch the turtles in the bay and the sunsets are great. We have been here before and enjoy the place but have been disappointed this stay. read more

I started going to Napili Point back in 1983 before I can remember. My family visited Maui several times a year before finally moving to Maui in 1993. Once we moved to Maui, we didn't have too much need to come to Napili Point except for a yearly staycation. Then my parents left Maui in 2008. ='( After we moved away from Maui, I'd sometimes come back and visit. I liked to stay at Napili Point. The condos are furnished, they have free WiFi, the views are spectacular. The reason for the deducted star is not every unit has an a/c. Now, my most recent trip was in November which is a very pleasant time on Maui. The weather usually isn't too hot, so I left windows open and let the trades cool the condo. I rented a 2br/2ba loft "C" unit (C units are upstairs). I also brought my parents with me. The unit we are in didn't have an a/c. I can definitely see it being an issue in the summer, and I would've preferred one in the unit. The grounds of Napili Point are well maintained and pretty. There is access to Napili Bay by walking along the tide pools. Honokeana cove is usually calm and a great place to snorkel. Be careful when turns a big swell. There are two pools and no Jacuzzi. This is because the philosophy is when you're visiting Hawai'i you should spend time in the ocean! I agree, and I'll do both. I do like that the deep end of the pool is 6' deep. read more

Each unit is separately owned, so the condition of the unit depends on how well the owners take care of it. A-23 has been completely remodeled and upgraded, and is absolutely beautiful! This unit has an air-conditioning unit that is super quiet!...No more waking up at night because the air-conditioner kicked on. There are two flat screen TV's and all brand new appliances, and has a washer & dryer for an extended stay. It is close to one of the pools and one of the BBQ's. The side walls are concrete so you don't hear your side neighbors at all. You can hear the sound of the waves crashing while you sleep at night. I just love having a cup of coffee early in the morning on the lanai, while watching the waves crash on Turtle Bay. This resort is right in front of a turtle bay. There has never been a day that I don't see turtles when snorkeling. This resort borders the beautiful Napili Beach which is just a quick 4-5 minute walk down the winding beach path. There's also the famous Gazebo Restaurant next door but expect a long line for breakfast, and the Sea House Restaurant that is right on Napili Beach. The local beach rental shop next door has great rental prices. The staff at this resort is super friendly and accommodating. read more

Our family booked four 1-bedroom condos at Napili Point Resort through Donna Bender of MauiCalls. This was a perfect location for our family's vacation! There were 12 of us and our ages ranged from a baby of 14 months to an experienced earthling of 71 years. These condos were perfectly suited for ALL of us! The four separate one-bedroom condos allowed each individual family their own space, but the close proximity provided for a terrific family experience. The location put us on a bay with superb snorkeling that allowed us to explore with sea turtles each day. The grounds also had convenient parking and barbecue areas perfect for family meals! Nearby restaurants and other amenities made it easy to find excellent meals and ideal family activities, such as snorkeling and kayaking. Oh, Napili... you make a perfect 500th review because I love you and can't wait to go back! Napili is right near the fancier Kapalua but you can rent a fairly large condo for a pretty reasonable price. Then, you can still enjoy the golf courses with views at Kapalua. When I was younger, my family would enjoy Maui vacations in three-bedroom, two-story, Napili Point condos. The pool is very nice and there are tons of geckos and frogs on the premises. It's a short trek to the beach from most of the condos but nothing bad. The condos have great kitchens, nice decor, and a great lay-out. It's been too long and I'm ready to go back! read more

We've stayed here twice now and we will keep coming back as long as we can! I feel conflicted in writing this because it is amazing here but it is definitely a hidden gem and I don't want to give it away too much! Lol In Oct 2016, we stayed in unit A12. Flying into Maui, we got stuck overnight during our connection in LAX. We called the front desk to let them know we wouldn't be arriving until the next morning. They graciously accommodated our delay and kept our reservation plus removed the night we missed (talk about going above and beyond)! In Oct 2018, we came back for our honeymoon and stayed in B16. Again an excellent stay! Highlights of this property... - Ocean view condos close to the water (you can't beat it!) and they're nice & quiet! - Quick & easy access to beach(just north of the property) and easy access to snorkeling (on property or at the north beach). There are a good number of green sea turtles that frequent this bay & it is fun to be able to snorkel with them. - Each condo is individually owned and designed but clean. They've all got character and a homey feel to them which is great! - Each unit has some kind of kitchen which is a plus. It's great having the option to prepare some of your own meals. There is also access to communal propane BBQs if you want to grill. - Two pools available in case you want them for any reason! We used them one day due to safety concerns with strong currents & a high surf advisory on the beach. We used them again another day when we wanted to lay out for a short time prior to attending another event. - Ample parking (and no extra fee for it!). - Close drive to Lahaina & Ka'anapali for activities you can't find here. There is no better snorkeling than there is right in front in a practically private cove. Go right ahead and pay $200 for a trip to molokini...you won't be bumping into sea turtles like you will out front of Napili. There are tide pools right out front and a beach just a few steps down the path. You'll wake up to the sound of waves crashing since there is nothing between you and the ocean. To the person whining about the pool..you're on MAUI...2 minutes away from THE BEACH...at a mellow CONDO RESORT. If you want a fancy pool then go stay at some sterile overpriced high rise where you'll have a view of the parking lot. The places are maintained by the owners of the condos...so the decor inside will vary. Do your research ahead of time and request a specific condo. Lots of condos even have their own websites. read more

Great place to stay for snorkeling. Beautiful small bay with tons of turtles and easy access to the water (in and out). The condos are in good condition but not great - so if you want "luxury" go down the street to the Ritz. For us, a quality, clean and safe place was more important the concierge frankly and this was perfect for our family. The staff are friendly and helpful - just not a ton of services being offered here outside of daily cleaning services. If you are in to the outdoors and lower frills this is def. the place for you. We are coming back for our third year next year for sure. read more

The coolest thing I remember about this place is the loft style "bedroom". The loft is above the living room. Your bed faces this two story window with a spectacular view of the bay. Imagine waking up every morning with the ocean pretty much in your face...only w/o the sand in your shorts. Quiet and generally clean. (I went quite a few years ago, though.) We just wanted something easy. We are divers and this was to be a quick trip. We found the perfect place in Napili (thanks to my yelp friend Megan). A little one bedroom, all the comforts of home sitting atop the greatest little snorkeling bay complete with turtles. Yes, a little herd of turtles, a flock of eagle rays and a few eels for good measure live right outside the patio slider. Just a few rocks to climb down and you are in a some lovely water. Great basic place! Good way to be able to cook and keep the food costs down. Great location to wake up and go snorkeling with the turtles in the bay you are looking at. No joke one morning we counted at least 15 turtles. A little rough getting in and out of the water. But what more can you ask for being able to walk 200 yards from your door to see what you sometimes have drive to. The amenities are defiantly good. Not high end but good enough for what you pay. The real thing that makes this place is being able to snorkel at a great location right outside your door!! read more

We honestly couldn't have pictured a better place to stay in Maui! Our second story loft bedroom overlooked a 2 story window with a view of the bay and of the island of Lanai in the distance. I imagine the decor is dependent on the owners tast but ours was awesome. All new kenmore elite appliances, modern furniture, and everything we could need for a week long stay. We were in unit C16 and the owner, Ann, was the perfect host. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quieter more romantic stay in west Maui without being packed in to a more cramped touristy hotel or resort. read more

I've been staying at Napili Point for years and have loved it every time. I couldn't imagine staying in a big crowded maze of a hotel while on vacation in Maui. Napili Point has one of the best stretches of shoreline as it sits on a cove that serves as a turtle sleeping and hangout area. I will say that the assortment of fish, and the quality of coral and plantlife in the cove has greatly diminished over the years; where people go, nature tends not to fare well. Stay away from unit C23. Furniture is stained and amenities are in bad shape i.e. Sink stopper wouldn't work, oven door came lose in the middle of cooking, drawers don't open and close properly, fan switch can't be adjusted, fan light went out, etc. Maintenance couldn't even fix majority of the problems. The most aggravating thing is manager Rod took our complaints with an attitude and her office staff was extremely rude when I expressed concerns over the problems. We were finally offered another unit but we have two little kids and had a ton of luggage. It was not worth switching for the remaining days. read more

Stay here if you must but it is imperative that when you check out you inspect the rooms very carefully for damage in the presence of a staff member. Get the results of the inspection in writing. I am reluctant to write this review since it will disclose a great secret. Napili Point Resort, just below the Kapalua area, is on a lava bluff surrounded by a private cove (with numerous turtles if you snorkel), and Napili Beach. (Honokeana Bay) The restaurants are the Gazebo and, after a walk along Napili Beach, the Sea House. We stayed here for a week beginning on December 4. If you want to stay at a place where you delight in reserving pool chairs, paying $600/night for a room, waking through a 20-foot high ceiling lobby with marble or travertine floors, being around signature art, and celebrity chef restaurants, being seen in your latest high fashion outfits, swimming in artificial landscaped pools with waterfalls, or having a marble tiled bathroom, or paying a premium price for a mountain view, and keeping the hoi polloi away, this is not the place for you. However, if you like having a condo so close to the ocean you can see and hear the waves breaking on the shore, and with a very helpful, friendly staff, this is the place. The rooms range from one bedroom with a large living room, to two bedrooms with an upstairs loft. Our room also had a compact washer/dryer. All the rooms have a lanai with a table and lounge chair. The resort has a feel of Hawaii in the 60's, before development of resort complexes such as Kaanapali or Wailea. The condos are fully equipped kitchens, high-speed Internet access, and full maid service every three days with towels changed daily if you wish. The one thing we wish had changed (and it may be a function of the one bedroom) is that the bathroom was quite small, and a shower (with shower heads on both walls), not a bath tub. Our flight here was delayed, so we arrived here late at night after the office had closed. The manager had left our key with the security guard, who walked us to our room. We will be back. read more
