After only leaving a voicemail, they had already picked up my art from the lost and found office and kept it ready awaiting my further instructions. I've used their USPS mailing and the important documents went out quickly and correctly. Notary service is available for hours far beyond availability at new UPS location in Kahului (which has good service, tho not as good as Maui P&S). Notary Public was polite, helpful, informative, patient. For mailboxes might be a good option for someone central tho I don't know anything about after-hours availability. Would look into them as an option if I needed a mailbox bc customer service is so outstanding. Strongly recommend this business. read more

These guys (Danny & Abel) seemed very nice to begin with but they totally ripped us off! Initially we were told an APPROXIMATION of what a box, size and weight would cost. We initially felt we would have 12 small, 4 Med, 2 or 3 Lamp size and 2 Large boxes, etc.to total 21. After approximating total weights Danny said IF it was 387 Lbs x 2.95=$1,141. Or that 500 Lbs x $2.55= $1,275. So, the larger the weights/dimentions the less the charge is. Danny also said they wouldn't know for sure until they completed everything being weights and measurements. He coincidently was going on vacay and would return 5/18/23 the week before we were moving off island. Abel picked up boxes instead of him and made 2 trips due to his small van. He didn't even bring a cart to load with. We had told them before the pick-up we had 34 boxes instead (We packed!). They were to pack our Artwork 2 large pieces and 3 metal pic's, a couple Fossils. Since we ended up with 13 more boxes, we thought at most it would be $2500 to $3,000. They tried to charge us $9,612.16! Unbelievable! After spending hours on the phone and pricing out how we could still get our belonging's, they coincidently came down in price to what it would cost us to have a mover pick up boxes at their office, put in U-Haul Cube across the street and ship which was $5,783.47. Abel also pointed out since my Mover couldn't come until 4 days later that they would need to charge us rent for it remaining in their office. I didn't ask how much but at that point, I wouldn't doubt it would be robbery too. Initially Danny said it was NO problem to keep our things in their new larger shop, they would have it in their back room until shipped. We went to their office twice attempting to get final pricing, for some reason they had ALL of our boxes in the front of their office, not in back room. Why? It wouldn't have been hard for a customer to take any when their back was turned. Just not a safe situation in our viewpoint. When I said they were holding our things hostage Abel became very sarcastic, but it was the truth. We were stuck in a no-win situation. We had to pay in order to get our belongings. They still wouldn't send everything, so we lost a one-of-a-kind coat rack from Cannon Beach OR gallery. A limited-edition metal art piece, 2 granite carousels and an antique ironing board. We ended up having neighbors retrieve those items but they had to be sent to Rainbow Attic=loss to us. It was extremely upsetting finding out after we've moved to the mainland their refusal to ship those items! For the price they tried to charge $9,612.16 we could have rented a 20 Ft Container and shipped our entire condo including our motorcycle. Keep in mind I packed 34 of the 46 boxes. Abel stated their packing cost for Artwork and the re-topping of one large box was $800 (crazy), that was doing 12 boxes? Keep in mind those 12 boxes included the FOUR which was the Coat Rack, Antique Iron Board (heirloom), Granite Lazy Susans & Celestial Metal Art Limited Edition Picture they refused to mail and that are IRREPLACEABLE! So, $800 for 8 boxes? Something terribly wrong with that. Abel had said they REPACKED one of our boxes and that was not appropriate! They actually repacked more than that. Without asking in anyway. How would you like them going through your personal belongings? If the Coat rack and Iron Board weren't acceptable to be shipped that should have been mentioned upon picking up our items or one of the next two times, we went into their office attempting to get our Total Cost. It's not OK to have people go through your belongings without permission! Once we received our shipment we realized they repacked one box into probably 4 and they weren't even full. Packed a kite in a huge box rather than put it in the large Artwork box. They were filled with unneeded packing paper etc. Why? Maybe they make more money that way. Who knows but our advice is to get EVERYTHING in writing from them, don't trust them to do any PACKING OR SHIPPING when moving. We feel they used more packing supplies and extra boxing than was needed just to increase their pricing/charges. I don't think they even deserve this one star. It's just not nice to knowingly rip off customers like this. In our opinion, that's exactly what they did. We not only were ripped off by thousands of dollars we weren't able to get ALL of our belongings either and lost those one-of-a-kind, irreplaceable items. read more

Another story after TSA called me back and identify my iPad was mine they referred me to Maui pac and ship I left a message they returned my call they were so professional and nice and gave me. Excellent price. They packed the IPad up at the Maui airport and packed it so well that it was packed better than when it was shipped to me new. Been going here for years now to ship out everything from letters to large packages. They will pack your items for you in a secure and careful manner. If you bring in your own box they will cut it down for you to save you on some shipping costs. One thing to note is that there are only 2 workers at most during the day so if there is a line of people and you're in a rush, you may just have to be patient or come back later.
