I had to get a large piece of art from Makawao to the westside. The artist recommended Alan. What a great recommendation! Alan was fair with his price, as most of it would be a couple hours of just travel time. They picked it up when promised and then they installed a pretty big piece on my wall. They took great care as it could have been easily damaged. They also took great care covering my furniture while they drilled into concrete, and vacuumed afterward. There's a certain point in your life where find your buying Pizza for your friends borrowing and somebody's pickup truck just don't do it for a move anymore. Luckily for my partner and I we had the opportunity to meet Allen and his moving Crew. I would actually say we had a fairly difficult move with a range of furniture boxes and clothing. Allen and his crew were on time and prepared to get to work he was kind enough to check if we had adequate moving supplies before we started which was a nice touch key box everything in the truck he brought quite efficiently and at our new location the guys had to walk up a full flight of stairs in a warmer Summer afternoon they didn't complain and they maintain their professional composure. No moves are perfect a few items did not fit in the truck that we're going to have it out figure how to move the items that were left behind. I would say they were professional and it was a low stress move. I would recommend using them. read more

Alan and his team are entirely professional. The rate is more than competitive, as Alan offered a lower rate than any other local mover I contacted (four at a conservative estimate). They were punctual, polite, friendly, and careful of my belongings. Mine was a small local move of a one bedroom apartment to a one bedroom 'ohana about eight miles away. It was completed in about three hours. They even offered to help me move things from my own car into the house beyond the three hour limit, after the clock had stopped and they had already been paid. The BEST moving company we've ever used! Professional, efficient and punctual. Moving is already a stressful time and Alan was so easy to work with. From scheduling the move to the day of the move! His crew was polite, strong and quick! We have young children and his crew made them laugh and reassured them that their boxes would be safe. They didn't just throw boxes in the truck, everything was so neatly organized (Tetris if you will) and they covered specific furniture to prevent scratches. Once we got to the new house, they made sure to move the furniture where we wanted and brought the boxes to the right rooms. Terrible experience. Alan's crew was a joke and clearly were not professional movers. One was tiny with a shoulder injury, one was over an hour and 15 min late and had a terrible attitude and one was nice but slow as molasses. Alan was unable to direct or manage his crew. At one point my belongings which were being transferred from a Matson container to a storage unit were strewn and unsupervised in four different locations including being left unattended in an elevator, in the parking lot and storage unit hallways. Alan showed up almost 45 minutes late as did his crew. He attempted to charge me nearly $1000 for 3 hours of work. He became very angry when I asked him to break down the charges and to put them on an invoice. Totally unprofessional nightmare experience. My girlfriend and I ended up doing much of the work ourselves as his crew was often unsupervised and disappeared for long periods of time. read more

I had to move my belongings from Maui to the East Coast on the mainland and Alan was absolutely instrumental in packing my belongings and coordinating all the details from storing the boxes till shipment. Then he took care of crating the boxes and transporting everything to the dock. He researched the freight options for transporting my shipment from California to the East Coast and presented me with my options and the different costs.
