We came here for some zen and wine tasting and the wine tasting flights were soooooo affordable; 4 glasses of different wine for $26 is unheard of; they were all pretty good but not the best ive had we also got a glass of SPLASH pineapple wine for $8 which was surprisingly really good; the server did a great job explaining the menu and giving us recommendations; i was expecting it to be like dessert wine which would be overly sweet but this was quite light and smooth; the alcohol content was pretty strong too Good vibes sitting at the porch; would recommend drinking here first then driving up into the clouds to watch the sunset IG: @nom.noms.only

I love pineapples and at Maui Wine is all about pineapples! We came here to sample the Crown of Fruits made from 100% Maui Gold pineapples grown in Hali'maile. The Three 2 oz Tasting Carafes are Hula o Maui Sparkling Pineapple brut, Maui Blanc Pineapple semi-dry, Maui Splash Pineapple sweet liliko'i. They were refreshingly delicious! I should also add the non-alcoholic Liliko'i Sunrise made with sugarcane, Dane pineapple, liliko'i syrup and sparkling water. It was refreshingly nice. The place is so lush and beautiful to wander around. There are interesting photos from bygone times to see and learn from its past. Service is superb.

I'm so glad we decided to check out Maui Wine this last time we were on Maui. Located in Upcountry, we stopped by after a drive up to Haleakala. The grounds are beautiful with several different seating areas surrounded by large mature trees. It was a cool and slightly cloudy day when we were there. It was a nice break from the hot muggy climate in the Kaanapali area. We were seated at one of those high tables on an outside patio area. Then, you order your wine or snacks at the tasting counter. Patio seating areas allow you to take in the lovely ambience of the property. I was nicely surprised to find some very good reds. I liked their 2022 GSM the best. Mele, a red blend was also good, a lighter red than the GSM. We later found Mele in local markets, making it an easy choice of a bottle of wine to buy and take back to enjoy at our hotel. Maui Wine will definitely be on my list for the next time we return to Maui.

Exotic location in the backcountry of Maui far from the airport and 1 hour drive from our timeshare in Kihei. Beautiful setting with fully landscaped vegetation surrounding a restaurant. Our guide made reservations well in advance $12 for a flight of three pineapple tasting which is very reasonable. Love pineapple juice but pineapple wine? $10 for goat cheese topped with pineapple wine syrup served with crackers.$9 for jalapeno pineapple kettle corn. No outside food permitted just like in the movie theaters. However these prices far exceed any food I've seen in the movie theaters . Excellent ambience decent service and overpriced food even for Maui. Our tour guide liked it so much she bought a case of Maui wine!

I always love to visit Maui Wine when in town. They make a delicious Maui Blanc wine that is so refreshing and tasty for the summer. I enjoy the hint of pineapple for the after taste. When came back this visit to get a few jars of the Rosé Gold Guava Jam. It is so good on a charcuterie board filled with grapes, salami and crackers. The grounds of Maui Wine are always impeccably maintained and the employees are always welcoming and kind. Check them out whenever you come to Maui. Aloha

Beautiful grounds with tons of history. King David Kalakaua and Queen Kapiolani spent a lot of time here and the tasting room is now in their cottage. There are beautiful old trees and many fragrant flowers on the property. You can take a tour or the have a self guided option. The wine is fragrant and sweet. They have some brut styles as well that are sure to tickle your tongue! Worth a visit if you're in the area!

Came here after visiting the vodka farm! It was a beautiful place to see. So much to look at. We made reservations at 1 and we were a little late but the winery was great at accommodating us. (Sorry for our inconvenience) we did not try the food but we saw some of the food that was coming out and it looked amazing! The wine was good. The pineapple wine was my favorite

Seeing that pineapple wines are offered at Maui Wine, we decided we wanted to take a drive to Kula and give 'em a try. I must say I'm glad we did. Tastings are done a little differently than I'm accustomed to, albeit it's been some time since I've gone wine tasting. Here, they offer a seated tasting. We were seated at a table on the oversized porch, overlooking the beautifully manicured grounds with the ocean in the background. We opted for the pineapple flight (Hula o Maui, Maui Blanc, and Maui Splash) along with an order of Brie happy; cheese, rose-guava jam, sweet peppers, and mixed nuts served with crackers. The wine was quite different but quite good. I picked up a couple bottles to take home. It was definitely worth a visit; we had a good time.

The Hula O'Maui is such a special wine; it is made from pineapple ! Something you would only find in Hawaii hence why this is a unique stop... the reds weren't my favorite and the food options were good but not great.

After a visit to Haleakala National Park, we drove the backroads to Maui Wine. Located in the Upcountry, it is a stunning drive and it takes you away from the tourist spots on Maui. We were seated on the patio overlooking the scenery of Maui. We ordered a small plate with creamy Brie cheese, rose guava jam, crackers, nuts and sweet red peppers. Mr. B chose the Rose tasting of 3 wines, and I did the pineapple wines tasting. You may be thinking that pineapple wines sound gimmicky or cheesy, but they are actually delicious, refreshing and quite complex. We chilled on the porch, sipped our wines, enjoyed our snacks and just relaxed never wanting to leave. The Rose wines were quite nice, but I have to go with the pineapple. Our favorites were the Maui Blanc and Hula O Maui Pineapple Sparkling Wine. The service was friendly, helpful, informative and excellent. We stopped in to the little shop, bought our two bottles and a bottle of the rose guava jam that was on our board, it is a taste of the islands and delicious. We were sad to leave, as this is one of our favorite spots to visit on Maui. Make it a go to the next time you are in Maui, you will love it.

This is such a cool spot in upcountry. But let's not mess around, these 5 stars go to one thing: the rosé guava jam. I was given this as a gift once, and have been dreaming about it since. You can imagine my utter glee when we went back, and saw that they still had it. Served alongside Brie and some nuts as a dish, we ordered that and some of the truffle potato chips for snacking. And then I proceed to buy two jars to take home. Between our family, I think we cleared the shelf of the guava jam. And id do it again. I am a jam connoisseur, unprofessionally, and this is the BEST jam ever. On to the wine, it's fine. The Grenache was not it. I finished it last. That being said, I live in a place with some of the best wine in the country, so my expectations elsewhere are never high. The Malbec was good, the GSM was good. I wish I would have tried a pineapple wine flight! This place is 100% vibes. Upcountry, sweeping lands, watching clouds roll in off the mountain. You're sitting on this little patio of the historic house. It's an excellent spot to come if you find yourself in upcountry! Buy the jam.

We just finished the Talk Story tasting of their red wines which were all excellent. We usually go to Europe on vacation and enjoy wines there but these were all good. Compliment. The Havana Brie food plate was enough to share for two people for lunch. Our server, Noelle, was informed about the wines and the winery's history. Two thumbs up here.

The pineapple wine I was expecting not to like but it was drier and more complex than I imagined it would be.

Eddie did a thorough job of making sure everyone was safe and how to navigate the roads on the bike. While we still highly recommend this activity, there were a few things that fell a bit short. With such an early start, the drive seemed to move slow with a few slow rolling stops to point out deer or a landmark. Sadly, the morning glow started and we had not yet reached the summit. Ultimately we parked and had only a few minutes to use the bathroom and get in place to watch the sunrise then boom back in the van. So that was roughly 2 hours driving in the van for less than 30 minutes at the summit. It was very rushed. It would have been nice to gotten there about 20 minutes sooner to watch the glow start. Dress in layers. There was a quick photo op on the drive down but no stop at the visitors center. The bike ride down. It was convenient to be able to leave a bag in the van with the layers of clothes and jackets no longer needed. We enjoyed the self guided having the chance to stop at our leisure and take photos. It is definitely a braking ride and be smart to use them. The fact that the law prohibits biking through Kula meant we had to stop, load the bikes, get back on the van and jump over the town. That takes a away a significant chunk of the ride. A nice stop in Makawao for coffee and a bite to eat. Having done this ride before the law made for a disappointing comparison. I would recommend this activity, however I'm not likely to do it again until the change the law to ride through Kula and arrive to the summit a few minutes earlier.
