Ahi Tuna sandwich, fries, buffalo flatbread

Such a wonderful experience, from the welcoming at the gift shop, the tour and education on how their spirits are made to the amazing lunch. This was a 20/10 experience! Alan, our tour guide and tasting bar tender, was so knowledgeable and had a fun personality. I was surprised at how much I liked some of the shots, not being a shot kinda gal. The vodka was my favorite, it has a unique mouth-feel and has now become my favorite brand of vodka. Now on to the dining experience... I ordered an ahi tuna sandwich and my husband ordered the buffalo flat bread with a side of fries. The sesame crusted ahi was so flavorful and melted in your mouth. The buffalo flatbread was the perfect balance of sauce, cheese and chicken. The view from outside is spectacular as well. Even if you're not a drinker, I highly recommend coming to eat and take in the beautiful upcountry views on the property, you won't be disappointed!

One of my favorite places to visit every time I'm on Maui! Ocean Vodka Organic Farm and Distillery is such a special spot. Sitting outside with incredible views of Maui is the perfect way to relax and take it all in. The atmosphere is unbeatable. You get beautiful surroundings, amazing cocktails, delicious food, and now live music every evening that makes the experience even better. This visit I had the chicken tacos and Green Harvest cocktail and they were both fantastic. They also offer a tasting tour if you're up for some vodka while learning about the local history. Overall, this place is pure Maui magic.

If you read farmbreads, what would you assume for it to be? My husband and our friends clearly don't read as many books (menus) as I do.

Great service from the beginning to end. Starting with making the reservations. I had to update and add people. Everytime I called someone was super helpful. It started raining when we got there but, we still had a great time. Alan told us all about the history, his favorite way to drink the drinks, and so much more in the 1 hour! Then we went to the cafe where Alisa helped us and was great. She put up with us. We aren't the most quiet group. The views would've been amazing if it was a clear day. Still got lots of photos and memories.

Go for the Sunset! Food/drinks bonus! Stumbled on this fantastic place! Yes you can purchase their distilled libations, which are excellent, but go for the setting, food, live music and incredible service! Adirondack chairs and picnic tables with incredible views and live music! The food in great too! We stayed for 4 hours just relaxing, enjoying the views, food and music?

Did a tasting here, staff was excellent and so knowledgeable and friendly. They gave a great story and even better product. The grounds were beautiful and the spirits were excellent. Would have liked to stay for lunch as it looks amazing but that will have to wait till next time.

We have loved visiting this business over the years but have not been in quite some time. Every time they have expanded, improved, and developed both their venue and product lines. Now they have a full fledged venue, larger parking lot, bigger staff, and newer entries to their distilled products beyond the quite special Ocean Vodka. I've recently discovered their Kula dark rum and it's fantastic. They have a store to buy these and of course merch, the newest entry is a tequila now. Such beautiful grounds and a huge land with one of the most inventive stages built out of a shipping container by a skilled welder and engineer. We were killing time on a Sunday evening before a late flight home and tripled on a great Hawaiian music act starting at the stage. Many families and groups amongst all the picnic tables, kids running around (good and bad with that of course....) and fantastic staff and servers. We started inside in the cafe with a great vodka martini and a mixed drink for her then moved out to the lawn where we ordered a fantastic mushroom flatbread. Go visit with family and friends whether you have a little time or a lot regardless of alcohol consumption and there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Great views, good service and decent food hit the spot here. Plus take a tour of the amazing farm while you are at it. If you're looking for something off the beaten path, away from the beach crowd, but still some amazing views...this could your place! Next time I might skip the pizza and just get a sharable, but the bar features some amazing options to sample the really good spirits!

Ocean Organic Farm & Distillery is an award-winning, 80-acre organic farm and distillery in Kula, Maui, founded in 2005 by the Smith family. Located on the slopes of Haleakalā, it produces USDA-certified organic vodka and spirits using sugar cane and deep ocean mineral water, featuring a visitor center, café, and daily tours. I visited and did a tour and tasting which was a lot of fun! Pro tip - pay the extra for the limited taproom only pours. While there I enjoyed: KULA Dark Rum Kula Coconut Rum Organic Rum Gin Barrel Aged Rum (BRUM) Blanco Tequila Tequila Anejo Tequila Reposada ___

John was an amazing tour guide, super fun and knowledgeable. Tour was as smooth as it could be. Food and drinks after the tour were also really good. Pizza came out warm and crispy, poke nachos great ratio and Caesar salad was nice. Gorgeous setting, lots of parking, live entertainment, would definitely come back again.

The manager Raul and his team were excellent in service from beginning to end. I really do like when the serving staff work as a team, and our table was checked at least 3 times during out meal. When I had moved outside to enjoy the view, I was checked in with, again. Raul explained the menu items and promoted the upcoming musical events at the Cafe/The Point. Nice. Food was above average and the pulled pork sandwich was excellent. The chile lime chicken tacos were too limey and tart for my preference. The tortilla chips looked to be homemade and their guacomole was delish. Burger was good, and I had mine with grilled pineapple and jalapeno. Our party shared Poke Nachos, which was a tasty cultural fusion which took the edge of our famished selves. The pesto flatbread was as expected. The bread itself was tender and chewy. Our Espresso martinis with a dash of vanilla as recommended by Raul made the otherise stout, bittersweet cocktail more approachable. Wonderful experience! We will definitely return again.

The food was delicious and so was the setting. Everything was beautiful, including the way the food was presented. The server in the cafe was very nice as well as those outside when we had dinner. Parking and bathrooms- check and check. The only con for me is the service was very slow. It would take 10-15+ minutes to place an order. The food took a long time to come out too. I think they just may have needed more servers. We would give it another try. The tasting experience may be better because it would have everything prepared. It's a beautiful space and the food/drinks were delicious when they arrived.

Plenty of parking Arrived just after lunch , no reservation. Only one couple were there before us. Pretty big area. Weren't interested in the tour, just wanted to grab a drink and enjoy the view. I got the Kula tai (the BRUM sounded good, but quite pricey $25. The bottle was $120 iirc !). which was tasty, but the "worst" of Mai tai on the trip. It's not a knock on OOF , I still enjoyed it. my wife got the local girl - POG with vodka. No shade by the tables, and it was very hot. so we got a chair and moved under the shade. Beautiful! The place was packed by the time we left. I could see the place getting loaded around sunset . And I'm sure the view of sunset would have been amazing. Good service, both of the two servers would check on us occasionally. Just finished our drinks and off we go.

Don't let the "Vodka" part discourage you. This is a family friendly space. Amazing sunsets, tasty finger foods/ pizza and yes, great cocktails. There is a whole section just for kids, where they can run around and play games. They serve mocktails and soft drinks in addition to beer, wine and spirits. There is a giant lawn to spread out on. Picnic tables are ample, chairs are provided but you can also bring a blanket or towel and spread out. Servers are abundant and will come to you. There is often live music and I believe entry is free unless there is a special event going on. My favorite drink is the Green Harvest. Like most things on Maui, it is a little pricey. Totally worth it IMO. I did a tour of the distillery way back when they first opened. Idk if that's still a thing but it was interesting and made me appreciate the drinks a little more. Aside from Vodka, they also make and serve their own rum. Worth the drive away from the congested areas of Maui.

They have the gin, vodka, and different rums. They have a custom still to extract the heart, their own fermentation tanks, and a small bottling line that can do 100 cases a day. It's a small operation but a good one. They use turbinado sugar which is now imported in and the pineapple from the farm across the street. You can smell all the components used to make the gin and also you can taste a hint of the pineapple used in the vodka. Overall, very good stuff. Two days before our tour, half our group had to fly to Oahu for emergency care. I called the farm right away. The phone rang and rang, with no voicemail option. I called over and over again on the day of the tour and still got nothing. When I finally explained things to the manager/owner in person, the response was ice cold. They showed no sympathy and offered no refund, credit or reschedule for 7 tickets we paid for and never used. All we got were excuses: "You should have called 24 hours in advance." We did. You didn't pick up. "We're having phone problems." So your phone problem is somehow our fault? "You should have messaged us on Instagram." Seriously? In a family emergency, nobody's first thought is to DM a goat farm. It somehow got worse. My 3-year-old dropped the truffle they hand out at the end of the tour, right in front of our guide. The guide asked what happened, I told her, and she just stared at me in silence. When I asked if my daughter could have another one, she hesitated and said, "We're not supposed to." Keep in mind this farm was holding onto money for 7 tickets we never used, and it still wouldn't spare a toddler one truffle. Another staff member finally stepped in and gave her one, which proves it was never a rule. It was just penny-pinching. Then there was the cheese. We bought 4 cheese flights and asked to take 2 home. One of the to-go boxes was so carelessly packed it looked like someone gave up halfway (photo attached). The cheese tastes good. Too bad the people selling it don't care about their customers. We had planned to place a large online cheese order. Not anymore. We won't be back, and I'll make a point of telling anyone heading to Maui to spend their time and money somewhere that treats families like people instead of transactions.

We learned how the pineapples are harvested and I have a newfound respect for the amount of work it takes to grow a single pineapple. We had a general idea of the stops we wanted to hit based on our research, but Chris went above and beyond to show us unique stops and views and scenic views. We made great memories and got to experience the road to Hana in a way that far exceeded our expectations. All though it was not the most affordable way to experience the road to Hana, we still felt it was worth the cost. It will be a great memory for us for years to come. I can now say I swam in a waterfall....a very cold one, but definitely worth it. Chris knows these roads and all the stops you might want to see, and he customized it to our level of adventure, including hikes and swims along the way. You can definitely find cheaper alternatives, but I would suggest speaking with Awapuhi Adventures to see if they can meet your needs. The pros of going private is that you are in the drivers seat (figuratively) for where and when to stop, and can skip anything that seems generic or not to your liking. The con is that it will cost some $$$. In our experience, it was worth it! Thanks again, Chris!

I've done the Road to Hana tour before, and had a great experience but it was on a bigger tour trip. We had an amazing tour guide that time, but I came this time with my FIANCÉ and his mom who have never been to Hawaii and I was afraid if we got a boring tour guide, it would be a LONG day. I started looking on Yelp in hopes it would help me narrow down the best of the best and that it absolutely did. I saw the raves about Willie and knew it was going to be worth every penny. Willie called me to talk about what we wanted to get out of our trip, and he also checked back in the day before to reiterate details about where to meet, etc. We told him we really wanted to see beautiful waterfalls and some cool secret, less touristy spots. We began our drive and Willie pulled off on this little beach, and said he wanted to show us something. We walked down, and there were sea turtles all over the beach which just made my MIL's day right off the bat. Then we went to the most delicious breakfast spot I have ever been to, hands down. All along the way, he told us about the areas we were driving through, the weather there, and gave us cool little tidbits of information. We went to the Garden of Eden where to my surprise, I got ENGAGED! Willie was so sweet and so happy for us, hugs all around. He truly made that moment, and the whole day really feel like we were with a friend we'd known forever. We went to the most amazing, secret waterfall and got to swim in the swimming hole and jump off rocks with no one else around! This was the absolute most beautiful spot I've ever been in my life and we never would've found it on our own or without Willie. I won't ruin all the surprises for you, but all I can say is I will never do another tour on Maui without him. Don't hesitate to book, just do it and don't go with any other company. He's truly the best!
