We visited Sy several times during our stay at the resort and each time, the servers are fast and friendly; tables and seating were clean; and the beverages were refreshingly perfect. Never thought I'd mention this but prices are reasonable considering its pricy exclusive Wailea. The beautiful Andaz Wailea Resort (a Hyatt collection) is perched 4 stories above sea level with tiered pools before ending on Wailea's Polo Beach and boardwalk. We had an opportunity to view their beachside suites a month back at a special event and are luxurious and spacious. And it's nice to enjoy dining during a cool Dec. sunset evening, but the sun goes down by 5:30 pm, so go a little earlier and use the valet parking.

We laughed and whooped so much our sides hurt and I was losing my voice :) In such an intimate setting the show really came to life and you could see, and feel part of, every facet of the spectacular show and watch the 1970's reappear, along with the BO competitors antics. Sexily hilarious Boylesque fencing, plus busty rhythmic gymnastics, rugby action attraction, a swinging Swede, horsing around Pink Ponies, dirty dancing, and a beautiful drag queen shi shi stilettoing through the theatre, it was non stop Olympic action and so entertaining. If you can grab tickets, go! They will be holding other shows throughout the year and tickets sell out quickly so go online and book them now as this is a small theatre. There is an intermission and you can run faster than a drag queen around the corner to the wine bar for a quickie cocktail before settling back into your seat for round II of the Olympics and more merriment and tassels! It was my first time at this theatre and it definitely won't be my last. Best night out in Maui! Many thanks to all the performers, folks behind the scenes, the front of house and everyone involved in making such a wonderful creation . They have lots of things, though. There was a yoga session happening in the middle lawn area. They have a butterfly area, even though the butterflies were somewhere else. There is an aging tortoise, I forget his name. There are also different businesses in the buildings, like a spa and a salon. There are different small vendors with their booths and several food trucks; although, some were not open in the morning and the Thai food truck had all their items sold out on their menu already. The prices were even more pricier than the food trucks at Maui Food Trucks. One vendor had hand crafted desserts for $20/piece! I admired from afar, haha. Everything is advertised as "farm to table" maybe justifying their prices. We shared an acai bowl and it was mid. The the peanut butter was just scraped on the side of the bowl. Our typical acai bowls at least put the peanut/almond butter in the middle like any other topping so you can get an even bite with everything. But the dallop of peanut butter just on the side, it was like we ordered peanut butter on the side of our acai bowl. It was weird. I bet it's more alive at night with more food trucks open and live music. We came and saw and didn't come back. I can see how it can be great for families with toddlers running around, giving them a safe space to burn their energy. Until then, this probably won't be the top of our list.

The area is lush with lots of plants and there a many vendors along the path where you can pick up a souvenir or gift to take home with you. The trucks offer a lot of different dishes to experience, my favorite being the one that sold Hawaiian plates, e.g. Kalua Pork and mac. It's a great place to stop by, relax and chill after a hard day of adventures. Surrounding parking is easy and plentiful. The area to the back of the lots has lots of parking space.

I made easy friendships with the patrons and got to hear gorgeous singers all night. Christine and T were the karaoke jockeys & they were spectacular!! We met Christine the first night and she carried the best vibes all night & T was such a doll, he gave gold stars to his favorite singers which was adorable. We stayed in Maui for a week & went at least 3x . Best night life by far. Anyway, next time I'm in Maui , I absolutely will be back at life's a beach.
