I came in to get highlights in my hair, expecting one of the professionals to help me out. After I get there, some random dude comes out who barely speaks English. Barely asks me questions about what I want, and barely talks about what he is going to do starts to do the cap thing on my head. He was extremely rough using the tool, stabbing my head very hard. After he finishes he finishes dying my hair, charges me $300 then when I ask how to maintain it he responds "I trust you will make the right decisions"... like no I know nothing about this, this was my first time. Then a couple hours later, when it drys, I look at it and it looks TERRIBLE. The sides of my head looked like I had cheetah print and the top was VERY orange. After I realize. I go back in a couple days later. After having to take time off of work because of how bad it looked and how anxious it made me. They agreed that it looked terrible and they told me that they would fix it free of charge.... They schedule me for the next day and I come in, then as they start they say "btw we are going to charge you $150 for this". They said this AFTER they started and told me they'd fix it for free. Then I asked why it wasn't free anymore and they ignored the question and walked away. When I went to the register they gave me a product to buy and told me I had to pay and when I asked why it wasn't free anymore again, they said because a different person fixed it. Which made no sense because they scheduled me with her and said it would be free to fix. Again, normally I don't leave reviews. Look at my profile for proof. This was such an incredibly terrible experience, save your money and your mental health and go somewhere else.

When she finished it was nothing like the picture I showed her. My color was too dark and my highlights were streaky and uneven. When I called her back to see what she could do to fix it she told me that she was going to charge me more money to fix it. I told her forget it ill go somewhere else. My hair is growing out from a pixie cut I got the year before, and I wanted to keep some of that length. I'm more alternative, so I requested my layers to be a little bit shorter than the photo I showed. My stylist had another client waiting, so she was already 30 minutes late. She had somebody else wash me and by the time I was taken back she still wasn't done with her other client. She took all of 15 minutes to cut my hair, obviously rushing, so she could get back to her other client. Not only is the hair cut significantly shorter than what I asked for, but it's also uneven and sloppy. My layers are very blunt instead of textured, like the picture showed, and my stylist didn't talk to me at all through out the service. At the end, she told me that she "wished she had time to style me" and sent me out the door without any kind of styling tips/ advice. I've been to rowdy more times than I can count and I have never felt so unwelcome. I've had all kinds of haircuts, and colors with all different kinds of stylists and it's never been like this before. For a $75 dollar hair cut I expected so much better. I love supporting small businesses, but after that treatment I can't see myself going back to Rowdy.
