Big, quintessential Chicagoans with a south side accent and heartfelt knowledge. Between all of them, they might know the entire history of the automotive world. Can't imagine they'll know it for long though, given the intense smell of paint throughout the store! :) I went there to pick up a pint of touch up paint for a vintage car. I walked out with way more knowledge about how to apply it than I asked for. They really seem to care almost to a fault: I was gonna hear what they had to say whether or not I wanted to hear it. I'm usually swapping out brake pads since they have a lifetime warranty. I tried swapping out my old rotors for new ones, but I lost the warranty on those of course. No worries, because they "recycle" my old rotors. The only complaint that I have about swapping out the brake pads is that you have to take the old brake pads off first, and drive up there and exchange them. I've learned to buy an extra pair. It saves me the hassle of driving back and forth.
