I've been in the Valley for 12 yrs and I ride a motorcycle which always includes food. Nobody that I've ever ridden w out here has mentioned Spurs Cafe. Other joints have been talked about and are/were very good, but I found myself looking for another option. My first visit to SC was last Monday and it was TERRIFIC! Daisy was our server and had a great smile every time she stopped by. I thought the Spicy Bowl for bfast was excellent! I especially enjoyed the gravy and hash browns. My wingman enjoyed his spicy Breakfast Burrito. Great service, tasty food, western decor and comfortable atmosphere. Looking forward to eating there again. read more

Impressed by the quality of food, service, and how homely it felt. The decor features a lot of old timey artwork as seen in one of the pics I took, really adds to the old school home-y feel. This place also seemed like there were plenty of regulars because the staff interacted with everyone very personably, especially those with little children. I almost felt out of place eating here alone, but the service and food were superb, so awkwardly waiting sitting at a corner table wasn't so bad. Visited 12/26/2025 Loretta and I found a favorite Place for Chicken Fried Steak. We didn't think anywhere in AZ could beat CrossRoads Cafe in Parker AZ for home made Country Fried Steak & Gravy. I had Spurs Special with 2 poached eggs, thick cut bacon, spicy home fried potatoes and substituted a biscuit. Biscuit was large, warm and delicious. Potatoes were the bomb! Rode the Harley up for breakfast from surprise and decided to try this place. It was pretty busy but we sat right away. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. We put in our order and didn't have to wait long before it was ready. I got the waffle and some bacon and toast and it was all absolutely perfect! After adventuring nearby we decided to stop in for lunch. Their sign advertised breakfast until closing which after looking at their menu made my decision harder. Those biscuits and gravy looked tasty, but after a long hike I chose the club sandwich and potato salad. My husband had a BLT with a salad. Oh my goodness when my sandwich came out I was in shock. It was huge ha ha. I could only eat half of it. Thank goodness my husband picked up my slack to not let it go to waste. Everything was really good. Our server was wonderful and always made sure we had what we needed. I loved seeing the interaction with frequent diners. The location is very small and even on a Wednesday afternoon there was a wait list starting after we were done eating. Vibe is great and cozy. The food tasted basic and bland. I ordered soft hash browns and they came toasted. I had asked if the chorizo was a patty, or if it would be blended in with the eggs. I was informed it would be a chorizo patty. I received grinded chorizo in a cup. The toast bread was the cheap bread. I couldn't eat much, if any. There were no beverage refills offered. read more

Bacon is thick cut and mostly meat and not fat, flavor filled sandwiches and the prices are less than you'd expect for such quality and big portions. Drove over from Carefree to try the chicken fried steak and it was well worth it. A cozy little restaurant with the cowboy ambiance on the main drag. The gravy was outstanding and the steak portion was enormous. Manager and waitresses were super friendly and informative. Will visit again next time in area. read more

My husband and I came here today. Everyone is so friendly and it's a cute little western restaurant. They really hustling here. We ordered two eggs, hashbrowns, and a pancake, and also two eggs, sausages, country potatoes, and sourdough toast. The pancake came out very under done. We mentioned it, and they made us another pancake, which was better. The stand outs were the sausages. They were excellent with lots of flavor! The eggs and potatoes were pretty good too. The food is excellent, but be careful how you order. I ordered a veggie omelet for $15. I then added ham for an additional $2.50. When I got the bill it was 18.50, not 17.50. Yes, it is only a dollar difference. She told me that I didn't order that even though I did. She said because I added ham, it is no longer a veggie omelet. She was unwilling to fix the price. Chicken Fried Steak was amazing, the eggs were cooked right, and service was prompt and excellent. She kept me topped off on ice tea too and gladly gave me a Togo cup with more ice tea for the road. The ambiance was great and if my dad were still alive I would have loved to take him there. He would have really enjoyed it! If I had anything complain about I would just say they could have provided more hash browns with the steak and eggs but I was willing to let that slide for the portion of steak they gave. Service was prompt during the peak lunch rush; however, be ready for a 10-min wait to get a table, and about an hour wait for your meal after you order. This joint gets slammed with groups of diners and food delivery is necessarily slow. Is this joint Loud?? Hell Yeah!
