    I believe this shop has a few bad reviews from previous bad staff that has since been replaced with honest trustworthy folks. I have had multiple very pleasant experiences here. The shop manager was a pleasure to work with and I never felt pressured to buy anything extra. They work fast and communicated well. Give them a shot!! I'm glad I did!

    I dropped off my car that is my back up, as it had a slow leak in one of the tires. Asked that they check for a leak and patch it. They called me to tell me that there was a nail in the sidewall and that the tire need to be replaced, they also told me that the other three tires were low on wear and should be replaced, as well as my battery, and I did need an oil change. I told them I was going to stop in to take a look at the tire. I want to see the nail hole for myself. 15 minutes later I got a phone call back saying they made a mistake. They confused my car with another car. The hole was in fact fixable, so they were going to do that free of charge to make up for the mixup. They asked if I want to get the oil change, quoting me $87, but they would give me a $30 discount for the confusion on the tire. I said go ahead that sounds like a good price. When I picked it up, they charged me an additional fee for the oil change, they had a $16 labor oil change and a five dollar filter fee so all in it still cost me $85. I've never had an oil change price quote that didn't include labor and an oil filter. There is no doubt in my mind that this place is an absolute sham and rip off and I'll never make that mistake again. Please be aware before you drop off your vehicle here. I will be checking the oil when I get home yo make sure it's clean and filled to the appropriate level. I can guarantee they used traditional oil instead of synthetic, which is what they charged me. This is my secondary car that I drive maybe 3000 miles a year, so I will be fine with the existing tires and this oil change will need to be replaced based on time alone. Oh, and I just noticed that the sticker for the oil change says I will need another one in 2 months. Stay away from the clown show folks! Update: i was driving this car yesterday, and guess what? The check tire pressure came on AGAIN! The pressure was down to 19 PSI when i stopped to add more air. My guess is that they didn't even plug it... In the meantime, last weekend, I had numerous calls with corporate, as well as the regional manager. Their resolution? They will give me a $30 discount on a future service and use this as a "training opportunity". Thanks, but no thanks. Don't even bother calling them to let them know you're experience, it will just be an additional waste of your time. Don't waste your money, time and effort with this clown show.     Clean nail through center tread of tire. Said it was "illegal" to patch or plug which is a lie according to Goodyear's website

Unfortunately I needed to wait until inspection, due to personal difficulties and the patience was commendable. I really appreciated the kindness and support as life seemed to be out of my control. After the thankfully passed inspection, the car battery had been struggling in cold weather. So as my CBA Mechanical technician Matt was examining the vehicle and battery the alternator gave up. I appreciate how Tom Steven's, CBA Service Manager, careful checked together with Matt all options before deciding that I needed a new alternator. And to make matters even better, they helped me find a replacement alternator that was reasonably priced and quality condition. Since my car is older I was not wanting to pour money into repairs. The communication given to me and updates was so helpful and comforting. I was always aware of what was needed or happening. The diagnostic report and videos on each car concern was outstanding! And I mean outstanding and very informative as to how my vehicle is performing and why certain maintenance must be done. No pressure just made aware. Thank you Tom and Matt for making my car better and safer. I recieved and oil change, steering and brake fluid flush. And even more was able to have my headlights cleaned and trunk mechanism fixed so it wouldn't not fall on my neck. These many decisions were made together and the bill was not a regret but a privilege. The writing of this review is not just to praise Matt and Tom who were the best, and Chip, CBA owner, who shuttled me home and brought me back at completion of vehicle inspection, maintenance and several repairs. I really want to let anyone needing car care and /or repair service to try CBA. (Christian Brothers Automotive)!!! I truly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive! I want to close with a big thank you to AJ, Patrick , Anthony who answered my calls so welcomingly. Also Chip who helped me get home and back. So so good of you!!!     I had a very disappointing experience at Christian Brothers Automotive (Montgomery Mall, 565 DeKalb…read morePike, North Wales). My son brought in our car to have both rear brakes replaced. He provided the parts and was quoted about $300 for labor. The shop only replaced one rear brake, discovered the other caliper was seized, and then reassembled the car without calling us for options. Afterward, they informed him the vehicle was unsafe to drive but still charged the full $300 labor fee -- despite not completing the job. To make matters worse, they didn't even have the caliper in stock, leaving us with no solution. This was unacceptable. The lack of communication, releasing an unsafe car, and charging full price for incomplete work shows poor customer service and questionable business practices. Customers deserve honesty, fair billing, and consideration for safety, none of which we experienced here. Thomas Stevens was very dishonest, stating that we resided out of town on our invoice, when we live 15 minutes away from this location. Here at this location, they consider everyone else's position, but the customer. Their practices are unethical, immoral, and unjustifiable. My recommendation is that you search elsewhere for your automobile services as this franchise is anything but Christian based. I have reached out to the owner and I am waiting on a response. I will update this Post upon hearing from the Owner, Chip Eissler. I'm not sure if they're even recognized by the Better Business Bureau. I will look into it.

    Dropped my car off and left all my documentation in the key drop-off. They have a box that you pull…read moredown to the right of the door with the key drop slot, and it has a pen in there, envelopes, where you can tick off the things that you want done and write in anything extra. Loved that extra little bit of care because nothing drives me crazier than trying to find an envelope and pen in my car because there's nothing but a key drop slot in the door in so many other places. They think of the little things. I had made my appointment online a couple of weeks before using one of the flyers that came in the mail, I scanned the QR code. I did put it in my phone as a reminder however I actually put in the wrong day, I would have been a day late however they sent me a reminder text to let me know that hey your appointment is coming up. Amazing, and very timely! I spoke mainly with Brandon and in all my years I have never spoken to any car repair place and receive such great service. He listened to my concerns as I have a few because my car is older. They kept me apprised of every step of the way. From initial diagnostics, when they finish them they sent me a link that took me to a website but not only detailed information about what needed to be done, but also recommendations with PICTURES to show what they were talking about. I was able to show them to my brother who was mechanic in New Jersey he said I see their concern and he agreed on their diagnostics, but we're getting rid of the car within a year so no need to do those things right now. When I spoke to Brandon we talked about what needed to be done for the inspection, the things that I wanted to have done extra including the oil and having an A/C repaired, and there was zero hard sell of any of the other options that were recommended but not needed at time of service. I have never had such an amazing experience at a mechanic shop in all my years and I can guarantee I will never go to another auto repair shop as long as I live in this area, I finally found the best mechanics around and trust me I've been to probably just about all of them including dealerships. They are absolutely outstanding and it didn't matter who I spoke to on the phone they were great, Brandon stood out as exceptional. Thank you Ross for the detailed Diagnostics.

Took it to another auto shop to see if they can pinpoint the sound and the only thing they could say is that one of the BRAND NEW parts were now broken. Now these new parts have maybe 50-100 miles on them. If that. Going to call tomorrow [monday] to see if anything can be done. The car has only been driven home [about 4 blocks] and to the other shop [about 2 miles] since we took it to c&j.

    We just returned from this business and had a very bad experience. One of us has been going there…read morefor 12-15 years and one of us has been going there for three years. There are two trucks and one car. Every 3000. miles these vehicles get an oil change from this business. Every time we have been there every one has been courteous. It does not take long to do the oil change. This time one of the trucks was brought in for an oil change. This truck needs specific oil and a specific oil filter. We told them about the items that we brought in for the oil change. There was someone new who we spoke to and he told us that the oil and filter we brought did not matter. The oil change would still cost $50.00 using the oil and filter. Previously we were charged $30.00 for an oil change. We left because that was ridiculous!! I said it was stupid. The man said said the oil change involves labor as well. The labor then is $50.00 I asked, and he said yes. Apparently if someone brings the specific oil and specific oil filter they want to be used, that person will be charged the same cost as having the full service. Considering the complete oil change service is $50.00, then the oil and filter are free because I was told the labor cost is $50.00! We did not receive any explanation when we questioned the cost of the service with using our own supplies. We will never return to this business!! We will also tell others about our experience. We will tell others not to go to this business for an oil change!! We just returned from a local inspection station and auto repair shop. Their price for an oil change is $25.00 !!!! Maybe not as convenient, but Half of the Price being charged by this business! And all they do are oil changes at this place!
