These guys go out of their way to be helpful. I have never been disappointed, which says a lot for auto service.

Requested an oil change, 2 new tires, an alignment, and an inspection. They were very helpful and up front as usual (I have been to this location several times with several different vehicles), and they got everything done in a few hours for a great value. They also let me know that a third tire as well as my brakes were starting to show signs of wear and tear but were honest in letting me know that they'd still pass inspections. I really appreciate their help and I intend to take my car back to get the third tire and brakes done in few paychecks from now. read more

This is the WORST PLACE EVER !!! I scheduled an inspection & oil change I had a confirmation for 9am. I called yesterday and asked if I could maybe bring my car in early I was told no because the inspection person would not be there until 9am. I then asked how long would I be waiting I was told 1.5 hrs give or take. I said ok. I get thete this A.M and I'm told I need to leave the car the inspection guy will be in at 10am and will get to it sometime between 10am 3pm...WTF..I was soo mad I drove 25 miles to be given a whole new story, I had no where to go to,and the rude bleached blonde was like we left you a message, TOTAL LIE, I CALLED YESTERDAY...I hope the owner fires her.. read more

Terrrible service at the Forks shop. I would give it zero stars if I could. I took my car in for inspection and they said my brakes just barely passed. They said the rotors were at a two and although they passed, all my brakes needed to be completely replaced with rotors and brake flush. I didnt have to money and said I would come back in a few weeks to address the brakes. Subsequently, I took my car to the dealer and they looked at the brakes. they said they were fine and the rotors were at a seven!!! No brake work required at all. This place tried to rip me off for brake service not necessary. Never take you vehicle to this shop in Forks unless you want a dishonest mechanic who just wants to milk your cash for unnecessary service. read more

Worst ... waited 4 hours for my car for them to tell me "they thought it was a drop off" and that they thought I would come the next day to get it when they told me they would do it today which is why I waited ... clearly there's no communication and a lack of organization go to a mom and pop for service these chains don't care. Brought my car in with a leaking strut,car road well . But I needed to pass Pa inspection. They installed the cheapest struts made , on my Acura mdx sh ( super handling) need i say my car has not been the same since. Frustrated with customer support pushed but they ignored me!! I had my vehicle inspected with Mavis and when it was returned to me, it was making a very concerning noise. It was clearly a belt issue and they tried to tell me I put bad gas in it. They would not do a courtesy look. I took it somewhere else and that shop fixed my belt issue. That shop told me Mavis should have identified this issue before returning my car to me. Mavis's mistake cost me $323. Very disappointed in their service. Furthermore, a few weeks later, my partner scheduled his vehicle for a tire change. Mavis failed to contact him when the service was completed that evening and made him wait until the next morning. They did not call him, he had to reach out to him. After making a not-so-funny joke about keeping his vehicle for the weekend to "drive it around", the manager claimed it was finished near their closing time & they didn't know how far away he lived, even though they have the address on file. We live 2 mins away and wouldn't have disrupted his plans to visit his daughter for his scheduled weekend. Once again, disappointed with their service. Needless to say, we are done using this shop. Plenty of other shops to support that are more professional. read more

Today I had the misfortune of dealing with "Chris" at my local Mavis store. I inquired about a refund for a tire repair. He was short tempered, quick to condescend, & accused me of being a liar. I found his people skills to be extremely limited & would think he would not be the sort of individual Mavis would want representing their company. I will add that I have patronized this Mavis site on multiple occasions & found "Josh" to be a professional, kind, service oriented representative. Having never had a problem before with Josh, it certainly surprised me how rude Chris was on our very first encounter. It is my sincere hope that Chris will, at the very least, be retrained, mentored, and/or coached on his customer service skills. I asked for a tire rotation and they tried to sell me chargers whenever I said no they can give me a tire rotation. Then lied about it.

We had appt to come on Monday to change 2 tires. When got there the boy said oh we have a problem- the shuttle never delivered tires. Not good customer service when you do not get notified by text, email or a simple call. Came from over 35 minutes on donut tire. Very disappointed in customer service for not notifying before coming. I called for a price match and a Mike Serp told me they didn`t have my tire in stock and that Mavis had discontinued my tire and would no longer be getting it. I found the tire at my local Mavis and had in installed, When I called Mike back he told me it was to late because I had already gotten the tire. This is the worst place for anyone to go to if you're not knowledgeable of cars. I took my car here to fix a flat tire and explained to the lady at the front register what needed to be done to my car. Later when I picked up the car I noticed the tire was still flat but I had to rush into to work I couldn't figure out what was going on. Today when I go back to get it fix they tell me that they change the wrong tire, HOW did this happen? How you change the only good tire in the car and not the one that is flat, when you can clearly see it. shouldn't you use your expertise to know which one actually needs to be fix. It's so convenient to blame the customer, when there's no posible returns for a job poorly done. They don't care because they make their money regardless. That's stealing, you taking my money and not fixing the issue I came in for. At the end I do not recommend this place, they're more interested in taking your money than to actually doing what you pay them to do. Horrible customer service and experience!!! read more

I have using them for a couple years for tires and minor repairs. I had a 10 am appointment today. As of 330 my car had not been started and they "might " get to it by the end of the day. I'm not sure why they would take appointments and not stick with them or book too much business. At this point I will take my business elsewhere, where my time and money is appreciated. read more

Never again. Called a day before to schedule appt. I was told they didn't have my size tires but the truck would be in at 11 the next day. I scheduled the appt for 12:30. I called the store at 12 just to make sure the tires arrived, they did and i told the gentleman on the phone I would be there in 20 minutes. I arrived at the store and was all checked in by 12:30. I asked how long it would take ,as I was going to wait for it. The gentleman at the desk said about an hour. At 3:51 ( three and a half hours later)my car was finally finished. I had four new tires installed. No one ever updated me on the status of my car or the wait time plus no apology for the length of time. I probably could have changed the tires myself in that amount of time. Never again. Walmart here i come. read more

Wish I could give them 0 stars. Where to start....ok I will start with the $250 battery change for my son's car. He had corrosion on the battery and they convinced him it needed to be changed and that his car battery was so difficult to change it would cost additional labor. A CAR BATTERY. Then they tell him his brakes are almost shot and he needs all new brakes-less than 5% on the pads. We declined because something felt wrong with how they were handling things. Besides, they just got him for $250. Fast forward to yesterday, take car to dealer, dealer says "5%!?!" Brakes are 80%+ and no change needed at all right now. Keep in mind when you call the number under any Mavis store listing you are NOT calling that store. You are calling the Mavis call center and they will tell you anything to get you to the store so they get whatever credit they get for that sale. This has happened to me twice. Once I got a flat on Memorial Day weekend. Thinking I was calling the store I told them what happened and they told me they would take care of me if I got there before they closed. I drove an hour and arrived a half hour before they closed only to be told they couldn't help me and the call center doesn't know what they are talking about. I left without any resolution to my problem. Tonight, my daughter called thinking she was getting her local Mavis and was quoted &350.00 for 4 new tires installed. When she got there she was told the call center gave her the wrong info and those tires would not work on her car. Conveniently they did have a set that would work for $675.00! In my opinion this is a clear case of bait and switch and Mavis is an unscrupulous company who will outright lie to you to make a sale! My experience with mavis discount tire was not good. The lack of communication, the lack of experience, and outright ignorance is something I still can't comprehend. I took my truck to get an alignment . I first knew there was a problem when my truck started to move in a strange way I called AAA and when the tow truck operator came he showed me that the tie rods weren't the correct size, and that is the fault of another service provider. When I had my truck towed to Mavis they "claimed" they never did the alignment because they saw it had a defect, so I still don't understand why they charged me for nothing and never told me about the tie rods. The AAA man also commented how if I went a bit faster than I was going (20) and made a turn my car would've flipped. He also commented on how inexperienced they look and how they were doing some things wrong , he said he wouldn't trust them or bring his car here, and from what I've seen and been through I completely agree. If you care about your life , I advise you not to take your vehicle here. read more

I had one of my worst if not the worst customer service experiences here. I got 4 new tires, an alignment and an inspection for over $650. I had my car preinspected before going there and they wouldn't pass it unless I bought new wipers for over $30. I got angry because I know I didn't need new wipers. So guess what. I got a flat tire the next day. When I took it to a different mavis location, they were so friendly and told me the tire valve was slit. Coincidence? Then my tire light never went off since getting the new tires so I brought the car back to the forks location. I was told that the sensor on the tire that went flat was missing. Coincidence? Then they told me they would fix it for about $100. I told them I had 4 good sensors when I brought it and apparently left with 3. After asking them to please fix my tire, they were rude and nasty but fixed it. Guess what. Today the sensor they put on died. My mechanic told me it was an old sensor. Buyer beware. This place is not where you want to take your car. read more
