no respect for customers at all. Made a Sunday morning apt for 9 a.m (on Wed.) was told my truck would be the very first one to have new tires put on. It would take about an hour & half. Dropped the truck off @ 8:45 a.m. called at 11 & asked if my truck was ready- got a line- I should have made an appt. etc! Explained that I had indeed made an apt & was there on time. They said well, they had a lot of appts that day & would call me when my truck was ready. Waited until 1:00 they said it will be ready at 2:30!!!!!!! They had not even started it. Awful! Went for diagnostic to find out what was wrong with wipers. They said the motor. They can have it in a week. I Took off of work and left truck. They called 2 hours later and said they sent the wrong motor. They can have a new one in 3 days. Wow now the motors are available. I missed there call that said they are returning the motor if I don't respond by the end of the week. Oh well, I bought the motor myself, I installed it in 22 min. Guess what?was never the motor. That's why they said the wrong part came. Its the switch. They are straight out liars. I'm out a days pay plus a motor. They broke every snap holding the cover. Save money and go elsewhere. Nothing is worth dealing with dishonest business. I wish they had negative stars. read more

HORRIBLE NEIGHBORS! Cars racing in and out daily. Revving engines, really annoying. I suspect they are employees because its usually around same time of day...EVERYDAY. Getting close to making noise complaint. Never an issue when STS owned it. read more

Is there a NEGATIVE star grade for this god awful place??? This is THE WORST store I've ever experienced!! From their horrid unintelligent employees and the terrible management; to wasting consumers time and trying to up-sell unnecessary products to them! I purchased 4 'NEW" Continental tires from them and was told that they were All-Season tires. I came to find out AT A DIFFERENT MAVIS LOCATION that not only were they NOT All-Season, that these 4 "new" tires were manufactured in JUNE OF 2005!!! They put 12 and half year old tires on my car without telling me!! This place should not be in business! They do not care about the customers and have no shame in their repulsive selling techniques. Called Mavis to schedule an appointment and they told me to come in at 2. I was just getting my tires changed so I came back at 5 to find that they hadn't even touched my car yet. No use in making an appointment (this isn't the worst part). So I came back again at 6, got in my car and noticed something wasn't right when I started driving because I kept hearing a thumping noise. I returned to Mavis and explained the issue, they insisted that the problem was my car because they only changed the tires and to come back tomorrow. I refused to leave and they put my car back on the lift to find that they did not tighten the lug nuts on one of my tires. If I had left and continued to drive, I could've wrecked my car or who knows what else could've happened. Do not get anything done here. If they cannot do something as simple as changing tires (which is in the name of the shop) then I certainly would not trust them with anything else. -unfriendly management, no refund offered read more

I ran over a small screw which caused a slow leak in my rear tire.. I went to Mavis and asked if they could plug it up which they did or so I thought. Within a week the tire pressure monitor was showing low pressure in that same tire. I called Mavis and made an appointment for them to look at the tire. The tech looks at the tire and tells me that the plug is not holding because I have tire rot. He told me that both rear tires need to be replaced, I disputed that with him since the tires are less than 2 years hold and have hardly been driven since we were all quarantined for a good part of the previous year. I told them to replace only the tire that was leaking but they had to order it so it would take a couple of days to come in. Since I had a couple of days I decided to go to the dealer where I had purchased the car , Catena Freehold Audi to have them check if there was indeed tire rot since my tires would still be under warranty. The Service Tech there told me that the tires were not rotted and in fine shape, so I asked him about the plug for the leak.. He showed me where the plug was and sprayed water around it and informed me that the Mavis tech had put the plug in the wrong place but since it was so close , a second plug could not be used so I now had to replace the tire which Freehold Audi also did not have in stock. I returned to Mavis and had the tire installed it was a snowy day so when I got home I looked at the tire and saw that my wheel rim had been damaged where the tire meets the edge of the rim .. I took photos and immediately returned to Mavis where the obnoxious service tech denied causing it calling it "curb rash" caused from parallel parking except that this SUV has never been parked in that fashion and it has been garaged. I had also been filling that tire with air consistently over the prior week and I certainly would have noticed that type of damage beforehand. They told me to call the next day when the manager , Damien =, was in.. I spoke to him and brought the car in for him to look at, he gave the same story refusing to accept any responsibility for the damage caused by his service tech.. He then proceeded to show me how they remove a tire that their machine has rubber pads and could not cause that type of damage which is fine but then an iron pry bar is used to lift the tire off of the rim and that looked exactly like the tool marks on my rim. When I told him this he said he would call his district manager and I should hear back from them in a few days. 10 days went by and I heard nothing so I called the Customer Service line and they said that a manage would call me. I received call from Hugh and he gave me the same song and dance then I told him I had a before and after picture of the rim so he said to send it to him which I did and I heard nothing further from him.. my subsequent calls went to voice mail. They lied to me about misplacing the plug lied about my tires being rotted and through their incompetence forced me to have to buy a new tire and damaged my wheel rim. read more

Made an appointment online for night before drop off and early morning by 10am pickup. Called and they dont have the tire I selected will arrive by end of day. No one called to select a different tire. Ignored my online request. Immediately picked up car to take elsewhere. Obviously do not have their act together. Customer Service non existent. read more

I scheduled an appt for a front end alignment & to have my tires rotated. I received a call about an hour later and the guy (young punk kid) told me the brake line in my car was broke and that the pedal went right to the floor. When I dropped my car off there was NO problem what so ever with my brakes. There was no brake fluid on the ground where I parked my car in their lot before those idiots drove it into their shop. All the brake fluid was on the floor of shop right where the jerk put my car on the lift. So know I have some young long haired punk telling me to just drive it like that. The so called manager Anthony thinks it's fine for his employees to call customers scumbags. Your place sucks! (Jackson-County Line Rd) I wouldn't let your uneducated nit wits wash my windows. do not take your vehicle hear. they charged me for a front end alignment that they did not even do. i took my vehicle to another shop in jackson because my car felt like it shaking while i was driving and they stated my tie rod was ready to fall off and the car was dangerous to drive. in other words i could have lost my steering while driving. i went to the shop to see for myself and took pictures. i was very upset and contacted greg the manager at mavis. i asked him why was i charged for an alignment when it was never done. i showed him the pictures i had taken. this could have put me and my family in a dangerous position if the tie rod snapped while we were driving. i contacted drew from corporate and told him about the incident. he did nothing. i wanted my old tires put back on my vehicle and for them to take back the ones i purchased. drew stated in an e-mail to me that was not the deal. i did not make a deal with them i just wanted any service they performed for me to be returned. trust is very important to me. read more
