Called AAA and they said someone would be there within a 45 minutes. Expect an "unknown" caller. A few minutes later the towing company called and was in the lot. The agent hooked up a battery. Still wouldn't start. Earlier I checked the oil, and coolant; both OK. He managed to push the car out of the parking space, with the help of a stranger. Carefully loaded it on the flatbed truck. Took me & my car to a trusted mechanic and unloaded the car in their lot. Told me to leave the key in an envelope with my info on the envelope. Never had to do that before. Glad he was so helpful. Didn't catch his name, he was professional, reassuring, and made an otherwise crappy situation tolerable.

On the way down, heard an odd sound coming from under the front of the car at highway speeds. Checked under the car and a panel under the engine that was loose. At higher speeds it fluttered up and down. I'm not a mechanic nor have a lift to get under the car. We were in the neighborhood a couple days later, and I brought the car over just to see what they could do. Although they're always busy, they had an empty bay, and put the car up on the lift. Brian explained it was the clips that hold the "belly pan" in place. He fixed it in about five minutes; and when I asked "how much?" his answer was i'm a good customer. There's no charge. I would highly recommend Brinkerhoff Service anyone, who needs quality work done.

Chuck came out when he said he would, sent texts so I knew when he was coming, didn't time diagnosing and had it turnover but thought there was a dead spot in the starter. He suggested that since he had it turning over, maybe watch it for a few weeks and then let him know what I wanted to do. I agreed and asked how much since he comes to your house. His answer...nothing. The truck quickly wouldn't start consistently again, so I called him and asked home to do the job. He was there the next day, did the job and the price was under his estimate. The job is guaranteed for 12 months or 12k miles. It's amazing to see an honest, responsive and hardworking mechanic that comes to you!

Received a quote for a part swap and oil change. Mechanic said it'd be ~ 2hr job…read more Dropped the car off before 9am. Got a call after 2p saying the quote is over double and no work had been done. They didn't start any work until after 4p. Should've called the customer as soon as you knew the cost and time were going to be outside the quote. We denied the updated cost and said just do the oil. And then they put the WRONG oil in my car. Also hire a front desk lady who doesn't mind talking to customers cause the one you got is garbage. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else and let this place close up.
