He spent a lot of time trying to contact the rental car company for approval but I decided to pay for it myself. My low tire pressure light came on so I went into Mavis on Gem Lake and they aired all 4 tires up. Light came back on 48 hrs later so I knew I likely had a nail or something else going on. Ran in to this location on Wed but there was a long wait so I left. Went to another big box chain a couple of days later and they told me I needed 4 new tires and would not even look for a nail etc so I left. Went back to Mavis on Teckla and they repaired my tire with a nail and did not try to sell me any new tires, plus they did not charge me anything to fix my tire. This is very typical of my past experiences with Mavis and why I love them! I will be needing new tires soon and I will be buying from Mavis again. Thank you for your excellent customer service! I went into the store inquiring about prices, and the manager said they'd give me a free break inspection and then let me know based on what I needed. Once they got to the breaks he personally took me to car and let me see what needed to be replaced and why. After he told me the price i said that I would have to wait and he actually gave me a $50 discount to match the price the budget that I had He had also showed me where a piece of plastic was hanging under my car from the terrible dips we have here in Amarillo, and they even fixed that for me free of charge The employees were very nice and helpful as well. read more

I find it interesting that there were 3 reviews with the 3rd one not being recommended to view. In that 3rd one we had been quoted near two thousand dollars to have our air conditioner fixed. We drove around for awhile that summer without the air conditioner working, before trying another place. That place fixed our problem for $159. We had used Lang tire a number of times until then. Took my 2015 Sentra in because the low tire indicator kept going off and even though I kept putting air in both the passenger side tires it would still come back on and I couldn't see a nail or anything. They broke both tires down and took a look but didn't find anything wrong. They replaced the stems and all has been fine since. My point for writing is that they took at least 45 minutes to inspect and work on my car, and when I went to offer to pay them they would t hear of it. I even tried to offer the technician himself some cash as a tip for his time and he wound to accept. This is not about the few dollars it would have cost me, this is about great customer service and an honest group of people. You have secured my future business for oil changes and such. I had a great experience at Lang Tires located on Teckla Blvd. My friend and I were on a road trip along Route 40 and my tire pressure system indicator came on. I pulled over to fill it up with air (a man at a gas station did it for me) The next morning, the other tire pressure indicator came on and I decided to go to Lang Tires to see what they could do to fix the tire. Turns out the guy at the gas station filled it up with way too much air. They took most of the air out and put it back to the air pressure it was supposed to be at. When I was ready to pay them for the service they did for me, they wouldn't let me. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area, but I do recommend that people go to this place. The mechanics and the front people are friendly. They even allowed me to bring in my dog and one of the men gave her a doggie biscuit. She loved it for sure!
