Well, came in for a leaky tire. Noticed we kept on losing tire pressure during our camping trip, pulling a 5th wheel. So much damage to the tire from a previous leak that was patched at a different auto shop, that the newer patch didn't take. Joe's assessment and honesty, plus concern for our safety was outstanding. We were driving to Myrtle Beach recently and discovered that we were having a problem keeping air in one of our tires. We called several places and only Mavis in Conway was willing to help us at the last minute. We got there a few minutes before 5:00. They had the problem diagnosed and fixed within an hour. These guys are great! Went the extra mile to help when we realized we did not have the proper lug nut key to remove the security lug to fix our leaking tire. We went to the dealership and they were able to remove the lug so we went back to Mavis and they brought us right in and fixed the tire even though they were quite busy. Corporate needs to get their crap together. Made an appointment online for Sunday at 9 am and checked online to see if they had tires in stock and they did. We got there at 9am and they said that there was two people ahead of us , I said that we made an appointment online and they said the two systems don't talk to each other. Also they did not have the tires in stock like online showed either. So we made an appointment for the next Wednesday. They girlfriend gets there Wednesday and they say they can't do the car because it has aftermarket wheels. Which they never mention on Sunday . We even told them they were aftermarket when they said they certain tires we were looking at wouldn't fit. This location has been poorly ran since Mavis bought out the old tire town. I will find another tire shop to take all of my business to read more

Service department here thought they could treat myself like I am stupid. They tried to tell me what I needed when I know about cars and was there getting tires and they showed me I need to get new brakes. When I mentioned just do brakes he like you need this to. Had no personal seem like he didn't want to be there. Also had employees with no work ethics and loyalty to a job. read more

Bob and the crew at Mavis Tire exceeded my expectations today. I went in with two bad tires, poor alignment and bad brakes on my Yukon. I called and made an appointment. They took my vehicle back right on time, went over my vehicle and verified things that needed fixed and showed me things that are starting to wear, but told me it wasn't in need of replacement now. I appreciated the honesty. All repairs seem and drive perfect and the price beat multiple competitors. If I need anything for any other vehicles in the future I'm coming back to Mavis of Conway. My Pacifica was getting noises from front end. Ticking noise on right turns and knocking when uneven parking lots or bump on curbs at driveways. Tires needed rotation and alignment. So appointment made last week and counter manager stated tie rods needed replacement prior to alignment. Paid $774 for repair and alignment and two tie rods (2 inner and 2 outer and labor) with $10 discount off work. Returned a day later as noises continued. Recommended struts. As I was not satisfied I drove to Precision Tune who does my oil changes and maintenance work since 2014. They printed out four pages including front end repairs and tie rods and struts done in 2018 at their shop. Suggested the ticking sound was due to cv axel need replacement and struts. Precision has done work and noises are gone. They recommended I return to Mavis and let them know they missed needed work and should be told. I did this today and counter man said he would let manager know. Doubt any adjustment will be made as he did not keep the originals. Will not need them for future work or tires in next decade. read more

We got a flat tire on our pickup, so we inflated it and saw that it had picked up a nail. We drove over, not knowing if we could be helped right away. Jason took us in immediately, even showing us how they plug AND patch the tire to make sure it is sealed. Then Lee worked on the tire, quickly and efficiently. I watched from a distance, wondering why it looked like he was working on two parts of the tire. After he put the tire back on, he came over to show us that we had TWO punctures: a roofing nail and a sharp piece of metal. That's what I call great service! He was so thorough! Afterward, Jason told us that if we have any problems after we leave, to come back and they'll make it right. They've gained a customer for life. Got here almost 2 hrs ago to get 2 new tires which I ordered 2 days ago and made an appointment to have it done. They didn't have the right tires so the drove off to get them at their other location. My is just sitting there on the lift for an hour and a half. Had they just told me that they had the wrong tires and to reschedule for another day, that would have been fine. Instead I sit here wasting precious time that was going to be used for something else. Not happy. read more

Worst experience ever, pick any other branch for tire replacement. They're call center kept telling me my tires were ready but when I got there each time the tires weren't even in yet, this happened three different times when I was just trying to get one tire replaced. read more

Great experience!!!! My daughter is in college in SC and needed tires. I was hesitant ordering since I live in New Jersey but felt confident once I spoke with Chris K. They are professional, courteous and took the time to explain what needed to be done. The bill was exactly what they quoted me, which is always appreciated and even gave me a credit for wiper blades since they did not have the ones required for her car and was part of a package.
