Deceptive practices, poor workmanship, and failure to honor warranties; BEWARE; do yourself a favor and take your vehicle anywhere else!

Like most car-related problems, I didn't come here for a good time! I just replaced my tires at home on Monday, and was about 200 miles from home when a truck dropped a mystery item that took off half my bumper and flattened one of my gorgeous new tires. Thank goodness for Alex, who has been General Manager of this location for all of one day. I walked in with a complex insurance claim. He patiently figured out how to go through the roadside claim with me, and I'm going to leave here with a lot better spirits than I was towed in here with. TOTAL RIP OFF. I got two Mavis tires here. The tires alone were $605. Then a week later I went to a Mavis store in Gainesville , Fl and got the exact same two Mavis tires to complete the 4, and the charge was $379 for the tires alone. I have the Invoices, and the descriptions and part nrs are identical. read more

ZERO STAR. DO NOT GO HERE, AVOID THE MONEY PIT AND HEADACHE! This location completely screwed over my friend. They went in for one issue, they tried to sell him on getting a credit card because of another issue that "they found" AKA they created. My friend has proof of this. Absolutely terrible location, I would recommend you tell the tow truck to NOT tow to this location. If you can go somewhere else, avoid these scammers. Really sad how Mavis encourages their employees to scam, "create" problems, and damage people's cars in order to make a living. read more

Bought a set of tires there . Good service but a little on the slow side because of employee shortages . The team there are always ready to understand your problems and resolve them as proficient as possible . No complaints from me . read more

Wife and I were vacationing at Lake Blackshear with our trailer when we experienced a flat tire over 4 hours from home. Took tire to Mavis to see if they could salvage our trip. Replaced our valve stem quickly and had us back up on 4 wheels and ready to head back home. Would highly recommend Matthew and the Mavis Tire crew for all their help! read more

Very helpful staff. In and out. You can leave your car for service unlike Shell Jiffy Lube. They get it done quick!

I stopped in for a small undercarriage popped screw. Jacob was very helpful and had us out the door in 10 minutes. Very pleasant experience from someone traveling from out of town. read more

Obviously, I should have read the reviews before I scheduled my appointment here, then I would have been prepared to sit in the waiting room all morning. As it is, they took my car back for my 9AM appointment at 9:53 and have had it in back for 48 minutes already. I was driving up from Florida with my two grand sons to attend a wedding. Along the way I started having car problems where it was shaking very badly to the point that I had to pull off and get it checked out. Mavis tires was the closest location off of 75 so that's where I went. What a blessing in disguise. Not only did they take care of my problem, they took care of it very quickly. Turns out both my back tires the tread started slipping so I needed to get two new tires. I ended up getting a complete set of tires & an alignment at a great price and was in and out within the hour. Awesome service! I can't remember the guy's name who helped me out but he was exceptional. Major Kudos! read more

Do not go here. I have given them several opportunities to win my business with multiple vehicles. There is ALWAYS something negative with the Cordele Mavis. "Forgets" to do my free balance and rotation after an oil change. Can't explain why my bill is $100 more than quoted on new tires after they are put on. Steering wheel totally off center after an alignment. Took 3 trips to get a proper alignment to keep the car from pulling off the road. Go to a different place, and they inform me the last person to change the oil put 4 of the 20 skid plate screws in. That was Mavis. Huge scratch on my Yukon. 100% their fault. Also your "scheduled" oil change will take 2-3 hours. Guaranteed. read more

I don't usually do this and im only doing this after MUTLIPLE attempts to correct this at the store level and even with the regional manager. I would NOT recommend Mavis tire to anyone, even if you have to push your car 5 miles with a broken leg through a hurricane to get it to another shop... don't go here. Fun little chain of events we had.. 7/2 we drop off the truck because ac isn't working 7/3 we pick it up because they can't fix it right then. 7/7 we take it back.. they keep it 7/9 we pick it up.. ac is leaking in the floor board and no working correctly 7/9 we take it back 7/10 we are told ac guy went on vaca and won't be back till 7/14 7/14 we take it back. They tell us 2 different stories of what's wrong but that they will fix it no charge (ok great) they keep it and get it all tore apart 7/15 I call for a pick up date.. it will be done tomorrow 7/16 I call again.. oh we don't have the parts 7/17 again I call.. now there's no expected date because the guy fixing it was sick (totally understand, but im frustrated because we don't have our truck) 7/17 I call corporate to see if there's anything else that can be done, I was told they would send someone else over to fix it and get it handled asap 7/20 call for a pick up time.. "umm our guy is out and its torn apart" I asked about the guy from Albany "idk anything about that, but its not getting worked on" 7/20 I call regional manager again and tell him what they said, he apologized and said they would refund the full amount we paid (still frustrated but ok cool that helps) tells me he is going to get my truck to the dealership and have it fixed. Store manager tells me it will be ready for pick up tomorrow at dodge.. i call dodge and ask for a pick up time and im told THEY DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT.. he never even called dodge.. 7/20 call regional manager back then he says he told store manager who is certified to do this (but for some unknown reason hasnt yet) to finish the job and that he thought it would be ready by Wednesday 7/22 call for a pick up time and im told it woll be Friday or Saturday and one store manager tells me the one working on it is off today.. i called regional manager to ask what the heck is going on and im told that the manager thats fixing it is in fact there and working on my truck now ‍ 7/23 we are finally able to pick up the truck and its fixed Since this i have had to call 4 times to get them to process this refund they told me I could have... only to find out they didn't even refund the full amount for all the ac work that was done Mind you every single time I had to call, several times I was told we will call uou right back and let you know but was never called back. Liars, using scare tactics to defraud travelers! My son had a flat tire on a return trip from Florida and his car was towed to this location. A single tire replacement became a scare tactic to replace all 4 tires because the tech claimed they were all in bad shape. Two of the tires were less than a year old, and the third was less than two years old. The tech took advantage of a kid who didn't know better, frightened him with claims of imminent tire failure for three other tires and defrauded us for over 850 dollars. Liars and thieves, we'll be filing a complaint with the GA State Attorney General's Office for fraud and contacting the corporate office to report this franchisee. I have been using Mavis in Cordele since they took it over from Kaufman. For service, tires, shocks, front end work, and other things. Today i go in for routine service the guy at the counter is lost. They do good work but you have to get past the front door. He just cost them my business. Hire some help!! read more

Me and my mom were on our way to our friends house in florida, our battery light came on so we decided to get it checked. We came to this auto center so we got an appointment and waited and waited and waited. Finally after 2 HOURS they took it back and checked it. Then they took 2 more hours to actually fix the problem. Keep in mind we got there at 1:00 pm then finally it came down and now we are on the road at 6:00 pm! I 10/10 don't recommend going here unless in urgency. read more

Whatever time they quote you to do the work, double or triple it - they have no concept of time and just tell you what you want to hear. I've been several times because of the convenience in location and this has always been the case. The work and prices aren't bad but I would advise arranging a ride or bringing a good novel. read more

Arrange a ride in advance. I spent three 1/2 hours waiting to have new tires put on my vehicle. I was told about an hour. When I asked for an update after sitting for two and half hours, I was told 25 to 30 minutes. An hour later, I saw my car put up on the lift. Like most people, I work a lot have to squeeze errands and housework into one to two days out of my week. I just want realistic timeframes. To top it off, I had to go ask the status...even though I was the only person in the waiting room. However, The tires are very nice!!! read more
