I never write reviews but I felt I needed to write one for this company. Leo is awesome. He came to my house to look at my car, I've never sold a car before, and max auto was paying off my loan so they were writing a check...i was really sketched out, I kept asking questions, Leo answered all my questions, was very patient, and very nice. They were offering me basically what I was asking for my car.... I still just felt a little unsure so I asked if we could go to the actual office instead of doing the deal at my house. He said yes ! We drove from Oceanside to Escondido, and Leo completed all the paperwork, wrote the check, provided me the tracking information and sent it off to my bank. He even paid for my Uber ride home since I didn't have a car at that point. It took about 1 week for everything to go through and be finalized. GREAT experience. Leo is the best !! I went to Max Auto Bid in Escondido to meet with Leo to sell my 2015 Kia Optima and I went in totally blind not knowing how this sale will turn out since I had an existing auto loan with my credit union. Check this out , to my surprise this guys are total pros and thoroughly inspected my car for about 15 minutes and gave me a very reasonable offer. I went to 2 previous places a week before and we're trying to low ball me. Leo made my day and was quick on the paperwork and issued me my check. So after a failed attempt at going to Carmax, and being solicited by Carvana with no success, I was convinced I'd have to sell private party only. I wanted a little more money than the first two, and had issues with the title was in my business name, but I wanted to get paid!!! I would say they are like CarMax but they give a much more fair price. Easiest car I ever sold! Met AJ in front of the Wells Fargo and we spent about 20 minutes going over the car and taking it for a test drive. 10 minutes after that I had my cash in hand! very smooth trade-in experience. I posted my car for sale on offer up and there was a third party auto dealer came and tried to tell me my car is no good and lower my price.
