We booked MaxJunioPhotography for our wedding earlier this year and we could not have been more happy with how our wedding photos came out. Max and his wife Cath were without a doubt one of the best wedding vendors we had. They were so fun and pleasant to work with from our very first meeting and all the way until we received our photos. *Meetings and Communication* Max and Cath really try to get to know you and your vision for how you want your photos to turn out. If you are unsure of your photograph style like we were, they give you a lot of examples of their previous work and see which ones you like. Meetings were easy-going and fun, and they made us feel comfortable, which is important because it made us comfortable working with them and posing in front of the camera during our big wedding day. We were able to email/text them anytime, and they were very responsive. We also asked to have an additional meeting a few weeks before to go over logistics and timeline for our wedding day and they made time to meet with us without issue. *Photos* Our wedding photos came out amazing! We have never really done a photoshoot so we don't really know how to pose in front of a camera.. BUT Max and Cath had super easy and fun prompts for us and our wedding party to make us look natural and not awkward. Again, Max and Cath made us feel very comfortable during the photoshoots and made it a fun experience. We received TONS of photos, and we loved all of them. Good variety of photo styles (vintage, ethereal, glowy, retro, polaroid, gray scale), nicely framed shots that captured the little details as well, excellent post-editing. We got a sneak peek of about 100 photos within a week, and the rest of the photos in a timely manner as expected. *Pricing* Extremely fair and competitive pricing for the quality of work and service we got. Very happy with what we paid. I do want to mention that our wedding was in the winter, so the off-season could have possibly affected pricing. *Other notes* They worked well as a team together to coordinate different photos from different angles, but also worked really well with our videographer team from a different company. I think it's because they have such a friendly and outgoing personalities. The day goes by really smoothly and both photos and videos come out great when the entire media team can collaborate well with each other. We noticed both Max and Cath had multiple cameras on them at all times (main cameras slung over each shoulder, polaroid, and drone controller). They were able to continuously but effortlessly switch between so many of their different cameras really quickly, all while operating a drone as well (you can see what I mean on their Instagram behind the scene/POV posts). So talented! All the different cameras gave us a wide variety of really creative shots. They even handed us cute and memorable polaroid pics that they took of us during the wedding day right then and there. They honestly worked really hard, and were constantly running around to get into position for the perfect photo at the perfect time. They will absolutely make sure every special and important moment is captured on camera. Max and Cath are truly artistic photographers. A few of our wedding guests saw our wedding photos and already asked us about Max and Cath to do their wedding as well. I have been a wedding planner for 888 Productions based in Los Angeles, CA for over 10 years now. I was initially introduced to Max Junio by a fellow vendor in August of this year. I remember working my very first event with him at the Biltmore Hotel in downtown LA on September 7th, 2019. He was one of our freelance photographers for the day and even though I've seen some of his work online, I must admit that I wasn't expecting anything extra ordinary from him that day. I am coordinating that wedding and on that day, he arrived very early, looking very professional and equipped. He was polite and assertive on directing our bride and groom. I don't know how he still managed to set-up lights inside the ballroom and in the Church, given the limited time, but he did. I didn't get to see what he was trying to accomplish that day but when he submitted his photos a few days later, I was completely BLOWN AWAY! His photos were not just great, they were PHENOMENAL, like a gallery of MASTERPIECES for a magazine spread. I'm attaching a few of them for reference. I would probably think that they're done by someone who's been in the industry for decades but NO, I've learned that Max has only started getting into photography business in 2017. Still a very fresh talent. In my line of work, I have worked with HUNDREDS of professional international photographers in the country but one thing that stood out from Max's work is his keen attention to detail. If you look closely into his work, you could see the amount of work and passion he puts into each photo. The way he directs his clients, the way he works with the shadows and natural light, by seeing his composition, you could tell that he's a brilliant artist. I also know how to edit photos in Lightroom and I could tell that this man spends hours in post production. There's no such thing as plain or simple pictures to him, every image has a "WoW" factor, especially with his dark and moody style. You could tell that he has a pretty high standard. I've noticed that he's quite a perfectionist too which totally reflects on his craft. I was totally impressed after seeing his work from that event so I have immediately booked him with some more projects in Southern CA, up until 2021. Since then, my company has officially welcomed him as one of our lead photographers. Overall, I am very pleased with his craft and his work ethics. I can say more praises about him and his service but I think it's best if you go check his website or his Instagram to see his portfolio. They will all speak for themselves. I'll say give Max a shot, have him photograph your special event, may it be a short family session, a maternity or a big wedding event, I can guarantee you that he will deliver something EXTRA ORDINARY and definitely MORE than your expectation.
