I'm sure it's a loss leader, but like the Costco rotisserie chickens it gets me in the door to spend money on other things. In general it is a pleasant shopping experience now that I know the store layout - it doesn't seem to get as crowded as other grocery stores and their staff are always nice. My one quibble would be with stocking of sale items - they often seem to be sold out and/or limited selection.

So I thought it be nice to have them just check and bag the groceries. I said at the beginning to the checker "I will need bags today". After she rang everything but the last item up she asked if I need bags. I said yes. She then said " you can grab them and start bagging". I said no I just finished a long day at work I'm not here to work more. She looked at me offended. I said "I'm really suppose to bag them?" She said "yes". I made a complaint to the manager and he sided with her saying " it's hard for me to believe she expected you to bag." He was very un polite and unprofessional to me. Many of the people working here are lazy and are not considerate to the customer.
