A nice little spot that offers food, pastries, hot and cold drinks, along with smoothies. The person at the register was nice and patient with us since it was our 1st time and we didn't know what to get. The egg salad sandwich was on soft bread and made with good and fresh ingredients. The Wrap it Up Already was like a flat waffle with an egg, a meat of your choice and cheese. Everything was soft and good. It's a cozy spot to relax, read a book, or do work on your laptop. Wherever we go, we always look for a great local coffee shop with good food options. Aunt Helen's is that place in Greeley. In both of our visits, we got the Waffle Wrap breakfast sandwich which is the claim to fame here. (Not sure how famous it is, but I've definitely never encountered a waffle wrap for breakfast). The shop is located in the historic downtown area and has a steady flow of locals and visitors alike. The place seems to have a little of Aunt Helen's personality with the motto: "Come to Aunt Helen's, have some coffee & mind your own damn business". She lived to 108 and her story is posted on the wall. read more

I was visiting Greeley and stopped into a cute coffee shop. Enjoyed a crafted coffee and a breakfast bagel, both delicious. Very friendly service! I noticed they also have wine, and bites so we had to go back later.. loved the flight of mimosas, the charcuterie bites! Definitely will visit again when I come back through town. read more

The Cheeky Pesto is really good; I've come back specifically to get that sandwich three times. The chips that come with it are pretty unique (in a good way!). I had a latte once and the espresso was very weak. It tasted watery. Would not get their espresso drinks again. The smoothie was good though! The service is fast and they're always nice. read more

I was here for a conference for several days. Super duper friendly staff. Like next level. Oat milk latte was delicious every single time, and my partner agreed. Had the Aim Low breakfast sandwich and the Cat's Pajamas coffee. The goods were delivered by Nosh very nicely. The sandwich was fantastic! Very generous with the egg and other toppings. Yummy yummy. The coffee was espresso based. I got it hot (you can get it iced), added a second shot, added heavy cream (there are other choices of milk). It was delicious. My visit with a friend to Aunt Helen's Coffee House ( the snarky side of coffee) in downtown Greeley was a tremendously pleasant surprise. Our city @100000 doesn't even remotely have any urban feel, but this coffee shop has large windows facing the street on two sides and a high ceiling that gives a real sense of spaciousness. The decorations are clean and linear. - and how is the coffee? Is it good! No standard western coffee ( sits on the range all day haha) actual brewed coffee and various espresso concoctions. Nice breakfast option. It's a short walk from the Doubletree (downtown). I kept it simple... Just a large coffee, and a breakfast sandwich. Both were very good, as well as the smiling service and the cool downtown vibe. Small town downtown, if you know what I mean. Not sure what my schedule will permit during my time here in Greeley. Found this place last April while I was working up in Greeley and they were within walking distance. They offer pastries, hot/cold drinks and other things kinda like star crack, but better. I switch it up when I'm down on that side between this place and another. Their prices are decent, but the protein box a bit pricey for the amount. The service is friendly and they are fast with getting your order. Been here only a handful of times lately, and it's still just as good from the first time I've gone there. I love the big comfy chairs. They're my own designated place whenever I come around even though most times I come on my own. The snack is alright, could be better for the price, but the coffee is so good I just take my doughnuts as an afterthought to complement a really good drink. The menu is also really comprehensive and has good depth so you can definitely try your blend and it'd be even more perfect for you than it was for me. I had to stop what I was doing and write this review. This is seriously good coffee! (The exclamation point lets you know I am serious.) I am a coffee snob and would rather not drink coffee than get a cup of burnt bean runoff. Portland, Oregon has coffee shops that will change your ability to enjoy chain coffee. I ordered Sticky Sicilian a type of caramel coffee close to a caramel macchiato. The relationship between your average macchiato and this is the difference between looking at a picture of Italy and actually being there. There's not to much sweet and a full body to their coffee that is missing in the over heated or stale flavor I get at the other places in town. Can't believe I haven't made it here before. This is a first time experience here at Aunt Helen's. The place is very clean and lots of lighting due to large windows, even with it being cloudy. This day it was overcast and cold, felt like sitting at home reading but, conducted business in the small conference room while eating a carb free bowl and drinking coffee. It has a cozy vibe to it, very quiet place with all different personalities. Would highly recommend stopping in at least once. You won't be disappointed! read more
