I tried to buy a lighter with no price tag. Lo and behold, it wasn't in their system. So the store's inventory and pricing are broken. Fair enough, mistakes happen. But here's where it went wrong: the employee, citing the late hour, couldn't get a supervisor to help. His solution? Guess a price. When I noted these are $4-$5 elsewhere, he wouldn't budge from $6, claiming "that's what his brain told him." The real issue: Why am I paying for their store's operational failure? The lack of a tag and a system entry is their problem. The inability to escalate it is their problem. The employee should have erred on the side of the customer, not arbitrarily pick a higher number. If the true price was $4, I was overcharged by 50% due to no fault of my own. This felt less like a transaction and more like being taken advantage of. It is not the dollar difference which is petty but the principle of it. Probably not coming back here.

Which is another lie bcuz many times I've been there, employees had forgotten to add my points and than did it right there. I said to him I've been coming to this store for over ten yrs and never had a problem. Also they have a program at this store that asks u to put your phone number and try your luck, well in over ten yrs, it never happened, and none of my friends also never got chosen, so it's just another lie to keep ppl coming. He also decided to not care if u have been a faithful cust even going out of your way with plenty of stores by me, but always choosing to buy there.now the new employee who's been there 3 mos, decided to be very rude to me saying either buy ur stuff and leave, or just leave the store. Even though I was not directing my disappointment at her, she took his lies, and I was the one treat like shit.
