The first time, when I was trying to ship something back to a company, they did what they could to contact the company reps and FedEx coordinating center to help resolve my issue. I also got a textbook chopped and spiral bound from them, and this was absolutely one of the most positive encounters I've had with a staff member. Heather was charming, made my experience feel personal, and also gave me parking tips since this is by no means the easiest place to simply drop in on when curbside parking is full. PRO TIP: Park in the underground Severance Garage and your first 30 min are free. Take the stairs marked for Thwing Center up and you'll emerge just a few yards from the side entrance of Thwing! I arrived and found out that the manager who notarizes documents had not come to work. I complained that I had to take time off work to get the document notarized. I asked the person at the counter to call the manager and tell her about the missed appointment and to ask what time the manager would be at work since I was planning to wait. The employee did not mention anything about the missed appointment. The answer that I got was that the manager was planning to get to work "around noon". Needless to say, the service that is establishment provides is awful. I have large items that I need to ship to relatives. I will most certainly not use UPS.
