Nice manager but company seems to be involved in a scam where they take funds to overnight shipments that do not arrive on time and then subject customers to a never ending wild goose chase to retrieve funds. I wonder how many 100 dollar transactions to ship fail to arrive on time and how many times the company or these stores incur a benefit by keeping the money from the failed transaction. Do NOT use this UPS store! There is somebody there "losing" (more likely stealing) packages! I just filed a police report with UH Police!! Christmas presents to be shipped never left the store. Speaking to a friend of mine today, she said the SAME thing happened to her with the same store - so I went straight to the police. They have to be stopped!! read more

I'd give it zero star if I could. Need to get my ID photo taken. I told them the size and that I need the DIGITAL file only. Giving this store one star is too generous. They completely ripped off my sister. She shipped her laptop to me in Dallas to fix and the package weighed only 6 pounds. It was shipped UPS ground and took 7 days to reach me and they charged her $51.00, which included $12.00 for a 16" x 16" x 4.5" box. Not only was the box expensive, but it was also too big for the computer. They wrapped the PC in bubble wrap, but there was so much space that the computer bounced around in the package. She was lucky that the laptop wasn't damaged. Of course, it was my sister's fault for paying such an outrageous price but they were wrong for taking advantage of her. Stay away! read more

First review I've ever left. This store is ALWAYS a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, quick and competent.

I went in there to get a very small letter typed up and get 3 copies the first lady said they don't do that and had quite a nasty attitude so I asked for the manager who told me they did she asked if I wanted to wait and if said I had no choice well im handicapped so I asked where the benches or chairs were and if was hold there were no accommodations for people that needed it so I had to walk all the way back to my car and if was in real pain in my back on my way to my car to wait for 15 minutes anyway 15 minutes later I went back and had to wait very uncomfortably until the manager became available anyway I looked at the small letter that had about 39 words only. So she goes that will be. $35.00 just for that tiny letter and a small amount for the three copies.so I said why so much and it was way too much should have been 10.00 plus the 3 copies she overcharged me by $25.00. And u said what do you do for the handicapped that needed to sit and if was hold they don't do that so overcharged and underserved I wont be going back to that ups. I never wished yelp had 0 stars option so bad. These people are so incompetent it's unbelievable. It happened twice with me. On one occasion, I needed to print something. They don't know how their own printer works. I wanted one sided B&W, they got me two-sided color, which I couldn't even use, and asked me to pay, because store policy! On another occasion, I needed to mail something urgently and asked for the fastest option they have. They gave me the option that ended up taking 5 freaking days to deliver something from Cleveland to New York. I checked online on UPS website later and sure enough, there is a one day delivery option. They don't know what they are doing in the least. If you care about what you are trying to do at all, avoid them at all costs. read more

The previous manager and employees were amazing and made running a business easier. A day ago, I called the UPS store, and Lori answered the phone. I wanted to know if an email is sent when I received a drop of to my mailbox. She said no, we would refuse something that was dropped off, envelopes have to come from a certified delivery service. I indicated that was news to me because for the past few years clients were able to drop off envelopes that had contact information listed. I kindly asked when did the policy change and were patrons notified so we can make a decision that fits best for us. She said this is the law and there was no change and that previous management did not observe the law. While I thought that rude to slander others, I again tried to explain how this observance would significantly affect my business as we are in the thick of tax season. Lori said, if you read the paperwork that you signed, you would know that the boxes are non-refundable. At this point, she is insulting my intelligence. I said patrons should be able to get a refund if displeased with services or have been misled about the service that I paid. She told me that I was breaking the law because the previous management broke the law. I asked to speak with the owner, and she told me that I cannot speak with the owner and that why the owner pays her. Completely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I am not sure what school of training teaches managers to lose business. I am very connected to the community and obtained the owner's contact information and called, left a message. I have not been contacted back. I know that landlords have tenants drop off rent to mailboxes at this store and recently, so are the so-called "laws" only being observed for some and not all? Knowing this to be factual I feel discriminated against and will take every step to expose this behavior to my community leaders. read more

This store gets one star in my book for poor customer service. In short, I was attempting to return items to Amazon two days after Christmas. I used the preprinted label provided by Amazon and dropped off the package. After two days, when the package was not showing "in transit," I started to worry. i had left town, so I asked my sister to stop by and ask about the package. They gave her a phone number which I promptly called. The service rep at the main number told me that the store had to report the package missing before they could start a search. I called back to the store and was told that they were not responsible. They had scanned the package and given it to the truck driver on the same day it was dropped off. I asked why it did not show in the tracking system if that was the case. He said he did not know, but he was SURE they had scanned it and sent it out. Once again, I asked if they had done that why would it not show in the system. He said it should, but he did not know why it did not and he could not initiate a search because they had no responsibility for packages the store did not pack themselves. I am sure someone picked up my very large package (which contained stereo equipment) and walked out of that store. I will continue to call Amazon and UPS, but have little hope the package will show up. I'm disappointed, not only because I am likely out of several hundred dollars, but also because the store reps had no interest in trying to help. read more

Unbelievable event, terrible service. (at least the 45-55 yr old dark haired lady). I was trying to ship a coffee maker today. Man, did I walk in to the wrong place. After agreeing to shipping charges ($33) and EVEN purchasing the cardboard box ($12) from this UPS store to ship my item, she told me that I would have to take it back home, tape/prepare it and bring it back. She said that I could NOT use her TAPE. (I had brought in my own stuffing/insulation, bought the box there, but I just needed tape.) I got so mad at her, because she knew it was so much more work to go back home, tape it and bring it back to her. Furthermore, she said, it was a local business, and that I should also pay the extra $20 to let them pack it. (instead of driving back home to tape it.) I dont know what to say. Customer service needs improvement ; on 12/29 I dropped a package with a pre-paid return label and asked for a receipt. Throughout the transaction the employee discussed a personal matter with his colleague. On 1/2/15 I mailed yet another return. When I asked for a receipt I was instructed to wait in line - a long line. I pointed out that it seemed inefficient to have to wait with other customers whose transactions take a long time and that even the post office has a better system. When I expressed my disappointment about the customer service experienced on 12/29, things started to unravel- Misty one of the employees called me rude and asked me to 'never come back'. UPS can do better in streamlining operations and selecting employees. read more

I called to check if they have a notary service, they told me yes and they close at 7:00pm. They never mentioned that the person responsible will leave at 5:00 pm. I went there shortly after 5 and they told me the notary person has gone. They wasted my time for nothing. read more

I've been to this UPS location quite a few times and I've never had any issues. Everyone is incredibly helpful and patient with me, despite the fact that they are always busy when I come in. The wait is never too long and the staff is always really happy to see customers (the other location that I frequent is much closer to me and incredibly cranky). I never know what I'm doing when I'm shipping anything; what box do I use, is an envelope safe, what's the cheapest way to do it, how long will this take, etc. and everyone is very eager to help with my sometimes silly questions (I get scowls at the one off of Mayfield in University Circle...I'm met serious anger and impatience when I [always] have questions). read more

I went to this location to mail several holiday packages over the weekend. The customer service was great. The employees are all pleasant and helpful. There was even a woman, Janet, greeting customers and offering homemade cookies to those of us waiting for our turn. The cookies were delicious! The awkward and meek employee told me that she would charge $2.00 to add tape. Or, I could buy it. Where is service? How much money are they making from Amazon to handle their returns.
