Hey y'all I wanted to take a moment and and give some feedback and praise to this small business near downtown Visalia. Maxi Raspado always seems to have a good amount of people and I happen to pass by today right before their rush, so the wait time was pretty much zero. The environment seem very inviting and clean. And the staff was very kind and service oriented. Ordered the bananas, plat with strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, ice cream, Period. It was very rich and creamy. So I'm assuming that they are using quality ice cream for their business. I definitely indulged. And I also had a Mexican shaved ice treat called a raspado de leche quemada con nuez. This was creamy, rich in flavor, and the use of real walnuts played extremely well with flavors of the leche quemada. This place is 10 out of 10 on the flavor scale! Price was on point for the types of goodies consumed. And service was also a 10 out of 10. Thank you Maxi Raspados and I will definitely be back plenty more times over the summer.

seriously the best raspado place ever. I've been coming here for over 10 years, & now visit every time I'm home from college, & make sure my friends try it from out of town. I'm yet to find another place this good in the Bay or SD.

This place is great for a snack stop! They have a lot of options for a sweet or salty treat. The wait can be a while but that's because they do have quite a lot of customers. There is only a small parking lot in front so take that into consideration when you go. Everything we ordered was yummy, def recommend stopping by!

I honestly cannot complain. We haven't had anything bad from here. The little shop connected has the most delicious ice cream and delicious tamarind treats. My son likes the elote esquites. With the the mayo, and the chili. I got the one with the hot Cheetoh 'dust' I guess you can say. I should have asked for extra chili because it wasn't very hot. The corn was cooked perfectly but I wasn't a fan of the amount of corn water on the bottom of the cups. Gave the overall taste more watery. I usually get their diablito or the manganeada. Both are amazing. The regular raspados are also very good. I've also had the Chamango and chamarindo and chamoyada. All are amazing. Location: it's convenient. In route to Dinuba blvd and down the street from Main Street. It's a tasty place with loads of options.

So good!! Only downside is they almost always have a long wait time, but the food/treats are delicious & worth the wait.

Food is great but service is extremely slow. Took at least 20 minutes to get 2 raspados.

Over the summer, I've frequented scoops as the location and atmosphere are unique and fun. It is in a great spot, and has friendly staff behind the counter. Unfortunately, the ice cream itself is intensely unremarkable. Flavors at Scoops are either minimally flavored creamy milk or absolute hydrogen sugar bombs. There is no in between. I did enjoy one flavor, but I inquired the scooper if they made it in house but was disappointed to learn it was one of their imported flavors. Additionally, the dirty sodas are not so dirty. They are simply overpriced sodas. Moreover, the staff is helpful and prompt, but management fails to realize that a single scooper for a busy night sours the experience for all. Long lines and wait times are easy to build up especially when the more involved items are being ordered. A few times I've heard some people tell the scoopers that they know the owner, at which I've questioned the point. Odd. Speaking on owners, of the times I've visited Scoops I've seen them once. His contribution was yelling at his scoopers. It created an awkward environment and longer wait times. For being vocal and seemingly involved in their community, I expected the owners to be more involved and professional. Poor scoopers. Scoops has potential, yet the atmosphere and friendly staff are hindered by mediocre ice cream and incompetent upper management.

It was a short lady probably mid 40's black hair. On our way home we stopped at Sabor Tucombo in Visalia and the lady was able to have that small cup with 2 scoops for my daughter. I will never buy again from this place and family and friends neither after hearing what they did to my baby girl.

The upstairs has an open seating concept, with only a few tables reserved ahead of time. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and casual, with low lighting, large comfortable chairs, and an intimate feel that's perfect for a date night or relaxed dinner. Keep in mind that the prices are higher than downstairs, but so is the menu. We started with a White Linen cocktail, which was incredibly refreshing on a hot summer afternoon and the perfect way to kick off our visit. We originally planned to order the Burrata Caprese with Fresh Basil, but they were sold out--which must mean it's a popular choice! Instead, we opted for the Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts, and they were absolutely delicious. The dish featured thinly sliced Serrano chilis that added just the right amount of heat. The crunch from the walnuts paired perfectly with the feta cheese and balsamic reduction. Best of all, the Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly--crispy and tender without being soggy in the slightest. We loved this unique take on Brussels sprouts and can't wait to return to try more of the menu. Mia was our server and was both friendly and helpful, making our experience even better.
