I'm not really a fan of The Gap, but this outlet is a fine store. It's just like any other outlet. The deals and discounts are comparable to those at other Gap Outlets (such as the one in Jersey Gardens). Perhaps the space at this Newark location is bit smaller than other Outlets, but it's in no way a cramped store. At least, that's what I thought when I peeped it out. Also, last time I was there, I thought that the staff kept the store well maintained. If you work in the area or normally shop along Broad and Market, you may find a good deal here.

She helped me find a size in the back from shoes and price check some apparel that I found on the clearance rack. I needed a fitting room and a younger male employee caught my attention from across the store and came over to help me in a timely manner. Even the security guard was nice and welcoming. The store was clean and well stocked. Check out moved quickly as they had four employees on the register. Overall, I found some really good sales and left with some great stuff.

One has a price tag of over $1000, the other is priced around $500. The $1000+ suits are almost never on sale, and when they are, it's only 10-15% off. The $500 suits can be found on sale for $200 with pretty decent frequency. Why is that? It's because the expensive suits are made of quality materials and superior construction, meaning they truly are worth $1000+. The other suits are designed by the same people, but they use inferior cloth and are made in a factory. Sometimes the suits are good for everyday use/work. Other times they just look nice but feel really cheap. Either way, the department stores get those suits for CHEAP and mark it up to $500. They get those suits so cheap that they can still mark it down to $200 and make good money. So at a smaller shop like this, the prices will always beat the regular department store prices, and their sale prices beat the department store price. However, you need to do some shopping here. Unlike the department stores, not everything is good looking. There are a few items that range from "used car salesman" to Don Cherry. Also, you would have a better time buying shirts at a Marshall's or TJ Max. But the price was good, the turnaround time on the alterations was lightning fast and I didn't get upsold. Call me a fan..

The needs of the children were highlighted and they were most definitely seen and recognized for their talents. The entertainment was phenomenal, full of energy with an extensive catalog of music. People gathered, danced ate great food, played in the Bouncy House and were joyful today on Clinton Street.. Shout out to the Africàn restaurant next door serving the delicious jolof rice and baked Halal chicken. Woodstack provided the burgers both turkey and beef, beef hot dogs, snacks, beverages, water, vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream topped everything with a grand price of FREE to the community and all attendees. Woodstack gave clothing with school supplies in backpacks to the children and it was deeply appreciated. I tell you these people from Woodstack are humble so be sure to patronize their business along with the nearby African Halal serving Restaurant both neighbor on Clinton Street! I had a blast with my son and we are from Bergen County. We were supposed to meet my sister in law there who was visiting from California at a local take out joint. We missed her but ended up welcomed to the Block Party given by Woodstack. So check them out. You won't be disappointed. Disappointing and misleading experience…read more I'm really frustrated with my experience at this suit store. I checked their website before visiting and found a blazer at a specific price, which seemed fair. But when I arrived at the store, the individual who was helping me quote me a price $70 more than the online price and, the individual who check me out charge me $20 more than the price online. When I asked about the online price, the staff stated the online price doesn't mean anything in the store. I ask what does that means and he repeat the same thing. So, he didn't clear to offer a clear explanation of the difference. It felt misleading and like a classic bait-and-switch. I made the trip expecting honesty and consistency but that didn't occur. If they advertise a price online, they should honor it in person also. I won't be returning, and I'd recommend not to trust these individuals in this store.
