Keep in mind i wasn't asking to be picked-up or a loaner vehicle..just a simple oil change while I wait. I guess that's premium service for a premium vehicle! We had very high hopes for our experience with CarShop, especially because everything started off…read moreso well when we purchased our vehicle. Unfortunately, about three weeks after purchasing it, everything seemed to go downhill. We started noticing that the car wasn't running smoothly and eventually got to the point where we genuinely did not feel safe driving it. It was also failing to do basic things properly, which led us to contact CarShop and bring the vehicle back on Monday, July 13th. When we dropped it off, we were told, "You probably won't hear anything until Wednesday, July 15th." However, the following day we received a call from a woman telling us that our car needed to be sent to Chevy because there was a recall on it. This was extremely frustrating because NOT ONCE during the purchasing process were we informed that there was a recall involving the transmission. To our knowledge, the vehicle was sent to Chevy on either Tuesday the 14th or Wednesday the 15th. From that point forward, communication was extremely disappointing. We were never told which Chevy dealership our car was sent to, we received little to no updates unless we called ourselves, and we were given very little information about what was actually happening with our vehicle or when we could expect it back. About a week later, we called asking for an update and again received very little information. We also made sure to let them know that we would be leaving to go out of town on July 31st. We were told, "Oh, it shouldn't take any longer than two weeks." Throughout the following weeks, we called multiple times trying to get updates and continued reminding everyone we spoke with that we were leaving town. Then, on July 30th, we received a phone call saying that the rental car we had been given had been sold and needed to be replaced. They did come to us and exchange the rental, which we appreciated, but the overall situation was already frustrating considering we had been without the vehicle we had JUST purchased for over two weeks with very little communication. On the morning of July 31st, I called around 8 a.m. because I needed to get something out of our car before leaving town. Instead of simply telling us where our vehicle was located, someone was sent to go get the EZ pass for us. Again, while we appreciated them doing that, it was frustrating that we still weren't being told where our own vehicle was or what was happening with it. I specifically explained that we would not be home after 12 noon that day and that if the vehicle was finished after that point, it would have to sit there for over a week until we returned. After weeks of waiting and calling for updates, we received a call around 4 p.m. THAT SAME DAY saying the vehicle was finally finished. We also later found out that additional issues occurred while the vehicle was being repaired, which we were not informed about until after the fact when WE OURSELVES read the maintenance reports. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. We understand that recalls and repairs happen, and some things may be outside of CarShop's control. However, communication and transparency are absolutely within their control. We should have been informed about the recall from the beginning, told where our vehicle was being sent, updated throughout the repair process, and notified about additional issues as they happened. After having such a positive experience initially, we are extremely disappointed with how everything was handled once problems arose with the vehicle.

My daughter bought a 2000 Kia Optima the end of September 2024. The finance person sold us an…read moreextended warranty from the "reliable" company they use called EasyCare. I had to fully purchase the warranty up front, which I did for 5 years. Within 2 months lights came on in the vehicle and my daughter took it to a Kia dealer where she was in college. The dealer told her that there was zero oil in the vehicle which is very strange and performed an oil change. We contacted Cochran about the issue and they refused to fix the issue or take a look at the vehicle. We continued to monitor the oil and got regular oil changes as required by the warranty company. In August of 2025, as my daughter was on her way back to college, her car started smoking and we had to take it to have it assessed. The bill to fix the oil issue then had moved to an issue with the engine. We submitted the bill to the warranty company and they would not cover it after repeatedly submitting oil change receipts with details. It didn't matter that we changed the oil according to their requirements they still denied the claim stating that the prior owner likely did not change it according to their requirements. I had to pay over $4k out of pocket in less than a year to have the engine replaced. At that time, I opted to cancel the extended warranty after learning from that dealership that Easycare rarely accepts claims, she had battled them on many occasions and rarely has good news for customers on their claims. I called Cochran and worked with Mike the finance person on my warranty cancelation. I explained to him that I paid in full for it and that the refund for the balance of the warranty should go directly to me, not to the balance of the car loan that is in my daughter's name. He explained that it would take up to 90 days for the refund. I called and followed up a few times and he told me it was in process. After 3 months, he stopped following up with me. I found out that the refund was put into my daughter's balance of her car loan instead of sent to me. I am owed an explanation - not only did I pay in full up front for this warranty, they would not fix an issue that arose within 2 months of having the vehicle, the warranty company would not accept the claim, so I'm out a lot of money to have it fixed and then on canceling the warranty, they did not refund me - they refunded my daughter by taking it from the balance of her loan. To boot, nobody at Cochran Mazda is providing me with any explanation of why this happened and why they are not responding to my emails or calls over the last 5 months. I've emailed and called Mike asking for an explanation, given him plenty of time to get back to me. I've called the other finance manager Tony - but his voicemail inbox is full. I've messaged them on their website and was told someone would get back to me ASAP - have not heard from anyone.

This dealership performed a routine maintenance on my 2021 Mazda. I was given a loaner to drive…read morewhile the service was performed. The loaner car was dirty and had very little gas in it. When I returned to the dealership to pick up my vehicle and return the loaner, no one greeted me. I approached the manager who was seated at his desk. He told me he would be with me momentarily. I waited while several Mazda employees came in and out of the showroom. I was never acknowledged. I am waiting still as I type this review. Wretched customer service.

By the time we got down to pick it up, he'd put on new Pirelli tires and replaced rotors and pads. Car was spotless. Finance process (worked with Deb) was easy and every employee was very friendly. This is a low overhead place which seemed to keep prices down. Not a fancy dealership but a great selection of cars coming off of two or three year leases with very low mileage. If you're looking for a luxury brand but want somebody else to pay for the depreciation, Tower Auto Sales is the place to go!
