Engine fault on left

On 21 February 2025, I purchased a used 2017 BMW M2, which had roughly 24240 miles. I drove 600 miles roundtrip to make the purchase because of Ken, who provided prompt replies to my queries on the condition of the car. When I arrived to test drive, the car ran a low battery alert on the second start after a few minutes of driving. I wanted to leave but something about the mileage and the Carfax convinced me it was clean and that there was no electrical issue besides the battery. Another buyer might've been wary of the alternator at that point, causing battery drain. Then, when you looked around the car, you'd notice it wasn't detailed properly. There was food dried to the B pillar and behind the steering wheel, as well as a bag of trash in the trunk. I noticed when I popped the trunk to check the battery after having already asked Ken to verify that it was in working order before I arrived to test drive the car. I didn't gripe about these issues. In fact, I made it an easy sale and I regret it. I didn't complicate the sale for issues which would have alerted other buyers to your indifference in preparing this car. How do you deliver a car with a dead battery to a buyer who drove 300 miles and gave you a week to prepare the car, while asking about key details including the battery. It reads negligent, and I am unsurprised that lack of care in adequately inspecting the car manifested again. You can produce a narrative about what I did to the car, but my evidence suggests you were more careless than I was and I believe strongly that others will agree. Last night, 13 days after purchase, the car threw a check engine light. Error code P120D bank 1, hose broken or defective. Upon closer inspection of the engine bay, you will notice lots of loose electrical tape that has been haphazardly wrapped around wiring. Now I know why. The engine bay was also likely power-washed, which can loosen hoses and wiring and clamping. I am extremely frustrated because I just made a purchase I can't presently drive, and trust me I could have purchased a lot of other cars. I was driving out to dinner last night with a date, and then I had to cancel plans because the car isn't drive-able in its present condition and now I am out of a car until I fix it. That's not how a new car purchase should work, and I will advise others about what I experienced because it is extremely irregular and deceptive to sell a collector-esq car that can't even be driven. The part that failed isn't regular wear and tear either, especially not at this mileage. You might have even cleared the code. Personally, I do believe someone did. As someone who has only purchased used cars in the past, and who has owned BMWs before, I can safely say this is irregular maintenance that would never appear on any clean car, but especially not on any car that had been well inspected because it's inexcusable to pop a drive-train issue this short after purchase on a car with this mileage. This isn't a "clean car." When I told Ken this and expressed my warranted frustration, he suggested I was driving the car too hard. However, His sales manager, Scott?, stated too much time had passed. Which excuse is it? I am unsure at this point but surely someone will reply stating I declined a warranty, which they are welcome to do. However, I am also entitled to say they don't inspect vehicles properly. They lie. They clear check engine codes. They will sell you poorly inspected used cars and my experience was poor before during and after the sale. Cannot recommend. Last text is Ken laughing about me for the damage. Sick.

Worked on an out of state purchase. We agreed to terms and I was sent an invoice for deposit that was paid within 24 hours. Car was sold to another buyer within this time frame. In the mean time, my checking account is short the deposit amount while waiting for their refund to come through. I've left this review on Google as well. The 'owner' responded denying I had paid the deposit within 24 hours. I have provided images of both their invoice and my receipt for paying said invoice. The dates and times clearly demonstrate my payment was made with 24 hours. The sales consultant had been in touch with me earlier in the day. She said nothing about the vehicle being sold or viewed. I did not hear from her until an a hour after I paid the deposit, only to inform me they were selling the vehicle. I suspect they found an in state buyer that was financing the vehicle rather than cash, they took the deal that benefited them. Pure speculation on my behalf, of course. Either way, they do not operate in good faith and apparently their owner is either misinformed or has no issues distorting the truth to protect their unprofessional practices.

2025 BMX X5

I purchased an X5 last month. While I love the vehicle, I cannot say enough nice things about how well I was treated by everyone at Sewickley BMW. As a true Yinzer, I am always in jeans, a hoodie and baseball hat. Despite my appearance, I was treated with the utmost respect by everyone with whom I interacted. The closing was by far the best I have ever had compared with my experience at other dealerships. Finally a big shout out do the salesperson who helped me, Dean Greer. Knowledge, helpful and pleasant to work with.

This was my first experience with Sewickley BMW and I have to say that my client advisor Ken Lynch was exceptionally professional, friendly and helpful walking me through my first BEV acquisition. In fact, every contact I had with the Sewickley team members from reception through financing were top notch. After test driving a few models, I settled on the i4 M50. It's been about a month now and I absolutely love this car. I feel confident that this level of satisfaction will carry through to any future encounters with the Sewickley team. Thanks again, Ken!

My new ride!

During this crazy time Ken & Chuck went above and beyond to get me the car I wanted! I thought I'd have to wait even longer! Made an appointment to test drive a 530i and when I got there, it was just what I was looking for! Test drove and fell for the car they chose for me to drive! They made the deal simple and hassle free! Thanks guys, an enjoyable experience!

I usually do not get involved with car buying because of stereotypical experiences. Carlos is amazing! His approach is that he is there to help you make an informed decision and to help you get across the finish line if you choose to buy a car. Long story short they told me due to an insurance/VIN error my vehicle was only worth around $4000 , they said it wasn't worth buying out and the manager himself said they'll just be sending the car to auction rather than trying to deal with the VIN issue because it would be a headache ... Ohh but I happen to look online and they're now selling that same vehicle for $23,000 !!! One second they're telling me it's basically a lemon that they didn't even want to touch BUT NOW they're selling it above market ??? They didn't expect me to want to buy out my lease , they then pulled out this weird scare tactic to convince me the car is practically worthless in the attempt to get me in another lease , now sell my used car , and continuing to profit from me. UPDATE ... Hey Scott ... why does your dealership have 2/5 stars on yelp ?? Pretty funny how much the dealership has gone down since you've been in management!

My…read moredad has bought a few cars from the CarSense in Cranberry and always had a great experience, so he recommended I check the Robinson location out since it's closer to me. First, their website is super easy to use to help you see their current inventory and search/filter by make, model, price, mileage, and even special features. If you create an account, you can also save cars and come back to review and compare them later. They had several hatchbacks in my price range available. I called a few days before I wanted to come to the dealership and spoke with Jaison, who was super friendly and easy to work with. He talked to me about what I was looking for and even sent me a video of one of the cars I was very interested in. When I came out to the dealership, I wanted to test drive some alternatives. Jaison had told me he wouldn't be there when I was planning to arrive, so I worked with Jon, who was also very nice. Jon gave me three cars to test drive, and I ended up going with a 2015 Chevrolet Sonic. It looks brand new and has under 20K miles on it. I'm an idiot and forgot my checkbook at home, but Jon let me fill out all of the paperwork so I would just need to come back in the morning with a check. It took under two hours to test drive and choose a car and do the paperwork, and then 15 minutes for me to get it from them this morning. A few things to keep in mind: 1) They do NOT haggle. It's not what they do, and they're literally not allowed to do it. This isn't a bargaining thing; they just don't do it. So be prepared to pay the exact sticker price. 2) Their financing is based on the vehicle that you choose, so you can't apply before you choose a car. I ended up getting financing elsewhere because I wanted to have a check with me before I went.

It tookseveral phone calls just together through to the service desk. I made an appointment for 7 weeks in advance for the annual inspection. The inspection went well, I only needed one tire to pass, and they didn't have it in stock so I was asked to call back. Again it was impossible to get through to the service desk. I got a message to buy a medical device or it went straight to Car Shop Cranberry. When I spoke with someone at the Cranberry location. I was told they couldn't make any appointments for the Robinson service desk, and they couldn't transfer me to the Robinson service. The clerk said the Robinson shop phones "didn't work". I was going to go into the Robinson service area in person, but on the way, I drove by 5 tire stores. I'll make an appointment at one of those businesses for my one 129.95 tire. And Carshop has lost our entire family's business. We used to only buy our cars their and always had a great experience. Maybe 3 cars bought there in ten years doesn't mean anything to whoever changed Carsense to Carshop. But im not buying a car from someplace that doesn't have phones that work.

The bumper was duct taped on to prevent it from falling off, and our inspection was due this month. The trucking company has been ignoring all attempts to reach them. I was told to swing by the day before to talk to Justin, the service foreman, to determine if anything can be done as a stopgap until repairs can be made. Justin came up with a game plan, but he knew he'd be off the when I brought the car in, so he talked to Robert and some other guys who were on that day about the game plan. They agreed that bolting the bumper to the frame would keep it secure and follow inspection requirements. When I showed up to get the work done, Noah was looped into the plan, and the 3 of those guys literally saved my sanity and ability for my daughter and me to get to work while our insurance company now battles with the trucking company. Robert was the guy who made the repair that allowed them to proceed with the inspection. After 11 days of getting ignored and being given the run around by Western Express trucking, I seriously could have hugged all 3 of them and when they lent a hand. My husband and I have always had excellent service from your dealership, but these 3 men went above and beyond yesterday at a time of great need, and I can't thank them enough.

My wife took the car in to address the safety issues they failed to either own or remedy. Within 1 mile of leaving the service department, my wife driving noticed the hood of the car undulating at 40mph.
