This is my fourth time coming to Eddie and Carlos. I've brought multiple vehicles in the past. I recently took Eddie my 2008 Acura TL Type S. It had a oil leak on the oil pan, all motor mounts were broken. A costly repair but he was straight uo and honest and very easy to work with like usual . The A/C on my car went out and there was a clicked sound everytime I turned my wheel all the way. My step-dad is a very loyal customer when it comes to doing taxes, getting a hair cut, andddd ofcourse taking his car to his mechanic. Well, his mechanic retired and he needed his oil changed. Him and my mom live up the street from Max's Automotive, and honestly this shop has been here oooooo since I was a kid. Any ways, he took his car in for an oil change and he was SO HAPPY when he got his car back. He said he went to pick up his car and they had cleaned up his foggy headlights, cleaned up under the hood and give his tires a little shine. Ofcourse, he told me to go there to get my car fixed. Let me tell you! This is the BEST MECHANIC I've ever went to! They opened the hood, told me exactly what need to be replaced, lifted up my car to show me that my axle was broken, i took it back the next morning, they had ordered brand new parts for me and had it all done that same day. VERY VERY reasonable pricing. When picking it up they showed me that my alternator was making a very loud noise and needed to be replaced too. I took it again and in 1/2 a day DONE. and again, he saved the broken alternator to physically show me what was broken. They are SO TRANSPARENT, SO HELPFUL, SO AFFORDABLE, and honestly go above and beyond. He cleaned under my hood, he fixed my hood latch that was broken without charging. This is a GREAT place! Usually you're not sure with mechanics and you feel like they're riding you off, no not here! He took videos, kept the broken parts, fixed little things he didnt have too and was so good price wise. Last July, as I was heading out of town, my car's AC decided to quit on me--right in the middle of a heatwave. After multiple trips to my usual mechanic and several compressor replacements (both manufacturer and aftermarket), the AC still refused to work consistently. My mechanic suggested it might be an electrical issue beyond his expertise, leaving me frustrated and out of pocket from 3 rentals. That's when my dad suggested I visit Eddie, the guy who had worked on my sister's AC. From the start, Eddie's electrical expertise and genuine concern for resolving my issue were clear, not to mention his great sense of humor. By the next day, Eddie identified the problem- the compressor. But to be thorough (because the last mechanic said he replaced it twice), Eddie checked the entire electrical system to make sure there were no issues. Compared to my prior mechanic, who took multiple visits with no luck, Eddie had the problem diagnosed and fixed almost immediately - meaning my car was not sitting untouched on the lot for days. He even drove the car around a full day to make sure nothing went wrong once the car got hot. While the car was still with him, I figured I'd take care of the motor mounts too, and he completed that just as fast. The turnaround was impressive--I had my car back smoother and better than before within a few days, complete with a cleaned engine and headlights! I came across this shop by sheer luck; it was my first time taking my Fiat to get work done at an actual shop. I needed my whole brake system replaced because I literally drove my car till the brakes locked and had to get it towed. I called right before end of day on a Friday, to see if I could get my car towed, Eddie the owner answered, told me to I can drop it off the next day, Saturday in the AM. My car was towed in the morning and by 1 p.m. my Fiat was ready. I have gotten my car serviced another time by Eddie and his team and same day, work was completed. Eddie was extremely helpful , understanding and a really friendly guy. I visited the shop for some help with my vehicle that was making some weird rattling sounds and needed some brake pad replacements. I had a really bad experience here with the new owner Eddy. I went in to get my lights fixed and he had told me he was gonna fix it, then he called me to give me a price which I agreed on and then calls back hours later to say that he needs to order another part but also continues to tell me that I have no money so he didn't wanna continue the job. Not once did I say I wasn't comfortable with the additional charges but keep in mind he had already put the price up once, so I wanted to know what was the new price for the fix. As I ask for the new price, he starts complaining about the car that I brought in to get worked on saying I shouldn't have gotten it and it was a broken car (he was only asked to fix the light)! When I showed up to pick up my car because he said he wasn't going to fix it, he said that I owed him $250. Beware of this mechanic and avoid it because it was nothing but drama and a waste of my whole day because nothing got done in the end. read more

I literally just picked up my rango.. prior to dropping it off I told Max how to turn it off correctly.. I made sure he understood what I was saying.. I informed him 3x! He said he would call me the following day.. he never did I had to wait until Monday to contact him he didn't reach out until Tues! On Monday his employee answered gave me some details I once again reiterated how to turn off my car correctly I told him 2x! Stated he understood and would go check. When I called max the following day to inform I would not be moving forward with fixing my car (wasn't worth the worth of it) he seemed offended gave me an attitude stated it was $85 for a diagnosis fee I said ok.. when I arrived for pick up my battery was dead and the price went from $85 to $105! And returned with the engine check light! Never will I return! Or recommend! Poor customer service and definitely wasn't even worth the $105! read more
