She was super friendly and attentive. I ordered two jumbo jalapeño sausage kolaches and had it warmed up. They were a good size and made for a delicious breakfast. I also ordered a blueberry donut (my weakness) and to my surprise when I got home, they threw in two little donut holes as well. I loved that it's family owned and that they have a good selection. Especially their kolaches as they had minis, regular, and jumbo; so all the sizes to share. The inside has table for you to enjoy at their place. They have a great selection of cake and yeast donuts to try. So something for everyone. I highly recommend checking them out.

We have frequented Max's for over 25 years. It's important for business owners to know if they are doing something wrong. The recent change in ownership may be a cause of this perhaps they have change the recipe. The last 2 times the donuts have been very different then the delicious donuts they usually serve. Not as soft and the icing is much thicker. Will give it one more shot before we search for another place. read more
