The owner was there and the front desk and he was treating a customer pretty bad he was temperamental telling her if you leave one shoe you have to pay before you leave the lady said I'll be right back I'm going to the car I was waiting he turned to me and he said it should just leave I told her to pay before she leaves, then I said to him no sir she said she'll be right back. Thank you step out of the business went and knock on her window she was in the car she rolled down the window and he said you need to pay before you leave and the lady said I said I'll be right back. He comes back and complains to me about customers who leave and don't pay before they leave. I repeated to her sir I tell you she said she'll be right back here's my receipt can I please have my boots back he looked at me took the receipt and he said is it only one shoe? I repeat it I say it's a pair of shoes it's a pair of boots. Then he looked at me as he was already angry and she turned behind him grab the boots and gave them to me the zipper had a hole and I point that to him and then I offer will you like me to come back tomorrow so you have the time to fix that? Then he said I'll fix it right now because I never want to see you again not tomorrow not ever! I was surprised and I asked him are you the owner and he said yes, I asked him is this the reason why you feel you can be rude to customers his answer was yes! It was humiliating took me by surprise I did not know what to say other than take my boots and leave.

Although they weren't done by the initial schedule they forecasted, I wasn't in a rush so the key for you is to be patient and just let them do their thing. OMG! My review is wayyyy overdue! (About a year) I thought I…read morehad one posted once I picked up my Harley Davidson boots! I've put some miles and smiles on my tall leather HD boots. And began to notice my soles would slip from the ground especially when I would start reversing my bike into a parking stall. Although I'm not at all a gravel type kinda gal- but the slightest ricks on pavement would freak me out while pushing my bike back into a stall. Not trying to lose control of my custom painted motorcycle while looking cool, ya know? LOL I've heard so many great things about Bonita Shoe Repair, but, I wanted to see their past reviews on re soling motorcycle boots. Although the one I read, think it was from Yelp- wasn't as current- but, when I made a post on my socials for recommendations- plenty of my friends in the moto community spoke highly of BSR. I didn't wanna buy a new pair. Not that cost was an issue. It's just that would mean I would need to literally break into new leather. And I didn't wanna do that! When I walked in and met Erica- she was amazing! We chatted for a bit and she showed me two types of motorcycle soles. She had the Vibram catalog and I preferred a sole with some meaty tread. I dropped off my summer motorcycle boots and wasn't in a rush for pick up, since I had a pair of winter insulated motorcycle boots at home. The price was very reasonable- about $100?, if I remember correctly. Erica sent me a text the day before the suggested pick up date, and asked if this other date would work. Which was fine with me, for the lil delay. Because like I said, I wasn't in a rush. But, the fact she communicated with me in advance and apologized for the delay, goes a long way. Definitely satisfied with the service. If memory serves me right- I saw a car cover at the shop that they were walking on. And I could swear, they even fix back pack zippers? But, definitely call ahead for other services they could provide! Thank you so much, Erica!

It's so great to have a place that does good work on shoes and leather goods. I brought several belts in for repair and the price was super reasonable. Much cheaper than buying new belts.

I had a bit of a nightmare moment with my Bottega Veneta bag... literally right after getting it, I…read moreaccidentally spilled skincare oil on it. I was devastated. I contacted another cobbler first, told to send photos, waited for callbacks, called them again and got vague answers about how delicate the leather was and how cleaning it could spread the stain... they said they'll think of ways on what to do and call me back and then never heard back again. Thankfully, I found Chito's Shoe Repair online and reached out by text with photos of my bag. Within 5 minutes, they responded and asked me to call. Jenny spoke with me personally and was incredibly patient, kind, and reassuring. She didn't make unrealistic promises, but she took the time to explain that she wouldn't fully know the outcome until she saw the bag in person. I was extremely stressed, and her honesty mixed with compassion immediately made me feel better. What truly amazed me was that even though the only time I could get there was after their hours, Jenny still accommodated me and allowed me to bring the bag in. That level of kindness and care is rare. When I arrived, she carefully inspected the bag and walked me through exactly what her cleaning process would be. She explained everything in detail and set realistic expectations while still making me feel hopeful. At that point, I honestly thought I may have ruined my bag permanently.. especially because in my panic, I had already tried a few things myself that probably made the stain worse. Two days later, I picked up my bag and it looked like NOTHING had ever happened. I genuinely could not believe it. The stain was gone, and my bag looked beautiful again. What stood out even more was how much Jenny genuinely cared about educating me. She taught me about leather care, explained how leathers react , and even gave me advice on a wallet project I was trying to fix myself. She wasn't trying to upsell me or push me to bring everything in for repair -- she actually wanted me to understand how to care for my own items. That says so much about her character and integrity. I also met her husband Chris, and together they are just wonderful people. Warm, knowledgeable, honest, and clearly passionate about what they do. I'm beyond grateful I found someone I can truly trust with my luxury pieces. Thank you again, Jenny and Chris, for saving my bag and for treating me with so much kindness throughout the entire process!
