Although they weren't done by the initial schedule they forecasted, I wasn't in a rush so the key for you is to be patient and just let them do their thing. And began to notice my soles would slip from the ground especially when I would start reversing my bike into a parking stall. Although I'm not at all a gravel type kinda gal- but the slightest ricks on pavement would freak me out while pushing my bike back into a stall. Not trying to lose control of my custom painted motorcycle while looking cool, ya know? LOL I've heard so many great things about Bonita Shoe Repair, but, I wanted to see their past reviews on re soling motorcycle boots. Although the one I read, think it was from Yelp- wasn't as current- but, when I made a post on my socials for recommendations- plenty of my friends in the moto community spoke highly of BSR. I didn't wanna buy a new pair. Not that cost was an issue. It's just that would mean I would need to literally break into new leather. And I didn't wanna do that! When I walked in and met Erica- she was amazing! We chatted for a bit and she showed me two types of motorcycle soles. She had the Vibram catalog and I preferred a sole with some meaty tread. I dropped off my summer motorcycle boots and wasn't in a rush for pick up, since I had a pair of winter insulated motorcycle boots at home. The price was very reasonable- about $100?, if I remember correctly. Erica sent me a text the day before the suggested pick up date, and asked if this other date would work. Which was fine with me, for the lil delay. Because like I said, I wasn't in a rush. But, the fact she communicated with me in advance and apologized for the delay, goes a long way. Definitely satisfied with the service. If memory serves me right- I saw a car cover at the shop that they were walking on. And I could swear, they even fix back pack zippers? But, definitely call ahead for other services they could provide! Thank you so much, Erica!

It's so great to have a place that does good work on shoes and leather goods. I brought several belts in for repair and the price was super reasonable. Much cheaper than buying new belts.

I had a bit of a nightmare moment with my Bottega Veneta bag... literally right after getting it, I…read moreaccidentally spilled skincare oil on it. I was devastated. I contacted another cobbler first, told to send photos, waited for callbacks, called them again and got vague answers about how delicate the leather was and how cleaning it could spread the stain... they said they'll think of ways on what to do and call me back and then never heard back again. Thankfully, I found Chito's Shoe Repair online and reached out by text with photos of my bag. Within 5 minutes, they responded and asked me to call. Jenny spoke with me personally and was incredibly patient, kind, and reassuring. She didn't make unrealistic promises, but she took the time to explain that she wouldn't fully know the outcome until she saw the bag in person. I was extremely stressed, and her honesty mixed with compassion immediately made me feel better. What truly amazed me was that even though the only time I could get there was after their hours, Jenny still accommodated me and allowed me to bring the bag in. That level of kindness and care is rare. When I arrived, she carefully inspected the bag and walked me through exactly what her cleaning process would be. She explained everything in detail and set realistic expectations while still making me feel hopeful. At that point, I honestly thought I may have ruined my bag permanently.. especially because in my panic, I had already tried a few things myself that probably made the stain worse. Two days later, I picked up my bag and it looked like NOTHING had ever happened. I genuinely could not believe it. The stain was gone, and my bag looked beautiful again. What stood out even more was how much Jenny genuinely cared about educating me. She taught me about leather care, explained how leathers react , and even gave me advice on a wallet project I was trying to fix myself. She wasn't trying to upsell me or push me to bring everything in for repair -- she actually wanted me to understand how to care for my own items. That says so much about her character and integrity. I also met her husband Chris, and together they are just wonderful people. Warm, knowledgeable, honest, and clearly passionate about what they do. I'm beyond grateful I found someone I can truly trust with my luxury pieces. Thank you again, Jenny and Chris, for saving my bag and for treating me with so much kindness throughout the entire process!

Don's Alterations - Don's magic on my houndstooth coat jacket--fits perfectly and makes me feel like a million bucks! Highly recommend Don.

I will likely try a business shop vs home shop next time. I called multiple times and arranged for a fitting to alter two jackets. First Don said he was available the next day and to call back. I did and arranged to stop by, kept asking for the address, and finally he gave it to me, but called back later and ask I stop by later that day. When I tried again in the afternoon, he gave me an address and said his sister is helping him and will meet with me. Went to the home and the man introduced himself as Don so I was so confused. He said a business partner is sending him leadals, maybe that is Don? The woman (Loan) was very sweet who did my alterations. Anyway, whoever I ended up being sent to was ok but it wasnt Don and cant find her listing to leave a review there. Leaving this here so others are aware they may be sent elsewhere instead of Don. The alterations for 2 jackets were ok. One jacket was perfect but the other was looser and not quite as tailored. Price was cheaper than standard so I was not too upset, you get what you pay for.

I dropped them off on 12/15/2025 and was told the turnaround would be 6-8 weeks. After more than two months, I received someone else's shoes instead of mine. When I called, the representative implied this kind of mix-up happens regularly, which was concerning. I returned the incorrect shoes and was told that if mine weren't found, they would send a replacement. Unfortunately, that process dragged on for weeks with repeated delays, little communication, and no urgency, even after my sandals had been missing for more than three months. When replacement sandals finally arrived on 3/25/2026, they were the wrong model (narrow width with a standard footbed instead of the wide soft footbed I had originally owned), forcing me to start the replacement process all over again. I didn't receive the correct shoes until 4/14--nearly four months after dropping off my original pair. The customer service experience was just as disappointing. Emails were never answered, and I often couldn't reach anyone by phone because the company regularly switched to voicemail well before its posted closing time. On multiple occasions I called more than an hour before closing and was either transferred to voicemail or couldn't get through at all. I was repeatedly promised updates and shipping tracking numbers that never arrived, and every step of the process required me to follow up myself. While the company ultimately made things right by sending replacement sandals, the lack of communication, repeated mistakes, and extremely slow resolution made this an incredibly frustrating experience that I can't recommend.
