Just came here for the first time on a late Saturday morning with my ten-year-old son and girlfriend. Very small space, only a few tables, lots of natural light. We tried the waffle with bananas, strawberries, and chocolate, beef empanadas, Huevos rancheros, a cappuccino and a mango smoothie. Everything was excellent! Fresh and delicious. The people working there were incredibly kind and friendly. We live very close by and we will definitely be back!

I have been there twice for breakfast, trying a range of dishes along with my partner -- I'm very fond of their breakfast quesadillas, with scrambled eggs and jack cheese; she goes for the waffles/pancakes and fruit -- and found everything pretty wonderful. Nice touches abound: the guacamole is fresh and not loaded down with too much onion; the home fries are perfectly cooked, not under or overdone, but expertly firm; the agua frescas are delicious without being too sweet. Food is thoughtfully plated and presented, and the small wait staff are unflaggingly upbeat and helpful. Also, for fellow vegetarians who love Mexican food but have to be wary of the beans, I spoke with the chef, who promised me they use no lard in their cooking. The beans are made with corn oil only. He said they would be adding rice as well, but it would also be vegetarian, no chicken broth. For carnivores, there is a full menu to keep you occupied, so no worries there. They also have a display case of homemade desserts, including flan, and two types of tres leches, one traditional, and one with chocolate. On a sunny, mid-spring Saturday morning, it's an inspired choice.

I was happily surprised by the food here: it's pretty good and fresh tasting. Husband got the beef…read morebiria tacos and he enjoyed it (he loved drinking all the extra juice)! I had the shrimp tacos and honestly they were not what I was expecting but maybe that was my fault (i though they were going to be hot, but it contained all cold ingredients: cold shrimp, sour cream, queso fresco, cold chopped tomatoes and cold flour tortillas). I'd still come here again but would just order something different. We did have amazing elote, so I would suggest ordering that: it's $7 per corn cob but totally worth it! For dessert with had the churros with ice cream and that was the most amazing dessert ever! We sat outside and enjoyed the calmness but service was a little slow because of that. They have very nice decor inside so I wouldn't mind sitting inside too.

Seem to do a good takeout business as well, as we saw DoorDashers coming and going to the little counter all night. They have a little display case with to-go desserts at the hostess desk. (TRES LECHES!!!) Soda's are all bottled, not fountain. No alcohol, but you can BYOB and add it to some mixers they offer - like margarita by the glass or pitcher. Parking lot is tiny for a strip mall that is almost exclusively dining options, but we managed to find a spot in the back by the dumpsters. The overall experience checked every box. Give it a try!
