I have had a couple of their products that got sent in the mail on one occasion and I was pleased with the quality of the candy that made up some of the gift. I had the red licorice and the chocolate covered pretzels. They had a distinctive flavor...living up to what they are. I say this because a lot of times when you get items in the mail of this nature... depending on the company of course ... the candy... cookies... whatever tastes like cardboard. No flavor. No taste. Not anything remotely enjoyable about it. It just as well gets tossed. But not in the case with Olive & Cocoa. The products have a taste, are of decent quality and make for nice...perhaps a guilty indulgence... kind of sweet treats.

I got my mother-in-law flowers from here and loved that an anemone flower was used. I didn't know what the bouquet would look like so it was a total surprise. I liked the simple/modern vase that came with it and how it wasn't the typical/cheap see-thru glass one you get from most bouquet places. The bad: For $65, I was expecting a slightly larger bouquet with more than the 6-7 flowers that were in my order but I understand that rarer flowers cost more. The florist called/texted my recipient to deliver the flowers but I think I would have liked it to just be dropped off at the front door instead for a better surprise. I think how it works is they want to deliver it and make sure that your recipient is available to receive the order. The interesting: You place your order thru email and get an invoice maybe a week later (or at least I did) from which you pay online.
