They were quick to take payment from my elderly mother, but the wheelchair delivered was incorrect and did not meet her needs. Despite this, they have refused to refund the down payment. The delivery representative was supposed to bring the wheelchair inside, ensure it fit properly, and confirm it was suitable for her, but none of that was done. Their customer service has been unhelpful throughout the process, and they are now refusing to reimburse the money already paid. If I could give them zero stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Without getting into a lot of details bottom line is my bi pap went on the fritz. My doctor sent them the required info to get an approval through medicare. This started back in August and still no bi pap. They do not return calls. They say they will reach out to the DR but do not. They say they will take care of everything and I never hear another word. Three month this has gone on. When you call the Jacksonville office 9 times out of 10 you get transferred to the Orlando office and of course that office does not give them the info like they say they will. Also, they continue to send and charge me and medicare for supplies that I cannot use even though I requested a stop. Fraud! read more

Total lack of service at this place. I e been here twice today and leaving empty handed. The service is horrible and I watched the person before me get turned away as well. In my case Mayo sent me here and Medicare said I had all needed paperwork. Mayhughs will not fill the oxygen order I think because they do t want to do the paperwork and instructions on a Friday. I was left waiting a long time only to hear. "Someone' told her they don't do oxygen for this issue. When I asked who someone was I was told a billing clerk. Jeez. My wife and I bought their air concentrator and unfortunately after using it twice to go see drs., my wife passed away after 2 yrs of bad illness. I called and Cody(or whoever he is) said they would buy it back. He said he would have shipping send me a shipping label 5...that's right 5 times and never did. Then when I called I was given the run around. I see they sell used equipment but won't buy back their own stuff. How hard would it be to to give a 30% refund on $2000.00 after 2 uses and get positive reviews. Apparently, it's pretty hard. No wonder they aren't listed amonst the best. Worst oxygen supply company around. My portable oxygen machine is not working properly and they are refusing to send me another one. They said just change the cannula and that will fix it. They will send out the wrong sized items from the third party company that handles their toll free number. Then when you contact Mayhugh's locally, they tell you come by and they will replace them. I have to say that my experience with Mayhugh reflects nothing less than a bad faith attempt and what I believe to clearly be malpractice. My mom is a CPAP patient and has been affected by the Phillips recall. This goes back several years now, but my mom has been without her ordered medical equipment for several years now and Mayhugh Just keeps promising me that she is at the top of the list for a replacement. Years later, for essential medical equipment, and they still can't service her needs as they promised? Doesn't this sound like the definition of malpractice? A completely unethical company who is in it solely for the money and could care less if your family member parishes because of their lack of action and lies. I have yet another call out to speak with a member of management, let's see if I get the same liar or if they assign a new liar... Or maybe I'll actually find someone that will assist in helping my mother rather than causing her harm. Tommy Fletcher has been made aware of this and so far has taken no action to correct the problems. I have Medicare and AARP secondary insurance, both are paid from my social security. I formed by Mayhugh that Medicare would approve new supplies. I received a bill from Mayhugh. Medicare pay the bill for the supplies. Mayhugh said I had a lapse in coverage on my secondary insurance. I called AARP they never received a bill Mayhugh. Medicare pay their share of the invoice. The person I spoke to a Mayhugh was so rude and arrogant. She said Mayhugh never received payment from Medicare, but Medicare send me the monthly statement showing it was paid. Instead of resubmitting to AARP or refund the amount paid to Medicare, Mayhugh refuses to deal with the problem. read more

I can honestly say that from the start to the end, this company has been lackluster and found wanting in every customer service aspect that matters. Not only the day I got the equipment and no training or conversation at all regarding usage, servicing, etc. They have been completely non existent when it comes to servicing the equipment, calling back, or even picking up the equipment when they themselves set the date! Oh and now they said they won't accept my insurance either! Welol, they can either take my insurance or not get paid, their choice. I'm now personally driving 3hrs to return this equipment myself. all I can say is I'll let my hate fire rage fuel my vehicle to and from there and back home. If I ever need oxygen again, I'd rather learn to live without it than go back there. read more

Waited 4 hours on my portable oxygen concentrator as the regular oxygen concentrator shut down. Then they told me I had to call the Daytona Beach office. No one knows what they're doing at either office. I'm still waiting for a service person to contact me. And it's 1:50 am. I have so much anxiety as the portable concentrator is at 59%. I'll have to go to the hospital if they don't show up soon. If you ever have a chance to go with Mayhugh Medical. Don't. They don't care about you as a person. Horrible customer service! Just got off the phone with a rude lady from billing from their Jacksonville office. I had questions about my bill and why I was getting charged monthly and she said " do you want me to send you a box to ship your machine back since you are unhappy". Was talked down to and interrupted. Finished the call more frustrated than when it started. I hope I never have to call this place again. Was told she would send a note to the Daytona office and "hope they will remember to call you back." What a joke. Even my Pulmonologist office does not like this company and has received numerous complaints and is looking into finding a new company to use for the patient's medical supplies. read more

My Mom uses Mayhugh's. They are are always prompt answering her calls and getting back with her if they can't answer her questions about equipment. She is on oxygen 24/7 and the equipment is up to date and the maintenance is great. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs medical equipment. The staff are always pleasant and delivery lets you know what time they will be there. Just make sure to ask if your insurance is accepted. Awesome company!! read more

Mayhugh's is great to work with. I was prescribed a CPAP machine and they promptly called to arrange a time to come by the house to install it and teach me how to use it. Thomas Johnson came out, walked me through the process on how CPAP machines work, got it up and running and connected to the network and spent time with me showing me how I could adjust the machine myself. I was delayed in getting started with it and forgot most of what he showed me. Thomas came out a second time and adjusted the machine to my needs and again walked me through the process. He as knowledgeable, patient, thorough and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help get me started. I'd definitely recommend Mayhughs and Thomas to anyone. read more

Excellent service! I was called to set up an appointment as soon as they received my paperwork. My appointment was scheduled for 2 days after that. I switched to Mayhugh's for my C-PAP supplies several years ago. I had been using a large corporate medical supply company and found it way too difficult to speak to someone at the local office and decided to find a supplier who had people, not machines, answering the phone. I get my supplies every 3 months and when I have an issue or a question, I can call and speak with someone who can help me. I'm very satisfied and plan an staying with Mayhuge. read more

They are awesome anytime I call I can talk to someone and they get my situation fixed and I'm always having what I need all my equipment. This place is ridiculous. They NEVER answer their phone so I drove over there to find the door locked and a sign on the door stating you had to have an appointment. Would have been nice to have that on their answering machine. My provider finally got through to them and I was to go back to pick up Bipap supplies. They handed them through the door to me and would not let me in. When I got home it became known that I was short an item although it was charged out to my insurance co. Tried to contact them regarding but of course they did not answer their phone. This was the final straw for me, as I have always had insurance billing problems with them. They repeatedly overcharged my insurance co. I am going elsewhere. I really don't know how they stay in business. read more

TERRIBLE!! my mother needed oxygen we wondered why after the guy left nothing was coming through the tubes...THE TANK WAS EMPTY!! We had to call them out 3 times before we finally got that fixed. They never explained to us correctly how to use the equipment. Then we had to call again because the regulator on oxygen broke. We ended up with a different company, Fletcher's AWESOME company, they thoroughly explained everything gave us extra equipment because nose tubes and 50 foot wires need changed every 10 days. If you are a CPAP Medicare patient, be very careful to make sure that your paperwork is properly in order.
