    Lamb Birria bowl
    Minh D.

I'm so impressed!! Going to FL from TX, have little expectations on Mexican food but I was proven wrong because Mayita was amazing. I got the lamb birria bowl and it was so tender ans well seasoned. Their rice bowls are very much like chipotle style in components but fresher. Avocadoes are fresh and tasty and they have a bunch of different kinds of hot sauces and salsa on the side. Plaintain chips are good but I wish they were warm/hot. my friends like their beef burritos a lot too. Their ranking was lamb then beef, pork, chicken. Love that the menu is quite simple and easy to order. The staffs are so friendly and helpful and location is right across the Castillo de San Marcos fortress. Would def come back.

The food was really good! The server seemed very overwhelmed but nice guy! He was initially annoyed because we wanted water no ice but he slowly warmed up to us. Nice cute cozy place. The lamb bowl was sooooo good! The quesadilla was really good too! The chicken bowl was okay - kinda bland.

Unbelievable Yelp said this was a number one restaurant for Mexican food as close to me as I am on Vilano Beach, which is ridiculous cause this place is awful when they don't give you everything you order to their website is terrible. They have a section that says no and then you have 13 items to pick from that says no to and then if you don't do anything or you're confused and you order on the telephone with them, they give you a completely basic piece of yuck And they don't give you everything you order if you come in to pick up like a local wood just awful. Look at the picture there's a section that you have to say no to these 13 items which we don't understand we asked them verbally and you don't get anything just awful.

Mexican casually served on disposable dishes. Queso birria was excellent and traditional prepared with lamb. Great view of the Metanzas River.

We stopped in for lunch and it was well worth it. The food was delicious and our server, Tammi was wonderful. The location just beside the water gave us a lovely view as well

One of the coolest touches? A TV disguised as a piece of art that's actually a live stream of downtown St. Augustine. Such a fun, unique detail! Now let's talk food I ordered the shrimp and grits tacos, and WOW--they were packed with flavor. The grits added this unexpected crunch that worked so well with the shrimp. The textures blended perfectly and made every bite interesting. My husband went for the Miyagi beef tacos... and let's just say there were zero leftovers. He cleaned his plate, which says everything. Great vibes, creative food, and a memorable experience all around. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

It got pretty busy while we were there, but impressively, they were running with just one server--and he absolutely held it down. Despite the crowd, he stayed attentive, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly, which really stood out. The menu is where things get especially interesting--unique, playful, and definitely not your standard fare. I tried the chicken apple pie sandwich, which was as unexpected as it sounds. It was fun, different, and surprisingly good! It is one of those dishes you won't find just anywhere. Husband loved his upscale bologna sandwich and the waffle fries were yummy! Overall, Treylor Park delivers on atmosphere and creativity. It's a great spot if you're looking for something a little outside the box with a fun, energetic vibe and memorable food.
