Conveniently located in the Boca Town Center mall and attached to Rolex stopped by on a weekend to look at their engagement rings. The store wasn't overly crowded or busy. To preface this review, the Rolex store is part of the Mayors Jewelry store in the mall. It is in an annex next door with its own sales teams and it is pretty in the store with a few display cases. I was surprised that it is almost impossible to buy a new Rolex and walk out of the store with it the day of shopping. It must be nice to basically have a showroom of watches for display only and then you create a registry of what you like and then the waiting game starts. It could take anywhere from 2 days to 2 years for the watch to become available. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As unique as that seems, the salesperson my husband and I had was wonderful. Charles was super patient as if he had anything else to do but show us all the options online and help to create the free registry.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The display watches in store are there to try on for size and style. If we were interested in a pre owned model, they have a small selection in the main shopping area in Mayors. We brought my husband's ulysses Nardin watch into Mayors to have parts of his band replaced. It is definitely a process. They were very careful to take pictures and record everything having to do with this watch since it is an expensive item. They wanted to be completely transparent in fixing it. They ordered the pieces and called us to give us the price. We agreed and when the pieces came in, the representative Philipe took complete control of the entire operation. He started to replace the pieces, and unfortunately the screw got stuck, and he could not fix it himself. He took the watch himself to the Ulysses Nardin corporate office a few miles down the block for them to work on it. It took a couple of weeks till we got a call back. However, it was totally fixed. Felipe called us and we came back to Mayor's to have it fitted properly on his wrist. Felipe could not have been nicer, offering us coffee or water while we were waiting. Mayor's is a first class operation in the Boca town center mall. They have beautiful watches and showcase other gorgeous designer jewelry as well as other pieces under their own brand. As a long time Boca Raton resident, I have been shopping at this jeweler store for years, mainly buying nice things for others. However, since covid hit, I decided it was time for me to splurge on a nice watch for myself and I wanted a classic Rolex Submariner However, I did not realize how challenging it is to obtain a Rolex watch as there is a tremendous undersupply that is directly intersecting with a tremendous global demand for luxury Rolex watches. So, I guess I picked a tough time to treat myself and when I went to Mayor's, there was not a single men's Rolex watch for sale. However, I was VERY fortunate to be introduced to "Richard Granatoor" who gently and professionally explained the facts of life to me for buying a Rolex. Apparently, there is a huge industry where people buy Rolexes and then immediately sell them online for a profit and all authorized dealers are trying to avoid that as it really hurts people like me that want to buy one to enjoy themselves and not flip them for a quick profit. Therefore, to be put on "the wait list" there is a simple vetting process where the dealer tries to determine if you are sincere with your request or are some shady watch flipper. Fortunately, I passed the test as several months after my initial request to be put on the wait list for any Submariner (there are three different ones) I received a call that a beautiful submariner no date was available if I wanted it. Of course, I said yes, but was out of town and asked them to hold it a few days until I get home and they agreed. I am attaching a few pics of my Rolex from a fun day off when I went exploring the beach near The Boca Resort Resort near sunset and I am very happy with my selection and actually prefer the "no date" Submariner over the cyclops date versions. So, in summary, if you want a Rolex, first BE NICE, then show Mayors some love by shopping for other items, be very patient, consider buying a Tudor (same manufacturer as Rolex), and don't ever think about flipping for profit. The waitlist is generally one year or more and I was on the wait list for about 6-8 months for my Submariner request. If you want other versions, the waitlist could be several years or more, but don't blame Mayor's as they apparently sell every watch that Rolex sends them and they are competing with every authorized dealer in the world and, like every other dealer, they simply don't have any inventory (as of December 2021) and Rolex has stated they refuse to compromise quality to increase quantity. read more

Purchased a new Rolex from this location 3 weeks ago from this date. Not the experience that is expected when purchasing a new Rolex, after a few back and forth, the sales person sat the watch on a small counter space, took my payment and sent me off. The first time I used the watch after the purchase, when I set the time to 6 o'clock just to check and make sure that the watch properly aligns the hour and minute hand with the the dial as ALL watches do or should especially expensive timepieces. I immediately noticed that the watch did not align and was off. Brought the watch back to Mayors a couple of days after purchase after I left work and showed it to the sales person and was told she could not see what I was seeing and since I did not have the receipt or the warranty card on me there was nothing they could do. Brought back the watch the following week with the receipt and the warranty card and after insisting with the sales person in regards to the malfunction of the watch that is clearly visible and the sales person going back into to the back offices to show the watch to the director, tech and etc. she finally agreed to send the watch back to Rolex after me persisting that a brand new watch should not be unaligned. Requested a manager call me in regards to this. Received a call back from the store manager Alex Perdomo, I explained him the situation and his response to me is that he has worked with watches for 29 years and has "NEVER" heard of a watch aligning the hand with the dial. Says that there is NO guarantee from Rolex or anyone else that a watch is supposed to align. Received a call from the Rolex technician in New York where the watch was sent back to and the tech advised the moment they saw the watch they can immediately notice that the hour hand does not align with the dial. The tech apologized on behalf of Rolex over and over again and says this watch should never have left the manufacturer and should not have been sold like this. Guaranteed me this would be fixed and correctly immediately. If you are looking to purchase a luxury watch especially a Rolex and expect great customer service, knowledge and great detail I would NOT recommend going to Mayors in Boca Raton. read more

It has warranty on it plus Svetlana said they can clean my watch whenever I'm shopping at the mall. I walked into Mayos about a year ago looking for a few Rolexes. I knew what was going on in the market and that it was (and still is) very difficult to get most models. Meltina and Rich explained to me how the supply/ demand works and of course they want to be selling them just as badly as the customers want them. I ended up going with a Tudor BB58 and will wait my turn like everyone else. Both of them, as well as Svetlana, are knowledgeable and kind. I occasionally stop in if I'm around the area and they are happy to let me try on models I'm on the waitlist for even though they could easily ignore me since they already know they can't speed things up. Tudor needed a warranty service. On phone, The service is no charge but it's $95 to ship..but, we'll take care of that for you. Wow great, be right there. In store, its $95 to ship. Oh ok, person on phone told me they'd take care of it. Let me check..you're right, we'll take care of it. Literally 4.5 months later (not Mayors fault) I pick it up. Ok, it was $95 to ship. Oh, when I dropped it off the manager said they'd take care of it. No, it's $95. Now, I don't care if they want to charge or not, but my watch shouldn't be held hostage after I was told otherwise. I easily could have gone to another AD (Tourneau for instance) and had it shipped without charge. But instead the promised one thing and charged another. The second hand on my Tag Heuer was acting up. It would reset at a number other than 12. I thought perhaps it was a calibration problems. I saw there was this store in the mall that sold Tags, so I went to have it looked at. The lady told me they would take a look and call me. A week and a half went by and no call. I decide to stop in and see what the verdict was. They told me they had put in a new battery. I was thinking that didn't seem to be the problem, since the rest of the watch was working fine and keeping time perfectly. But, I'm not a watch...smith... repair person, or whatever. "It'll be $45.00 for the battery." Yikes... but alright. I open the bag with my watch... and the second hand was still on a random number. I was like, what exactly did you do when you looked at it? It's still not fixed. She says "oh" and takes it in the back. I see through the glass that a guy looks at it for two seconds and then gives it back to her. When she shows me the watch again, it's working fine. So, why the one star review? Well, 1) What good are you if you try to give someone a watch that is clearly still not working? 2) Why would someone take their watch just to get dishonest treatment? It would be one thing, if they gave me a new battery thinking it would fix the problem, but they clearly didn't do it to make anything better... they didn't even bother to look at the watch at all. They only placed me in a position where I would be less likely to have them take their battery out and more likely to just pay the money to get my watch then and there. I didn't ask for a new battery and how did they know I hadn't just place a new battery in it a few months prior. In fact, I'm not entirely sure they even switched the battery out for a new one at all. The battery it had was still working perfectly. It could be months before it dies and I even begin to think I was duped. Tons of places to buy watches an get them fixed. Do not go here, since you have no idea what you're getting or what they'll try to trick you into getting. read more

Went there to trade in a Rolex and buy a new one. While my salesman was great, pretty much everyone else was horrible. The cashier ringing up my sale did not know how to ring it up properly. She used up so much paper in her cash register that I am surprised if FL has any trees left. I called later to clarify that the sale had been rung up properly and the manager with whom I spoke did not call me back to follow up. I had to go back to the store and speak to another manager. I finally wrote someone in charge of that store and was told that I would be sent a gift for my trouble. I never received it. I even had to contact the folks at Mayor's more than once just to get the ownership documents for my new watch so that I could insure it. Sad, bad, poor customer service. I can find better ways to spend my money. This store is not the only Rolex dealer around. I I will NEVER shop at that store again. Apparently, my business was not important to the people there.
