The cleaners lost my pants, and I've been trying to get this resolved since the end of April. They admitted they would pay me for the lost pants, yet here it is July 3, and I still haven't received a single penny. To make matters worse, I also paid them to dry clean the very pants they lost, and I haven't even been refunded that charge. For nearly three months I've been given nothing but delays and empty promises. A business that loses a customer's clothing should take responsibility and make it right promptly. Instead, I've had to repeatedly follow up with no resolution. Customer service means standing behind your work and treating customers with honesty and respect. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with Vicks Cleaners. If this is how they handle a simple mistake, I can't recommend trusting them with your clothing. A single quarter starts the dryer. No detergent vending machine, but you can buy a baggie for one load from the proprietor for 50 cents. Drop off your duds and they will launder them for 75 cents per pound, 10 pound minimum. You can also have alterations done, get patches sewn on, or get your stuff dry cleaned, pressed, and starched here. Not necessarily in that order. I didn't see any prices for any of those posted, so ask before you act.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! I stopped by on Jan…read more30th to ask if they could replace the zipper in a leather jacket that had broken. They said yes but it would take a couple of weeks to get done. At that point I wasn't in a hurry, so I left the jacket with them. On Feb 13th I stopped by to pick up my jacket and the woman behind the counter said that it wasn't ready and would take another week to get done. I was out of town the next week so I asked my girlfriend to pick it up for me. When she got there on Feb 21st the same woman that I dropped the jacket off with and spoken to on Feb 13th told her that it would be yet another week. So when I returned I stopped in on the Feb 27th and you guessed it once again she told me that it wasn't ready and that she would make sure that it was ready the following Tues (Mar 3rd). After not hearing from them on the day she promised it would be ready I called them on Wed Mar 4th and the very same woman that I had always spoken to informed me that they were unable to get a replacement zipper and that I needed to come pick up my jacket. As a result of their lying to me for over a month I am now leaving for a week long motorcycle trip WITHOUT a zipper in one of the sleeves in my leather jacket.
