This was a carry out order: Food was just ok...The ground beef in the chimichangas had a weird texture and taste. The guacamole was way past its prime and not cheap (5.75 for a small comtainer) the side of spinach was way more onions and tomatoes than spinach...the side of mushrooms was mixed with a lot of onions which is not listed in the description. The white cheese dip is pricey but so not worth it anymore...it was thin milky and didn't even taste like real cheese. The chips were cold and hard and the cilantro on everything tasted way more like parsley. Sad to give a bad review but with service charges it was close to $50 for two plates that were sub par! So I ordered just a simple taco salad with JUST lettuce, shredded cheese, pico, guac, and sour cream. The guy who took my order over the phone continued to ask, "So, no beans or meat?" and I repeated this THREE. TIMES. and he continued to ask the same thing even after I asked him to read it back to me. I'm aware I could have checked once I got my order but I had a shred of good faith after having repeated my specifications three times over the phone. When I opened it my salad consisted of lettuce, queso, and a shit ton of sour cream and tomatoes. Made a call in for a large queso dip and an a la carte chicken quesadilla (so no rice and beans) . When I arrived I was handed my items and told the total was $27.13, wow that's a lot for two items...and then I realized I was handed an entire drink cup of $20 queso! After having to talk to 3 different people we were rudely talked to about the sizes...which were small which was 4 Oz. For $4, or double that at 8 Oz....not sure why that wasn't explained over the phone, I opted for 2 4 Oz. Cups (so I got 8 Oz. Total) and I was handed $4 in cash back...they acted like they did me a favor, I should've been refunded $12 and the $20 queso should've been explained over the phone.... Inflation and gas are through the roof and I still ate out and was cheated out of my hard earned money. Very disappointed in how all of this was handled. And never in my life have I seen a $20 queso on a menu. read more

Well if the can find someone who knows how to cook Mexican dishes they'll do better. This has to be a temporary thing I experienced Saturday night cuz this sort of not Mexican food can't be what they've been serving all this time. I got an opened face chili Reno - what!? No. the Chili gets stuffed with cheese...A burrito with beef that was NOT COOKED in sauce.It was hamburger meat, I kid you not, And an enchilada that had no cheese at all and the ground beef again was hamburger and was not cooked in sauce. My son and I sat down order water ,this is what we drink. we don't drink soda ,I keep a menu because I needed to make a To go order for my husband ,once they bring our food so when I pay that will be ready .. The salsa and queso was most likely from a jar, and they gave our party of 2 about a handful of tortilla chips. Everything tasted the same - no flavor whatsoever. Husband had soft tacos, I had fundido with beef tips. You couldn't tell the difference between the two. Also, this place is extremely crowded. We had a rude family stand and chat beside our table for the entire duration of our meal - their backsides were hovering precariously near our queso, and yet they thought nothing of it. Although this is not the fault of the restaurant - just saying the place is very small. This includes the parking lot. Also, they don't serve alcohol. Go somewhere else for your margaritas and Dos Equis. Lincolnton is weird like that. read more

Very good food. The chips are perfectly thin and crisp and the mild salsa is very nice and fresh. Just basic salsa without all the unnecessary chunkiness. The kids and grownups all enjoy it. The prices are fair and the menu is simple. The queso and rice are also very good. They do a good job keeping the basics delicious and simple and the staff is very attentive and kind. I came with a group of 5 people and my waitress didn't understand anything we were trying to say. We had to repeat ourselves multiple times. Then when our food finally came out half of it was wrong. We sent one order back and it came back right. The second order we sent back because it had a hair in it came back with the wrong meat in it.
