This is a place I really never think of, its just not in my usual repertoire, but I did have an occasion to go there for a business meeting with a very Orthodox man who had come to town to visit me several months ago, and while it is not really known as a sit down place, there were a few tables, the waitress was delightful, and the sushi was excellent. We were left alone in that quiet corner to conduct our business meeting and it was comfortable and quiet. I understand that the real action is on Fridays, or Thursdays and Fridays, in preparation for the weekend, with their take out appetizers, and based on the sushi being so top-notch, I'm sure the other items are excellent too. I can see that there is a great amount of effort and enthusiasm that goes into running this establishment on a daily basis, and I appreciate them being here. I really have to make it a point to go in more often, for more of the delicious sushi, it was a specialty roll with great sauces, and also to try their other items on the menu. Thanks. read more

Went for a late dinner with friends. Few places were open but Mazza was. We had a fine time although too many fries. Great service.

I had my bris catered from Mazza & More in Allenhurst within just a few hours. I was beyond overwhelmed and David was there throughout the whole process helping me with every detail. The service was beyond what I expected and the food was exceptional. Delicious food - Excellent service I went this week for the first time. I would definitely go back for take out or catering. The food was so good. If you are looking for good kosher food check it out. Hummus, spicey carrots, mini knishes, spinach tarts, veggie egg rolls and something with mushroom that was really good but I can't remember what it's called!! I'd give them one star but I feel bad to ruin the ratings so much. The highlights: lots of the items on the menu are fantastic. I was a huge fan and ordered regularly. I won't be ordering from them again. I found out that the sweet kids making the deliveries never received the tips that I added on my CC. I confirmed this with employees. Our Uber eats order came without any sauces, so I called the restaurant to see if they had any deliveries going out if they can send some sauces. Flatbreads are just awesome. Poke bowls are great too. The place is very clean. The staff is very accommodating. They have pulled beef over fries, and last time I tried it was so good, you have to try it to believe it. Owner David and manager Danny make you feel extremely welcome. I ordered sushi from this not so fine establishment, and I feel that it's insulting to Japanese culture to call is such. The sushi is made void of the correct ingredients that make sushi sushi. This food is merely a collection of seaweed, raw fish, and other scraps from presumably the bottom of the fridge. On top of it all, ever roll was either under filled or just not made correctly. I wish i could rate a place less then 1 star. When ordering on Uber Eats this establishment is one of the first places offered for "sushi" delivery. While the delivery time was speedy the sushi was absolutely awful. They did not use real sushi rice(it was missing rice wine vinegar), the california roll was warm, We were given only packets of soy sauce(this isn't wegmans), the wasabi was smushed all against the sushi(no dividers present), we were forced to pay extra for sauce we didn't want, and the spicy tuna was almost inedible due to its lack of flavor. I would strongly advise against ordering from here unless you like disgusting sushi. read more

Practically identical to the menu in their Brooklyn store, I ordered wonderful mezze. The empanadas, sambusak, lahmabagine, and kibbeh were all spot on, and the highlight of the meal was the pulled beef bbq pizza, with an onion cream on top. Outrageous. The mezze arrived at room temperature, and you can heat them up in the oven or microwave if you would like. I suggest ordering a container of techina on the side for dipping. read more

Lunch yesterday was amazing! The sushi is incredibly fresh, best spicy tuna anywhere. The kani salad is a very generous portion with just the right dressing and a little kick. This restaurant is clean, bright and very friendly. Can't wait to pick-up my fresh mazza tomorrow morning. read more
