I have my usual lash lady elsewhere that I go to but I had a new job starting in 2 days and she didn't have any appointments in that time so I decided to give this place a try. I have been getting my lashes done for over 3 years now so I have a good idea of what I want and am knowledgeable enough about lashes to explain it. I talked to the lash tech for a while to explain to her what I was wanting and the final look left me a bit disappointed as it did not look at all like how I wanted it to. But it's fine, whatever. What made it worse was that the next morning I woke up with white crust all along my lash line. I texted them to ask why it happened and they said it could possibly be from makeup or being outside and to seek medical help (i hadn't worn any makeup in days and hadn't been outside since coming home from the appointment). I also told them I've never experienced anything like this in all the years i've been getting my lashes done. I tried washing my lashes but the crust was still there so I was sat in front of my mirror for 2 hours picking the gunk out with my tweezers. On top of all that, I had the most painful burn that I have experienced and could genuinely not see anything. I've experienced some bad burns from the chemicals in previous lash appointments but this was by far the worst I've ever experienced. I had red eyes for at least a full week and it looked horribly unprofessional for my new job. Fast forward a few weeks, I'm back at my usual lady to fix the mess and I told her about the white gunk on my lash line and showed her pictures. She said it was more than likely from them using too much glue or going too fast and it couldn't possibly be from makeup or being outside. I was pretty upset because I believed it was my fault and didn't push it. But it is what it is. My vision is still a bit blurry after a month. TLDR, I personally do not recommend this place, if you wanna give it a try go ahead, maybe they'll pair you with a better tech.

When we got into her room, it felt like we had a full on mini consultation. I showed her photos, and she asked what specifically I liked about each photo so she could get an idea of what I wanted. I was very impressed with this because I usually just expect someone to look at a picture and say 'got it' and get going. I had also sent her a message a week prior because I had just gotten my eyebrows done and wasn't sure if I would still be a good candidate for the lash extensions and she was certain she could work around it. Before I sat down in the bed I said "I wanted to remind you that-" and she finished my sentence "you just got your eyebrows done." I was very impressed that she had remembered! Her room felt very inviting and calming. The BEST part about her studio is the memory foam bed. I have never been so comfortable getting my eyelashes done! I would not stop talking about how soft that bed was. Jessika is very gentle when applying the lashes, and I could really tell that she is a perfectionist because I felt her going back to check the eyelashes before having me open my eyes to look. At the end, I had a few follow up questions for her, because I wasn't sure if I wanted to commit to lashes long term, or if I just wanted to go in for special occasions. It was absolutely no pressure, and she took the extra time to educate me on what to look for in terms of when its time for a fill or when it's time to get them professionally removed. She also said she has appointments that last an hour, or an hour and a half so she is really flexible and her bookings can accommodate any lifestyle. Another extra perk that I enjoyed was the little thank you bag at the end. Typically, I'm used to getting a wand (maybe) but she gave me a couple of wands, a brush and a mini lash cleanser! I was so impressed because at other places I paid for the lash cleanser and she said she believes it should be part of the full set.
