I highly recommend MBM Locksmith in Sacramento. He came a bit late, but he had texted me to let me know he would be a bit late. He was able to fix three doors in about an hour and a half. Two of the doors had 1931 locks. He had just the right spring for a malfunctioning latch and handle on one and was able to perform some minor service on the second one. The third door I have is what is called a European door which was not functioning. Two other locksmiths were unable to fix it and one of them charged me $200 to take it apart and put it back together without any benefit. Moon, the founder and CEO of MBM was able to diagnose and solve the problem on the site within a short time. Not only that, but because there were parts missing from the previous repair he suggested getting a new key mechanism to make sure the lock would be reliable. This added little to the cost.
