Moon resolved a nearly impossible issue. Our glass slider, double hook mortise lock, was stuck in the locked position. We were told, by another locksmith, that we would have to replace our entire sliding door along with a new lock in order to fix this, (potentially costing us $$$). Thankfully, Moon came to the rescue! He successfully removed the stuck lock and I was able to replace it with a new mortise lock I found online and install it myself. Thank you x 1000 Moon.

We accidentally got locked out of one of our bedrooms that had a keyed lock. Moon answered the call and was here on a late Saturday night within an hour! We accidentally locked ourselves out of our house and MBM Locksmith was the only company available to respond in under an hour. Service was prompt and courteous. It was $160 to get our front door unlocked. I would have preferred a less expensive fee but when you are stuck outside on a hot day with kids, you aren't in a position to bargain or shop around. THIS IS THE ONLY LOCKSMITH IN SACRAMENTO ANYONE SHOULD EVER EVER EVER CONSIDER USING - he's INCREDIBLE. Moon helped me in at the most crucial time. I was purchasing a new car because my old one died. I had locked my keys in my house that day because I took my car rental to the dealership that didn't have my house keys on the key chain. I contacted Moon at the dealership and he assured me that he would help. He was there in just 2 minutes after I arrived from the dealership and it was raining and already dark outside. Called at 1 AM for emergency help getting into my house. The garage door was broken and I don't have a key for the front door. Answered right away, and although he wasn't sure if he could pick the front door lock he offered to come out anyways so he could see if there's any thing he could do to help me. He really went above and beyond to get me into the house-we ended up actually getting in through the garage which he didn't have to do but did anyway despite it being 2am and cold! Even spent time afterwards trying to make a key! In the end, will replace my front door lock so I don't have to worry about that in the future. So grateful for the services he provided! read more

He wore a mask the whole time, was willing to talk to my homeowner warranty company, flipped my locks the correct way, and even fixed how one of my doors locked. I got tired of lifting the heavy door, so I called Adam, who responded immediately and diagnosed the problem as a spring that was too small for the 90-pound door and a track that was too close to the wall. For $300, he replaced the spring with the correct size and adjusted the placement of the track. In addition to that, he said he could install an automatic opener using the front wall (not the ceiling) for $575, which he did. And so, after years of putting up with a terrible garage door, Adam has given me a garage door that is easy to open manually and which I can open with a remote. Bear in mind these doors come in a few weeks if you do special order, so prepare for that. I believe you pay half initially for a deposit and then the rest after completion. Will use again.

Two of the doors had 1931 locks. He had just the right spring for a malfunctioning latch and handle on one and was able to perform some minor service on the second one. The third door I have is what is called a European door which was not functioning. Two other locksmiths were unable to fix it and one of them charged me $200 to take it apart and put it back together without any benefit. Moon, the founder and CEO of MBM was able to diagnose and solve the problem on the site within a short time. Not only that, but because there were parts missing from the previous repair he suggested getting a new key mechanism to make sure the lock would be reliable. This added little to the cost. This company has knowledge and integrity and I highly recommend them. The cost of the repairs was reasonable and very much in line with what I understood from talking to other locksmiths. read more

Had an employee break a key off in the lock to the front door while closing my restaurant on a Sunday night.
