After my MacBook bricked and would not turn back on, I first tried bringing it to UBreakIFix. After…read moreweeks of delays and false promises, UBreakIFix told me that the logic board was damaged and as a result, I would need to pay for a replacement logic board, screen, and keyboard. In addition, my data would be unrecoverable. So, after doing my own research into logic board repairs for my specific model, I learned that it was possible to fix my MacBook and recover my data. So, after searching for local specialists, I found ThinqMac. My first conversation with one of their employees immediately made me feel that I was in good hands. The gentleman corroborated a lot of the information I had found out through my own research. The technicians ran some tests on my computer and eventually sent it out to a company that specializes in logic board repair. In the end, after being told by UBreakIFix and Apple that my data was unrecoverable and my computer would never turn on again, the folks at ThinqMac proved them wrong. I called CT&A and spoke to Mike who was very friendly & helpful. He told me if we placed the order by noon, he could assure delivery by Saturday (only two days). I had him call my dad to go over specifics and he told him to expect a call on Saturday to notify him of the time of arrival. I was worried due to traffic & weather that they might be delayed, but Michael & Standre came over to my Dad's house at 10:30 am and replaced the refrigerator with a brand new one. It fit perfectly in the space and they kindly helped my dad remove its contents and put trash in the garage. They also had to remove a door to fit it into the kitchen but put it back even better than before as it used to be a little loose on the hinges. They could not have been kinder and more sensitive to my dad. I am really impressed with the sales team (Mike) , the delivery experience (Michael & Standre) & the overall level of service & reliability. After about a dozen…read moretimes being treated with rudeness by the male staffer, Ive finally decided to take my business to another cleaner. I've been coming to Ridgeway since 2021. Every single time the man who works here handles my service, he has been rude, disrespectful or angry. My last visit was the final straw. I brought in dress shirts to be cleaned and pressed. He looked at the items I dropped off and said "you don't like to iron, huh?" I thought he was joking, so I chuckled and said no- isn't that why cleaners are in business? He shook his head angrily and said "there outta be a law." Excuse me?! You're insulting a customer for bringing in items to be pressed? Was the insinuation women should stay home and iron?? Other examples: I dropped off an expensive Williams Sonoma table runner to be dry cleaned. When I picked it up it was clearly cleaned with bleach as the color was completely faded out. He refused to take responsibility and said they had followed the cleaning instructions, so it wasn't their fault. I've been aggressively yelled at for not having my paper slip, for coming by to pick up items a couple of hours before they were ready (a simple "it's not ready yet would have been fine, but I got a loud angry lecture). You'd think this rude behavior would have kept me away, but Ive noticed he wasn't this mean to everyone, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. It took me a while to notice that the male customers who are his age are treated with respect and a friendly greeting, and I've only seen men take their business here. So there you go. You all don't want women customers? Done!!!
