I was just in a small Santa Monica parking spot when I accidentally knocked off my passenger side mirror by hitting a pole next to my parking spot. Of course the first thing that came to mind is how costly it is going to be, because Mercedes parts can be extremely expensive. I stopped at a few body shops on my way home that day and got quotes that made me run in the opposite direction. After telling a friend at work who is born and raised in SoCal my situation, she told me I need to go to MBZ and no where else! I went to MBZ YESTERDAY and showed them my situation and Ara, who is awesome, quickly got on the phone and immediately had a solution for me. It did NOT include getting all new casing and everything else (as others told me I needed). He simply got the part to fix the blinker light strip and the inside part that I had damaged. NOTHING EXTRA! Now to the part we really care about.... IT WAS 1/3 THE PRICE OF EVERYWHERE ELSE... AND... He got the parts the SAME DAY.. If I didn't have work that afternoon it would have been done the same day. Instead, I went back at 8am this morning and he fixed it himself right away. Here are the extras that made the experience better: 1. Right when I got there this AM Ara made me coffee. 2. He offered me to browse on a computer while I wait or watch t.v. 3. It only took about 40 minutes for the whole job. 4. He showed me what he was doing during the repair which was actually really interesting. 5. He also fixed my inner console. 6. My daughter discovered she had a cracked oil pan on her MBZ CLA 250. Living in AZ, I didn't know any good references in LA. After much research, I saw a lot of positive reviews about MBZ Auto Service. After talking with Ara, I decided to go with him to do the work. He explained everything very clearly with facetiming me by showing me the cracked pan and explained the procedure to fix the car. It was a pleasure to work with him for his honesty, knowledge, friendliness, and kindness. The repair cost was reasonable, and the car was repaired in a timely manner. Also, he discovered that the car was in need of a new battery. He gave us the option of buying a mercedes factory battery or getting another one outside of the shop. I decided to go with the factory battery. Ara treated my daughter well and explained all repairs to her also. I highly recommend him and his work to anyone who needs auto service in the LA area. I am a walk in customer for this business and I'm very satisfied with the service they provided. I'll write briefly. I own '03 SL500 and it's already out of manufacturer warranty. My problem was a clicking noise coming when I was driving over 30 miles per hour. When I left the car at the shop the guys gave me a ride back home and called me with the ready diagnosis in less than an hour. The person I was talking to, Ara, was the owner of the shop. The way he spoke and was acting left only a positive experience. The shop was extremely clean, neat and tidy after all the oils and lubricants that are usually used in the mechanic shops. I discovered MBZ after a bad repair at another shop in Hollywood that's slipped in it's quality I've discovered over the past couple of years. I haven't been back there since, with MBZ Auto as THE shop for me to take my '02 ML320. Clean and professional shop; knowledgeable AND if you're interested, Ara explains exactly what needs doing and shows you the results of what he did. Quite unusual for repair places. My steering wheel was a little stiff so I took it in to get it checked. He took a long time, about an 1 hour and a half, and charged me for the labor. He said it just needed some lubricating and it is fine now. So I drove to pick my little brother up and noticed it was getting stiff again. I went back to him later that day and he said I need to get a completely new steering wheel. He looked at it that long before and says that now. Short story, I left and found another place who fixed the problem,(which was not even close to replacing the wheel). I am never coming back here again and hope other people don't fall for these kind of tricks. read more

Great service and a well trained Factory Technician. I had my car serviced at the MBZ Dealer for many years. When the factory warranty ran out, the problems started. They wanted to charge thousands of dollars to fix my transmission. I took my car to MBZ Auto for a second opinion and stayed there. This Mechanic knows his job well. It only cost me $200 to fix the problem. He is very honest and explained everything in a way that I could understand. I like his timely manner and clean shop. Then I did a little research and found MBZ auto service on San Fernando Rd, in Glendale. Ara greet me with cop of coffee while he was checking my car.I found him to be very honest and knowledgable. They diagnosed damaged cable of starter conection and after mechanic replaced it teh car start normaly again.
