    Burger with french fries

Tucked in the back of the building, this quaint eatery offers some decent sandwich choices for a good value. Great taste and we loved the French fries!

Great service and food!! Wonderful local Flowery Branch burger place! We had the Gouda Godfather and OG Burger and were both really pleased. Went for a late lunch and ended up each bringing home half a burger. They are large!

Love the vibe and the food. Add jalapeño to your burger for a little kick. It is very satisfying.

Got the OG and hangover burger. Best smash burger ever! Love that they cook their fries in tallow. Order was ready fast and fresh.

A friend recently gifted me a delicious frozen peach pie from Southern Baked Pie Company, I admit I…read morewas a little skeptical but I'm a sucker for pie so after a few days I decided to pop it in the oven and hoped for the best. I've eaten a lot of pie over the years, homemade, fresh baked from a bakery and from the freezer, this peach pie was one of the best peach pies I have ever ever ever eaten hands down. The crust and lattice work was amazing, the pie was loaded with larges slices of peaches folded into a slight tart filling and for me the most impressive feature of the pie besides the taste was the texture of the fruit which was still relatively firm instead of being mushy like you get in some fruit pies. I am definitely a fan of this bakery and fortunately for me I have a camping trip planned next month in very close proximity to them and will absolutely pay them an in person visit to see what other goodies they have to offer and to fill my freezer. Southern Baked Pie Company is definitely a company you should try...

For the sake of honesty, let me start by saying my initial experience with the Gainesville store…read morewas not awesome. BUT... Management made it right and I sincerely appreciate that effort even though I didn't expect or ask for anything like that to happen. The director of operations went above and beyond and it says a lot about a company when their upper management actually cares that much about one customer's experience. All I wanted was to make a listing error known after what I thought I ordered turned out to be something completely different. My issue was more than fixed by the DoO personally bringing me the pot pie I'd thought I'd ordered as well as a full sized key lime pie; and I'm so appreciative of the effort put forth to make things right. It was completely unexpected but a beautiful gesture just the same. With that said... My thoughts on the food? Cons: I do think it's a bit pricey for a pot pie or a pie in general. The filling needs to be a bit thicker. It was a tad too runny. Pros: Can I make a great pot pie from scratch at home? Yes. Did I have time to do that this week? No. Is mine as good as theirs? Filling wise? Maybe, however theirs did have a very nice flavor. But their crust is FABULOUS! And just so happens to be the best part of a pot pie, in my opinion and I humbly admit, in that realm, they have me beat by miles. We got the frozen, take and bake, which was super convenient. Directions were easy to follow. Just remove the plastic wrap, pop in the oven on 400 for 30 minutes and then lower temp to 375, bake again for an additional 50-60 minutes. Leaving me without having the usual mess I create when I make my own pot pie and after an incredibly busy Monday-Wednesday, I was so grateful! The key lime pie... all I can say is WOW!! I'm not a dessert baker and don't really eat dessert often but I could make an exception for that pie, ANY TIME!! It was just the right balance of tart and sweet, and so creamy! I also loved, even though this is probably an unpopular opinion, that they didn't cover the pie in meringue. Over all, initial error/experience aside, I'm very happy with the food and its quality, as well as the business ethics of the company as a whole. Would I do it again? Yeah, I think I would. It's a healthier option than fast food and even with the price being a bit high, I think it's worth it.

I forgot to take a photo of the full order. Shame on me, because it looked like a pastry runway…read moreshow. I've also had PB bookmarked for quite sometime...so I blame my eagerness for the failed group runway photos. Lol I placed my order at 5 AM for an 8:15/8:30 AM pickup, and they still managed to pack everything like they were preparing it for royalty. Let mama break it down for you! Berry Tart: This tart walked in looking like it pays rent. Gorgeous, glossy, and so pretty I almost apologized before cutting into it. Clients loved it. My kids loved it. Strawberry Soft Cream Cake Slice: My 2‑year‑old (CEO of Strawberry Obsessed Galore) approved immediately. Every layer had actual thick strawberry pieces, not those sad little bits that makes you wonder if there were even strawberries in here or just mushed up pieces... Sweet, creamy, NOT overly weak and a total show‑off. We devoured it. Fruit Pastry & Raspberry Fruit Bite: Flaky pastry + custard + fruit = the holy trinity. These two didn't miss. They understood the assignment and executed flawlessly. Curry & Crab Croquette: I'm team CRAB croquette. It was loaded, crispy, and basically winked at me. My colleague, however, acted like the curry croquette was a spiritual experience. Pretty sure his eyes rolled to the back of his head..HAH. Both are winners! Pepperoni Pizzetta: My 4‑year‑old took one bite and immediately rejected Papa John's. That's the entire review. Case closed. Iced Sweet Green Tea: This one... was not it. It tasted like coffee that borrowed someone else's filter. We'll just leave it at that. Now, let's talk service: They open at 7 AM, and somehow had my entire order made, warmed, packed, organized, and ready in just over an hour..while other customers were inside, AND they helped me load everything into my car. My short notice didn't even make them blink.
