Good, fast painters are hard to come by, and it's even harder to find ones who are professional and pleasant. MC Drywall & Painting is the real deal. I first found these guys last week. In the last 7 days, I've asked them to do two different jobs for me, and they're done with both already - both times Juan (the owner) responded directly, and worked with me to find a quick time to walk through the job. He listed out the work, explained my options and what the result would be, and gave me very fair prices. On both jobs, he did the prep work right then and there, and we scheduled when he could come back to do the finishing. Last week, I had Juan Corrales of MC Drywall and Painting remove popcorn from my garage ceiling, refinish it with mud as needed, and then paint it. While Juan is a pleasant person to work with, the actual work needed a lot to be desired. Firstly, there could have been a lot more protection of the items in the garage and a lot better cleanup, as needed, after the job. I pointed out a few items which needed to be cleaned up and asked him to look for other similar items also to take care of. After about 30 minutes, he claimed to have cleaned up everything. When I checked later, that was obviously not true. When I called him back, he did return the next day and removed mud and paint from some more areas (walls and floor) and other things in the garage and the driveway. Unfortunately, the clean up job was still incomplete, many of the items in the garage still have white powder or paint on those. There are still wall areas with blobs of mud on them. Will take me a while to clean all those up. The other issue is that when they unstapled (to be able to paint the ceiling) and then re-stapled the automatic garage door wiring from the control panels to the garage door motors, it was a completey amatuerish job. Instead of going in a straight line, the wires are going in wiggly lines, curving back and forth at random. The covers of the control panels are loose. Essentially, this means that I will now have to spend more money to get somebody from a Garage Door Opener company to re-do the control panels and the wiring so that the work looks decent. read more

I could not say enough good things about Juan and his crew. Completely professional, prompt, and SO FAST! We had quite the job of needing our entire bottom floor hallway painted, in addition to our stairwell and kitchen and he did ALL of this (including removing the stair rail and putting it back) all in a day! We were completely shocked his team did it all in a day, we thought it was going to take 3! Zero mess, zero runs on the paint, and so clean! I absolutely love what they did! I was going for dark and moody vibes and I'm so happy yo ho with this paint color. They were extremely affordable and efficient. I had popcorn ceiling and white walls. They came in and removed the popcorn ceiling, textured it and then painted all within 2 days. For context, my master bedroom is 15x10 and they charged $1900 for everything. All in 2 days. Very little disruption and I'm very pleased with the results. A job well done!
