We purchased the alcohol ourselves for the event and Kevin did a great job in understanding our drink preferences and providing a shopping list for drinks, mixers, garnishes and ice for the event (we had 140+ people). The bartenders also were judicious about not opening bottles of alcohol throughout the night that were not needed, making returning unopened alcohol and wine the next day easy to save us money on our drink budget. We had an overall great experience with the bartenders and would recommend them for your next event.

We hired PR bartending at recommendation of our venue and reading positive reviews for a wedding in October of 2023. Interacted directly with Kevin in the wedding planning phase who was pleasant and helpful. Kevin allowed us to modify services offered, determine what would align with our projected budget, promptly provided us updated quotes, and provided a purchase order. Overall very easy to work with in planning phase. There was one small pre-wedding issue in which PR Bartending changed addresses and did not notify us, resulting in our final check payment to be delivered to the prior address. We only learned of the address change when Kevin reached out regarding the missing payment, but he did NOT charge us a late fee. On the day of the wedding, all bar related items were organized/set up as per our contract and discussions. During our cocktail hour our guests notified me that bartending was not serving draft beer. Our day of coordinator was not notified of this problem (as if standard for vendors). Our contract with PR bartending did specifically state that WE were responsible for ensuring the setup and proper function of the kegerator. I identified myself to Kevin and attempted to work to identify the problem. Kevin, seemingly frustrated did not provide a clear answer as to if the kegerator was working properly and what the specific problem was as to why beer was not being served. I assigned two individuals familiar with kegs/draft lines/carbonation systems to troubleshoot the issue, they were able to remedy the problem (CO2 regulator needed adjustment) but it took them considerable time as Kevin was reluctant to physically move and let the in the space near the kegerator. While this was during a busy point in cocktail hour and the space was small, clear communication and a degree of flexibility from PR Bartending would have allowed quicker resolution. Later on that evening approximately 1 hour prior to the pre-determined conclusion of bartending service I went up the bar to obtain a drink for myself and my bride. Kevin recognized me and before I could ask for a drink immediately stated "I'm x amount short" and asked how I was going to pay the remainder of the balance of the tip jar (as per contract). I left the bar area to find my checkbook to write the remaining balance but was intercepted by several guests. When I returned, 30 minutes later a family member informed me that he covered the remaining balance as a wedding gift as the bartending was asking for the bride or groom to rectify the balance on the tip jar. Other than the terse interactions, our guests reported good service and well-made drinks. I was pleased to hear that our guests had better interactions than we did however, I would expect more cordial interactions from a wedding vendor with the bride and/or groom.

We reached out on a whim and luckily enough Jodi was available on short notice for our wedding date. We truly wish that we had found her and contracted her from the beginning. Jodi and the team were so easy to work with, took amazing photos and eliminated all of the stress of wedding photography. The photos are amazing and the team is so fun and easy to work with. Jump Around is a typical indoor play area for children and consists of inflatable structures. It is…read morevery fairly priced at $7.50 per child for free play times. According to their site, there are a lot of free play block of time. Kids love it. The area is tucked into a small corner of the Bedford Sports Complex and has 4 structures. Needless to say, the kids have a blast. There is a small seating area for parents and for kids to take a break. This area is an imitation hardwood floor. It is very slippery for people not wearing their shoes. Most of the gym floor has a felt covered padding, but this sitting area is not and it is very slick to be wearing socks on. Not very good planning on that. After speaking with someone about it they stated that they were aware and looking into having something laid down. That would be a smart choice. Also in speaking with the staff member, I was informed that they use Armor-all on the slide to keep them slick! This to me is an extreme hazard. Armor-all is an automobile surface cleaner. Looking at the label it states that it is TOXIC!!!! Granted the kids aren't licking the slides as they go down the slides but their hands are all over the slides. Then after sliding they go have snacks and potentially getting the harmful chemicals on what they are eating. Below is from the armor-all website: Eye Contact- Immediately flush eyes with running water for at least 15 minutes, keeping eyelids open. Get medical attention if irritation develops. Skin Contact- Wash affected area with soap or mild detergent and water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention if irritation develops. If inhaled, remove to fresh air. Get medical attention if symptoms occur. Inhalation Ingestion- If swallowed, do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical attention immediately. I personally don't think I will go there again until they fix these two major safety issues!

Our wedding planning was plagued…read morewith constantly changing COVID regulations and I was full of anxiety about how our big day would go. Allison and Sarah could not have been more comforting and proactive. Over email, phone, and video call, they put my mind at ease and I felt so prepared the day of my wedding, no matter what restrictions were in place. Allison could not have done a better job the day of. She built a great rapport with my family, bridal party, and the venue's event manager to ensure the day ran smoothly. She knew the schedule and set up like the back of her hand. When the timing of certain day-of activities changed last minute, she made sure to let me know of the changes and the night went on without issue. If it were not for COVID and my anxieties around how it would affect our wedding I likely would not have looked for an outside coordinator- our venue did provide one that began to work closely with us (and Allison) in the month or so before the wedding and I truly believe she would have done a comparable job in the day-of execution. But it's the long term commitment to the planning process that makes Without a Hitch special.
